If you like any pattern inside, she is willing to make a copy for you (and if you buy her yarn at the same time). I think she is pretty good in crocheting as she stocked up some (VERY FINE) crochet yarn with are very elegant and gorgeous. Although the shop is small, but it's always pretty crowded with knitters there. They sit there, chat, and knit. And the store lady is more than happy to teach how to read Japanese patterns as well. She sometimes have some sales on yarn , and she put them in the bins at the entrance. It's a good place to go, as she has new items for every season. I will say that the price is pretty high for the Japanese yarn, if you compare with the European ones, but, Japanese yarn is not cheap, and with their high quality , I think it worths. *the store moved to another location within the same mall. You can see the store front from the roads if you're looking towards the plaza. The sign is done in a pretty font befitting its name. There's plenty of free parking. The lot is accessible from Steeles. The store looks deceptively small from the outside. It's long, and has a second floor. This specialty shop has just about anything you may require for all your sewing and thread craft needs. Not only will you find supplies, you will be able to avail yourself of the knowledge the owner and staff can share. In fact, they teach their own classes here. When we came in looking for a new pair of scissors, we enjoyed browsing the books, patterns, and accessories as well. We did find that it's a little more expensive for some things than going to the Fabricland up Weston Road, but we enjoyed the better atmosphere and the satisfaction of supporting a local business. If you don't want the sterile shopping experience of a chain like Fabricland, this place is for you. The inspiration and knowledge you will come away with from here instead make it worth repeat returns.

Camilla Valley is very different and a really wonderful find for knitters. They have an amazing amount of yarn and a crazy amount of colours packed into a cute little building. I considered it a treat going there. Linda is not only amazingly talented she is incredibly helpful. I tell her what I want and she puts the package together without me even having to think. lol. At first I was heartbroken when I learnt she was moving her store to Orangeville but now it is even a bigger treat to go to see her at her store. I am so happy for Linda and her new digs. She still puts everything together for me,knows my taste and lets me know when a yarn she knows I will love comes in. Now my biggest fear is if she ever retires.
