I called him many times and never came to finish...I guess it's my bad for paying him before it was all completed, but that's not why I am editing my review...we literally just had to re-do all the bullsh** work that Eddy did. Thousands upon thousands of dollars given to Eddy for a job that had to be re-done. The walls in our basement had to come down again, because there was a leak from a corroded pipe that Eddy and his team did not take care of...the cause of all the mold. The pipe and its leak were literally in plain view. In addition, we found several beer cans that him and/or his workers left in the walls. Yuck. I did not want to write this review and before writing, I called Eddy and gave him an opportunity to do the right thing to come to my house to look for himself and discuss the situation. As expected, he said he would come, but never showed. If you notice my review below, it speaks of a person who knew how to handle us during a horribly stressful situation. With the vantage point of hindsight, I can clearly see now what a con artist he is. He took advantage of us, because we were so distraught. He called in a terrible crew of people that had to come back several times (the walls were uneven) and yet still the work was never finished and they left us vulnerable to another horrible situation, because they never took care of the leak. ORIGINAL REVIEW: When we saw the spots of black mold in our basement caused by water damage, we hired Eddy and his team at Dr. Mold to handle the mitigation/removal. The extent of the toxic mold turned out to be much worse than we had imagined. Our basement had to be completely gutted and we had to throw away so much of our belongings. This was really stressful, but it was made better not only by Eddy's professionalism, but also his understanding of what our family had to go through. Eddy patiently explained everything, guided us with what we needed to file an insurance claim, and was a compassionate and calming presence throughout the process.

A very professional estimator came to our home to review the items that needed repair, including a…read moredeck and some trim and siding. She took measurements and photos, and said they would be able to do it all, no problem. Unfortunately it has been nearly a month since we have heard anything about an estimate. We texted the estimator. Nothing. We called and a receptionist said someone would call us back. Then, nothing. The sad part is that if the work had been done satisfactorily, we would have had more projects for them. Instead, we now could not possibly recommend them to anyone. I don't understand what these contractors are thinking. If you are too busy or have some other reason for not moving forward, say so instead of wasting the homeowner's time.
