The Case of the No Show Cab…read more My friends and I were attending a wedding outside of Austin. I knew that Uber had already left and there was a hodgepodge of rideshare services that rose from Uber's ashes. After some phone calls we decided, "Hey 2 Star Yelp business a chance, what's the worst that can happen?". We reserved 3 vans to be picked up at midnight at the wedding venue. Lo and behold, midnight strikes and I had a Cinderella at the ball moment. I went from feeling like the belle to a puddle of sadness, because at this point of the night I was so exhausted that I had no energy to think. After playing phone tag for 30 minutes, a van finally arrives as we were basking in the moonbeam and start lit night. Women and children went first because chivalry isn't dead. We were told that the other van was behind him and that we should be rescued shortly. This was at 1:30am, after the agreed upon midnight pick up. Another hour went by, and we figured that the taxi cab has left us stranded 28.4 Miles from Austin. We cut our losses and we had two people from the one AND only van that came and picked us up and dropped them off come to get us. We finally got home at 3am. Despite the crappy ordeal, we now have a greater appreciation for Uber. You da real MVP. Austin misses you.

The commute should only take 20 minutes from my job to the location and the dispatcher said yeah no problem that's perfect be there in twenty. He knew I had a 3pm appointment. Twenty minutes roll by and I call back and he says oh I had to pick someone up at the airport. I'll be there in 20; which is ridiculous cause he said that twenty minutes ago. It's clear at this point that the dispatcher and the driver is the same person. Because he txt's me 5 mins later saying he's 12 miles away?!? Then at 2:40 I'm leaving an angry voicemail when he calls in and tells me to call yellow cab instead, he's in traffic. Are you freaking kidding me!!!!! He totally blew any chance of making my appointment and possibly made so I have to take another half day at work. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!

Then the nurses came in and said actually it would be a couple of hours sooner; it was, Nurses Rule! Somehow they managed the pickup only about 10 minutes after I was ready. Amazing! I found E&S llc Property Management while renting a property for Memorial Day 3 years ago. The rental process was wonderful and Sally was prompt, patient and thorough. Everything was perfect for our weekend and it was obvious that a lot of care had been taken preparing for our weekend because of all of the personal touches! My husband and I bought our first rental property a little over two years ago and were lost. We knew we couldn't do it ourselves and didn't even think of calling anyone but E&S. Sally and I talked immediately and the next day we went out to the house she and Earl (the E in E&S). From my first phone call I felt like I knew thet I was dealing with professionals who cared about getting my property not just rented but rented to the RIGHT, QUALIFIED people!  I am so glad I made the decision to have E&S handle our property. They gave me guidance throughout the entire process and still do (much needed), follow up on every communication and keep us in the loop. Our property was rented immediately after getting it ready. I see consistent excellent feedback in reviews and I give Sally and Earl so much credit. The detailed prep that Earl does, from blowing leaves, readying the BBQ, to dealing with contractors and emergencies with the house is truly incredible. The connections to anything and everything that they have is more than impressive. The way Earl and Sally partner to make guests' stay from contact, throughout the stay to the conclusion is seamless. It didn't help either that there was construction going on 10ft to the right of us with very loud banging noises, if I would of known about that I would not have booked this house. The inside was remodeled okay but the furniture was nasty looking and stained and not very comfortable. Both showers need to be redone with new plumbing and new shower doors needed...one looked like it was made from some type of cheap plastic that wasn't even placed correctly! Management was not very friendly either(Sally). Not that easy to get a hold of like everyone has said...only to be greeted with an attitude.
