They did an amazing job on my pedicure! I never get french tips anymore cause most nail salons do it too thick, but they did it perfectly here! Will definitely be coming again! Very clean and quiet as well which I liked. read more

I was always happy at NAIL STOPS, when it changed to Fine Creations recently I was skeptical to try new ownership, The new owner is Candy, very sweet I was very happy with the outcome. Tony always did a great job with my nails but now I found someone else who is just as good when Tony not available. More selections of color and styles, I was amazed of the service. I recommend anyone to go there. Service was wonderful, caring, clean, and please come in and give a try, Fine Creations would love to keep the regular customers but would also love to make new customers. read more

I would give them 0 stars if that was a option. First things first the guy who was doing my nails was flirting with me and calling me beautiful and everytime my phone went off he was staring at my phone as if reading my messages that were coming up on my screen. My nails were terrible. Very thick and crooked. I asked him multiple times to fix it and even when he tried he just made it worse.. I am absolutely appalled by the looks of my nails. The polish is very uneven and it literally just looks like a 5 year old did my nails. I was there for 2 hours and came out with TERRIBLE nails. I should have known when I walked it and it was a ghost town. He got up multiple diff times to answer FaceTime calls on his cell phone and kept Telling me be right back. This was one of the best experiences I have ever had...we called for two pedicures, and believe me, our toes were very needy. Lynn and her associate took their time with our feet; and produce soft, moisturized and massaged "little piggies." What an excellent pedicure! One of us got our eyebrows waxed...and the shaping was perfect! Tony and staff were extremely considerate and thoughtful...and we are planning to go back! read more

I don't even know where to begin with this situation. Today my normal nail salon was closed and I was in dire need of a fill, so I decided to go somewhere else since I wouldn't have time the rest of the week to get my nails done. My friends and I went to Nail Stop in Bristol, myself looking to get a fill and her to get a gel manicure. When we first went in a man came up to us and told us that it would be about a 20 minute wait. This was fine by us so we picked out a color and sat down. After about 40 minutes went by we were getting a bit aggravated. After another 20 minutes went by, for a total of 1 hour, they began to do our nails. He did my friends gel manicure very quick and began to do my fill. This was when I became really angry, When drilling down my nails he managed to cut my pointer finger open. I didn't see this as a big deal because I understand that it happens and it was an accident. Then things took a turn. He then put the glue that you use to glue on tips into my fresh wound. Literally he put NAIL GLUE in my cut open finger! At this point I was really upset but was trying to keep my cool and not be a rude customer. I gave him the benefit of the doubt when doing the rest of my nails assuming that they would be good. But then I realize that he had used the buffer drill on my nails instead of the normal one they use everywhere else, leaving them incredibly thick. Then without having me wash my hands he began to paint the gel polish on. The polish was incredibly sloppy and then I noticed how crooked all of my nails were. Also the fact that my friends polish was all messed up and sloppy as well. When we went to pay I told him that I was very upset with the service and that my finger hurt badly, I told him that I deserve a refund but instead he charged me $20.00 for the sloppy mess on my fingers. After walking outside into the sunlight I could see how bad my nails truly were. The tips were not even painted and there was paint on my fingers. I decided to go back in and ask for a refund. When I went back and I said to the lady "I would like to politely ask for a refund" you then told me that I had to talk to the man in the back who had done my nails. I then told him about what she had said and that I wanted a refund and his response was, "what is wrong with your nails?" I showed him how thick they were in crooked and painted poorly and that my finger was cut open and nail glue was put in it. Then the lady who had originally told me to talk to him but it in and asked what was going on. And my friend tried explaining to them politely what had gone wrong and why we wanted our refund. They both then told us that we could not have our money back and that they could take the nails off and return them to our natural nails. At that I did not want them to do any more services on me. I Told her that I didn't want them to fix my nails I just wanted my $20 back so that I can go to my normal nail place another time and get them fixed. Then she got in our faces and told us "you can have your money back but I'm calling the police on you and they need to fight in your defense." We were absolutely appalled by the actions of this lady. She was really that adamant on not giving us a refund for the poor work and pain that her salon had caused, that she was going to call the police on two 16 year old girls. We began to leave when she told us that she was going to call the cops on us because I did not think it was that big of a deal to get into a fight with the police over. On our way out, I tried showing her the cut in my finger and the nail glue that was put in it by her worker, I then told her that I was going to leave a review telling everyone about my cut open finger and her response was "It never happened" . In total I am completely shock about this entire incident. Grown woman getting into a fight with 216-year-olds at her place of business is completely immature. Let alone the fact that they refused to give us our money back after what they had done. Hopefully for anyone thinking about going to this salon, see this first realize you're making a huge mistake. read more

After going to Nail Stop often a couple years ago, I stopped going for a long time because their nail technicians kept "cutting" my cuticles to the point they'd bleed, and they didn't seem know how how to deal with that. So, just recently I decided to go back since I heard their Shellac prices were the lowest around. Well, you pay cheap you get cheap. Not even 24 hours later 2 of my Shellac'd nails completely peeled off because they did it wrong! It is now only 4 days later, and ALL of the Shellac peeled off! Shellac is supposed to last almost 2 weeks! I will never go to Nail Stop again. Not only because of my issues, but my friends mother also got a nasty infection from a pedicure there. It doesn't seem too clean in there either...don't go here! read more

You should have come to sally beauty supply in bristol price chopper plaza. I would have showed u an easy way to get off your gel polish..it takes 15 minutes and your nails are back to its natural state. I was going to this salon today to see what it is about. I called and no answer or return call. They don't post hours online. I'm sure it won't be here long. Too bad because we could use a good nail place downtown. read more

I'm livid as I write this review. I went there 3 weeks ago for the 1st time to get a pedicure. I went back the following week for the maincure. I requested the same color as my toes. I was informed that the color on my toes would not wear as well on my nails. He suggested a different type of polish for longer wear. I said okay. It is now 2 weeks later and I try to remove the nail polish. It won't come off. After a half bottle of nail polish remover it still won't come. I went back to the salon to inquire and was told that the polish is a form of lacquer that has to be removed by the salon. WHY WASN'T I INFORMED OF THIS BEFORE? His reply..all of my regular customers know that. Well since I wasn't a regular customer I should have been informed. This was a deliberate way of getting me to come back to the salon whether I wanted to or not. There was a $10.00 charge to remove the polish. Poor business technique. I would never go back or refer anyone to Nail Stop on farmington ave in Bristol. read more
