From the beginning, I noticed that recommendations felt more focused on selling the newest treatments or expensive products rather than truly understanding what my skin needed. I followed their advice consistently, investing thousands of dollars in treatments and high-end creams -- all used exactly as directed. The results were always temporary. My skin would feel nice for a few days after a treatment, but there was never any lasting improvement. Every time I expressed concern about the lack of results, I was told it could be due to hormones or some other issue, and then they'd suggest yet another cream or a different treatment -- repeating the same cycle. I trusted their expertise for years, assuming maybe they were right. I decided to try another med spa -- and the difference was night and day. The new place actually assessed my skin type thoroughly, suggested AFFORDABLE products that suit my skin from amazon and I started seeing real, consistent improvement. This made me realize that what I needed all along was a more personalized, thoughtful approach -- not a sales pitch. They offered to give me an add on. When I arrived at the new time, fifteen min early as they requested.... They took my payment for my service before if was even performed. I never had that happen before at a med spa. Then it was a full hour before they actually took me back to start my treatment. I came trying to get the five in one special that they had for new patients. They asked me multiple times when I was booking my appointment if I had any allergies and I explained that I was allergic to vitamin C. Well, it turns out that that five in one has vitamin C in it. So all in all they just wasted my time. They were not punctual. And were very unprofessional from beginning to end. I never got an explanation as to why they booked me while knowing my allergy. I never got an apology. Even during the consultation, I reiterated that I was allergic to vitamin C and she never said anything about the five and one having vitamin C in it. Luckily, the sweet girl that was going to do my treatment was the only one that advocated for me the whole place had a very disingenuous and gimmicky vibe from beginning to end.

My facial began with a few deep breaths of essential oils and the most incredible facial massage I have ever felt in my life. I told her one of my concerns was that my chin was turning into two chins and she listened because when the facial was done, not only was my skin hydrated and healthy looking, the double chin I had dramatically reduced in size. She told me sometimes we can build up fluids and some tlc and drainage techniques can help. Included with my facial was energy work. I know if I go to Dr. Shipes she will want to inject me again and I know longer feel comfortable getting any injections from the spa. I so ask Dr.Shipes to use my points which was 595 against my payment. That was never used. Friends please be careful with this spa.
