This is also called "Boynton Anti-Aging"
This review is for his reception, not for the Dr himself as I never had the opportunity to meet him.
I purchased a Groupon for Dysport. Their phones were down for 2-3 weeks so I couldn't get through to make an apt. I finally get through and it was the worst experience I've ever had contacting or communicating with a Dr's office- ever. I called at 11am and wanted to see if by some rare chance my husband and I could get in for the flu which we've been suffering with on and off since Oct. I was shifted around to many different ladies there in the office and then put on hold for about 15 minutes. Now, this doesn't bother me, nor did it bother me that their phones were down for weeks.
This is what bothers me.... When someone finally answered the phone I briefly asked for an apt for both my husband and I, and figured I'd get the Dysport the same time we were there.
And this is what I got:
"I THOUGHT THIS WAS AN EMERGENCY PHONE CALL THE DR DOESN'T HAVE ANY APPOINTMENTS TODAY. HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF YOU WERE A PATIENT AND I WAS PULLED OUT OF A ROOM TO HELP SOMEONE ON THE PHONE WHO CLAIMS THE CALL IS AN EMERGENCY? I THOUGHT THIS WAS IMPORTANT, THIS ISN'T IMPORTANT!"
I was blown away. All I could say was "why are you yelling at me? I never said this was an emergency". Of course, I am not a patient of Dr. Fine's so I was not surprised he didn't have room for us on short notice. Then I said, "ok, that's fine, can I go ahead and make an apt next week for the Dysport?
More yelling:
"I'M BUSY AND YOU'LL HAVE TO CALL BACK SOME OTHER TIME REGARDING YOUR GROUPON ... (I then asked when would be a good time) I DON'T KNOW, CALL BACK IN 20 MINUTES."
At this point I was becoming less and less happy with this crazy person, so I said, "wait, shouldn't you be the one calling me back, I'm the patient and why are you being nasty to me, I've done nothing wrong???"
More yelling:
"I DON'T HAVE TIME TO CALL YOU BACK"
And then?? She hung up on me.
I swear to God, this is a true story people. Needless to say, I called Groupon and received a refund. I then called the Dr's office back, informed them that I'd canceled my Groupon, and that Groupon was going to send this matter to upper management to monitor any more complaints. I asked who the person was who went nuts, and lost it on an innocent patient, but they wouldn't tell me. I asked them twice, but they wouldn't give me her name. I would have made sure the Dr knew what had happened, but I have zero information on any of the women working there. Hopefully they will get it together and Groupon will not receive any more requests for refunds.
This is absolutely the last time I purchase a Groupon or visit an establishment who does not have reviews. Every time I break down and do it, it's always a mistake. read more
