I waited for 2 days after an emergency visit to the Greenacres office and I needed to go to an Urgent care because my test results had not come back and the Nurse Practitioner would not call in a Broad Spectrum antibiotic in for me to start taking while we waited for results. MD Now Urgent Care took better care of my medical issues and did a rapid test and sent for further testing. Meanwhile, I started a round of antibiotics so my infection would not spread to my kidneys. I don't know how a Practitioner could let a patient wait for 5 days for test results to come back. I informed the Nurse Practitioner of my symptoms and gave her my background and experiences with the Diabetes medication that had side effects that caused me to be suffering with the UTI. I just wanted everyone to know that something is wrong with the thought process behind a medical professional to let a patient wait for treatment. The worst part of my experience is that I never received a call from their office even after the test results should have been back, so therefore I never had follow-up care after my initial visit. Do they really care about their patients? Did I just fall through their crack or black hole? I guess I am looking for a more reliable medical practice after this?
