Given that we have a cat who gets into everything, finding a service that used natural/non-toxic cleaning supplies was a MUST. When Team Clean needed to up their hourly prices by $5, we had plenty of advance notice from Candace and she was kind enough to explain where that money would be going and how it was going to help our Teamster. One time, I wanted to clean the oven so I sprayed our own oven cleaner into it the night before Duncan would be coming and then he was more than happy to wipe it out when he arrived. Then I told them you're THREE hours early, I'm not home. They claim they had an "opening" in the schedule. I wish they would have just been honest and said "we screwed up your appt time". Typically when you have an opening THREE hours earlier, you would call the customer and see if it works for them, not just drop by and start calling and knocking on the door over and over again. 3) I selected (when booking online) that I would pay with a check. I paid the cleaners with a check and they left. I just received a confusing email this morning asking about payment. VERY DISORGANIZED. The amount of time I've now spent responding to the email asking for payment (when I've already paid) and responding to my phone being blown up when they arrived hours early, the cleaning should be free. The cleaning itself, was pretty good. Although they did scuff up some of my walls and didn't bother to clean it off. But they were very nice. However I tried to explain how easily my floors scratch, and to lift items UP rather than drag to clean under it, and they didn't really understand or acknowledge what I was saying. We had them come out to clean our home for a deep clean. They did not complete a deep clean at all…read more They did not even wipe down the tables which had nothing on them. They did not vacuum or mop our hardwood floors. They did not dust any surfaces and only cleaned half of the kitchen. They then called and blamed us for the fact that they did not do more claiming we had too much dust/dirt in the home and have stains on the carpet (we have an older dog who has accidents which unfortunately have left stains but the carpet has been professionally cleaned and treated within the past week--unfortunately the stains will not come out). They made up things about our home which they told their supervisor (who was not in the home) to justify not completing the job. They now expect to be paid for the hours they were here when it honestly does not look like they did anything. When we left, they were cleaning part of the kitchen and they apparently just stopped cleaning after we left because nothing else was done other than that part of the kitchen. It seems like the crew did not want to be here cleaning or to do a deep cleaning, so they skipped out. Their website states a 100% satisfaction guarantee and that they are professional. So far they have been very unprofessional. We will see if they actually keep their guarantee. We are currently waiting for a call back from the supervisor to resolve this issue. We have had maid services before and thought this one sounded good. we have NEVER had this bad of an experience and will be going back to our previous maid service. I will update this review once I hear back from the supervisor. I hope they make it right.
