I love Wheaton College Artist Series! For 72 years, Wheaton College Artist Series has introduced…read moreits audiences to the world's best live music and dance from classical and folk traditions. This season will start with a concert presented by the acclaimed Boston Brass, a quintet of two trumpets, horn, trombone and tuba. It will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, September 23, 2022 in the new 650-seat, acoustically engineered Armerding Concert Hall located at 520 E. Kenilworth Avenue in Wheaton. I learned that Wheaton College Artist Series offers a convenient new ticketing program with a six-concert subscription and a three-concert subscription. All subscribers will receive preferred seating throughout the season, priority booking for Artist Series events, with the choice of a three- or six-concert package. Interestingly, six-concert subscribers will receive maximum savings off individual ticket prices, discounts to the Wheaton College Christmas Festival, the new Wheatie Card for discounts at local restaurants and businesses, and a discounted rate for dinner at Anderson Commons' highly-rated Bon Appetit. Please, support Wheaton College Artist Series by purchasing tickets and you will never regret you did it!

This is a well known secret in the suburbs! Wheaton College has various artists come and perform…read moreon their campus. The venue is much smaller and so is the price of your ticket! I've seen the CSO here as well as a guest conductor (Leonard Slatkin) and last night the Opole Philharmonic. I scored tickets for last night through Living Social. 2 tickets in the 8th row for $15. Even without that deal, the ticket prices are very reasonable. The place these artists perform is actually the chapel. So you will see religious signs on the wall. There really isn't much of a lobby to speak of. They do have a coat check room and restrooms, but they are VERY small (3 stalls ladies), so the lines can get long during intermission. They do not have any food or drinks available. They do open the campus dining up before an event. Before you start remembering your college food experience and shuddering, know that Wheaton College's campus food is ranked in the top 5 of all college campuses! A final note on these events. They are well attended by seniors. Don't get put off by that, they are very friendly. Towards the end of last night's performance I was holding back a cough so much it made my eyes water. The older woman next to me picked up what was going on and whipped out a few tootsie rolls and offered them to me!

Stephen stayed in touch with me for that entire year and a half, checking in on the planning process and asking how he could help. He even met with me for coffee a few months before the wedding because he wanted to be sure that he understood our vision, music tastes, etc. The dance floor was full all night. So many people came up to me afterward and commented that they had never seen such a creative DJ - his transitions between songs were so fun, and he was flexible and knew how to keep the party going. He also provided all of the sound equipment for the entire day. We played a video during the reception, and even though he wasn't responsible for the equipment, he quickly jumped in when it looked like the sound wasn't working. Honestly, there is no reason to consider using any other DJ. Backthird is the best of the best!

I manage events for a living and knew that, if I didn't have someone to do that, I would spend the night worried about the agenda. Nobody needs that on their wedding day. I came across Backthird Entertainment and these guys have weddings down. I filled out an inquiry and Robbie, my account manager, contacted me right away to discuss the details. He had great ideas about the flow of the evening and, after our discussion, he paired us up with DJ Andrew. Their online portal was super easy to use and we had the opportunity to add in all of the special events we wanted during the evening. Andrew was great about helping us coordinate everything, especially since our reception ended up being a bit of a variety show. I appreciated that Andrew and his assistant, Scott, took care of all the details. They showed up early to set up, kept us on schedule throughout the evening, and made sure to play our "must play" songs and other requests at the times requested. Robbie even made sure to follow up with me at various times throughout the process to make sure everything was going well. These guys are great and really care about their customers. They helped make my big day worry free!

It's a classy, extremely high caliber music school disguised in a humble, charming building and taught by humble charming people. Additionally, randomly, their bass teachers are also really, really, ridiculously cool. And smart. And funny?! And for some reason their rooms always smell the best?! Anyway, just my observation as someone who walked by it on the sidewalk once and definitely not the bass teacher with the essential oil diffuser (it's cedarwood oil). On a more serious (quarter) note: enrolling your kids here opens them to an extremely supportive, positive, driven community while at the same time exposes them to the highest caliber private & small group music instruction in Naperville.

It's about the The Music: you will be amazed with what the teachers at School of Rock will do with your child. We have done at least a dozen performances series, as well as private lessons, for years. Huge shot out to Adam and Sean!! It's about Teamwork: my 12 year old son practically calls School of Rock Napervillle his second home. It is truly like a family here! Great life lessons are learned behind these doors: Respect, Empathy, Team Skills, and Positive Communication and Affirmation. It's about Passion: my son has found his soul here. He now goes to his piano to wind down and release any stress. This is a life-long gift. We treasure this beyond words can say. School of Rock is a gem. I would recommend starting with a one week Summer Camp. Surely to amaze!!!
