The explanation about a "loose jack" causing the scratches is not accurate. That jack broke nearly…read more20 years ago and has been in the case ever since without ever causing damage. The previous vendor did not remove it -- he only cleaned the current one and changed strings -- so it was still installed when I brought the guitar to your shop. The scratches appeared only after this repair, and the pattern is straight, parallel, and directional. This is consistent with a capo being slid on a Parker Fly neck, which has an extremely thin finish and is very easy to scratch. It is not consistent with a small metal jack bouncing randomly in a case compartment. The case itself closes extremely tight -- tight enough that you can see the strings pressing into the lid padding. A loose jack in a plastic bag could not physically jump over the divider and wedge itself against the neck without preventing the case from closing. The idea that a two‑decade‑old jack somehow moved into the neck space is not realistic. The scratches are also located at very specific musical positions: the 5th, 7th, and 9th frets. A random loose part would not create evenly spaced marks exactly at common capo positions. That pattern is intentional movement, not accidental contact. The video does not show the moment the guitar was first removed from the case, nor the initial handling, so it cannot establish when the scratches occurred. The apprentice strumming the guitar without permission is also concerning. I did not approve of random strangers or employees playing my guitar and using a capo. Based on the timeline, the physics, the case design, and the nature of Parker Fly finishes, I stand by my review.

When I called, the staff was kind and helpful. The price for tutoring is VERY reasonable, and my son LOVES his piano teacher. We were pleasantly surprised to find a kind and accommodating sales team with nothing but options available for us to pursue. We wanted a vertical acoustic piano in black and the available stock in our price range was low. Keith (I think), recommended some other verticals in brown wood finishes, but we had our preferences. He was careful not to pressure us into anything and we ended up stumbling upon and asking about the Roland line of digital pianos. He was knowledgable and helped ease our concerns around digital versus acoustic. We ended up buying a Roland, because it met the needs of our family at the moment. Eventually, when we can move to a larger house, we'll be back here to see about getting a bigger acoustic piano! The close of the sale and the follow-up to the pick-up were pleasant experiences as well, which is why we highly recommend Pianoland!

I'm on GI Bill & retired both, so, I've plenty to spend on musical instruments. I persisted and asked about a new guitar, again. I was told I would be called back about it, again. No one got back to me, so I bought the product on Amazon. Again. Sorry guys, I tried to give you my business. It seems you didn't want it...

Aso a Great Music School for Adults!…read more I started taking voice lessons from Jennifer about two years ago. Although I had some music background, I really didn't know anything about singing and she patiently brought me from not knowing chest voice and head voice to being able to confidently sing throughout my entire range. There were times I really struggled with understanding singing and Jennifer was always patient and encouraging. And I get to spend some time each lesson working on singing any song I'd like to work on. That's fun! I play keyboards and guitar in some local bands, and sing backup, and I've gotten a lot of feedback about how much my singing has improved since I started taking lessons from Jennifer. I feel like my lessons with her are my secret weapon for getting really good at singing! I thought that music schools were mainly geared towards children, but the quality of instruction was way more than adequate for learning voice as an adult and helping me with the singing I currently do professionally. I definitely recommend the Schaumburg School of Music in general, and Jennifer in particular, to anyone who wants to learn an instrument or learn or develop their singing voice. Even people who already sing professionally!
