I am disabled and depend on mobility scooter to get anywhere out of the house. My husband decided to get a spare key cutcut since we only had one. Unfortunately, he lost the the original on the way to the shop. He was really upset and went out searching for it coming home to search the house. He couldn't find it anywhere. The gentleman from speedy shoes actually went out and searched the mall and found it! I really can not thank him enough. He also cut a second key, which fit perfectly, and cost considerably less than buying a replacement key online...which we had tried before and got a key that did not work. Thank you so much!

Like most units in the Kennedy Centre, this business has suffered with Sainsbury's acquisition of…read morethe grocery and retail unit that was formerly Curley's (Sainsbury's, in my opinion, being notably more expensive than its predecessor - see my review on Sainsbury's and the Kennedy Centre). Of course, the Kennedy Centre now has a Poundland store (whose seemingly inexorable rise and expansion is becoming something of a phenomenon) and a few other big names which, it is hoped, will bring footfall back to its former levels (I don't see that happening). Anyway, I haven't had any shoes repaired - I'm not sure how many people still get shoes repaired, although I know that women getting boots re-heeled is still a steady business - but I was in here to get a key cut. It was costing about £2.80 to get the key cut and, as the guy was cutting the key, I realised we'd be needing a few more keys in the coming months, so I asked him if he'd do four for a tenner, which he did. OK so it wasn't a huge saving, but I like places like that that will give you a bit of discount if you brassneck it. The keys were done in a matter of minutes and I was on my way. They weren't wrong about the 'speedy' bit.
