He is totally hooked now after taking this excursion! I really appreciated the personalized service both before, during and after our tour with Sea Vieques. Captain Judi was very clear and personal with her communications before our tour date. She made contact with me via e-mail at least 3 times before we even got to Vieques. This made me feel so at ease so we didn't feel like we were going to meet some stranger and go out on their boat. During our boat ride, she and Katie were so friendly and personable. Judi gave a very in-depth and enthusiastic overview of all the fish and wildlife we were going to see on our snorkel. I really appreciated this, knowing what to expect and look out for. Of course, we had a couple bonuses that she pointed out during our snorkel including a lion fish and a gigantic puffer fish! She continuously checked to make sure that all members of our snorkeling party were accounted for, comfortable and having a good experience. It's the little things that matter when taking a trip like this. We were never without a drink whether it was water, juice, soda or a fantastic and tasty pina colada! They even served these drinks in high quality cups with tops and straws so you didn't have to worry about spilling (alcohol abuse!). You can definitely tell that Captain Judi takes a lot of pride in what she does and is totally professional and fun. She has a great passion for the reef and the wildlife that is contagious! We went home and did research on some of the fish we saw this day and on other days. There was SO MUCH to see! Lunch was served after our snorkel and was delicious. I've never been on a snorkel that served food and I have to say it was such a great touch. After swimming around in the water, we were definitely hungry! On the way back, we took advantage of the ride on the front of the catamaran on the "trampoline" up front and had a BLAST! Overall, totally great experience. We couldn't have asked for a better day out on the boat with such a great tour company and host!

She's very passionate about snorkeling and accompanied us the whole way through, guiding us to the best spots and providing a ton of education about the reefs and all of the creatures that live within them. She kept an eye on all of us (small group only 4!) and was super-vigilant about making sure our masks were on right and weren't fogging. She also carries a whistle that you can hear underwater and would call us over for any particularly cool fish she spotted. We saw 2 huge (HUGE) puffer fish amongst a ton of other good stuff. Lunch was delicious and so were the home made pina coladas. I would go again in a heartbeat.

I called them before I left Houston Texas. I called them when I arrived in Saint Thomas. They said everything was good. 30 minutes before. I'm supposed to meet the captain. They secretary call me and cancel the trip. What's very suspicious is they didn't know that. I rented a condominium that overlook the boat slip. 24 that the secretary told me I was supposed to meet. The captain woke up very early, and I watched him scurry out of the marina with the boat. The next three hours I asked questions with very conflicting stories. Everybody had a different story. I smell a rat. I smell a liar. Do not book a trip with these people. They are liars.

Tyler was phenomenal and grandpa had the best time. They brought in 14 amazing fish and he got them grill-ready fast! As it often happens in the Caribbean, the skies looked lovely and clear and off we went for a sail. The moment we anchored where we were to eat lunch with the crew it seemed like a hurricane came down on us. It was so ridiculous that we all just burst into laughter and jumped in the water to make jokes while the downpour went over us. All this to say that they just figured out a way to turn something which could have potentially been terrible into a funny adventure. We laughed so hard that our faces hurt when we came back to land. They were lovely, the food was amazing, and their attitudes awesome. I would highly recommend them for a nice morning sail, and if you have a good sense of humor, prepare to laugh HARD! We will definitely be calling on them for our next trip into Vieques.

We were shuttled to and from the site by a funny great driver. Once there we were met by two informative guys who led us to our boats. They explained the process, gave us life jackets and oars. They helped us wade to our kayaks in pairs and off we went. One guy led in front, the other stayed in back. We quickly got to a spot and played with the water to trigger the bioluminescence. As the night progressed, the "glow" was better. Movement causes the glow so contrary to some pics, it's not always glowing unless you cause it. Unfortunately we didn't see any fish or turtles. Our guide Jake explained a lot of the history/makeup of the bay. He handled our questions effectively. I didn't get any pictures as they discourage cameras/phones and also say they capturing the images is difficult. I so wish I had gotten a pic of my husband and I either in the kayak or at least with our oars...We were sad it was over-what a great experience!

The prescription snorkling goggles were life changing. On our trip we saw a sea turtle and lots of coral reef activity! This was a highlight of our trip. Capt Juan Carlos Torruella of Extreme Fishing PR. I emailed him for dates and rates, he was fast to respond and easy to schedule. Nothing complicated as easy as it should be. We scheduled a 4hr (2 to 6pm) trip. The day could have not been more perfect. As we departed on our trip the Captain was more than helpful in explaining what we should expect. They are competent, fun, and go to great lengths to make sure you're really comfortable with every aspect of diving. Even if you're kind of terrified by the idea of breathing underwater (what? It's scary!), you'll feel safe in their very capable hands. I went for PADI Open Water Diver certification with a group of 9 friends, all of whom had different levels of experience and comfort with diving. Arnaud, Tania, Shauna, and Carlito put us at ease right away with their easy-going yet professional attitude - all of us got plenty of personal attention, and they made sure we really learned and understood everything and didn't rush us through the exercises, even though we got a late start (our fault) on the first day. It's a lot of work over 3 pretty long days, but they kept it fun by joking around and telling us cool things about the island, and my husband (who had actually done open water certification before, but never mailed in his info to get the card) said they were much more thorough than the last outfit he did it with - important, when it comes to little things like being able to breathe! These guys, and particularly Tania, deserve some sort of medal for the way they handled me. I have tiny, crappy lungs and a healthy fear of the ocean, and after screwing up an exercise and gulping a bunch of water at 16' I declared myself DONE with scuba forever (even though Tania got a cleared regulator into my mouth so I could breathe almost instantly). When I didn't come back the next day, they pulled my husband aside and offered to work one-on-one with me to help me overcome my fear and get my SCUBA Diver Certification, which is kind of like Open Water Lite (you can dive up to 40 feet, with a guide). They could have easily just taken my money and walked, but they were genuinely invested in seeing me succeed. Tania worked one-on-one with me and was SO patient and kind: I had a freak-out almost as soon as I went under and she got me calmed down, had me practice surface skills, and then just swam around with me underwater and pointed out fish and turtles along the reef until I was comfortable enough to practice skills again. She has an incredibly nurturing, comforting vibe that comes across even underwater, and by the end of the day I was totally chilled out and excited about diving...a far cry from the hyperventilating mess who first entered the water! I honestly thought I would never dive again, but after working with Tania I actually ended up going back to finish up my Open Water Certification - with Isla Nena Scuba, of course!
