Captain Judi, and our experience with Sea Vieques, were really nothing short of amazing! I have…read morebeen snorkeling countless times and my boyfriend has only been a handful of times. He is totally hooked now after taking this excursion! I really appreciated the personalized service both before, during and after our tour with Sea Vieques. Captain Judi was very clear and personal with her communications before our tour date. She made contact with me via e-mail at least 3 times before we even got to Vieques. This made me feel so at ease so we didn't feel like we were going to meet some stranger and go out on their boat. During our boat ride, she and Katie were so friendly and personable. Judi gave a very in-depth and enthusiastic overview of all the fish and wildlife we were going to see on our snorkel. I really appreciated this, knowing what to expect and look out for. Of course, we had a couple bonuses that she pointed out during our snorkel including a lion fish and a gigantic puffer fish! She continuously checked to make sure that all members of our snorkeling party were accounted for, comfortable and having a good experience. It's the little things that matter when taking a trip like this. We were never without a drink whether it was water, juice, soda or a fantastic and tasty pina colada! They even served these drinks in high quality cups with tops and straws so you didn't have to worry about spilling (alcohol abuse!). You can definitely tell that Captain Judi takes a lot of pride in what she does and is totally professional and fun. She has a great passion for the reef and the wildlife that is contagious! We went home and did research on some of the fish we saw this day and on other days. There was SO MUCH to see! Lunch was served after our snorkel and was delicious. I've never been on a snorkel that served food and I have to say it was such a great touch. After swimming around in the water, we were definitely hungry! On the way back, we took advantage of the ride on the front of the catamaran on the "trampoline" up front and had a BLAST! Overall, totally great experience. We couldn't have asked for a better day out on the boat with such a great tour company and host!

She's very passionate about snorkeling and accompanied us the whole way through, guiding us to the best spots and providing a ton of education about the reefs and all of the creatures that live within them. She kept an eye on all of us (small group only 4!) and was super-vigilant about making sure our masks were on right and weren't fogging. She also carries a whistle that you can hear underwater and would call us over for any particularly cool fish she spotted. We saw 2 huge (HUGE) puffer fish amongst a ton of other good stuff. Lunch was delicious and so were the home made pina coladas. I would go again in a heartbeat.

WOW. myself and 6 of my girlfriends booked this excursion as part of the Bachelorette festivities…read morethat brought us to PR in the first place. Buying our tickets and getting all the info we needed before our experience was a breeze. We all felt confident headed into the trip. Finding the harbor was equally easy. Now onboard the boat is really what earns this a 5 star review. And even more specifically, our guides are the real 5 stars. Oscar, Eric, Thalia, Naty are THE crew you want to go on a trip with. Each were so kind, so accommodating, and contributed to making these memories last a life time. Of course, they highly emphasized safety as well. During our snorkling we saw sea turtles, tons of fish, and even saw a dolphin at Icacos (apparently they're a regular!) The food was delicious, shout out to the chef! Exactly what you want to eat when you've been in the sun and water all day. Filling, delicious, but not heavy. Drinks were good and generous. Alcoholic and non alcohol available for everyone's taste. Everyone agreed this was their favorite activity and we also ziplined at Toro Verde and did the bioluminescent bay kayaking in Fajardo (also great experiences, but this was just THAT GREAT).

Safe harbor is about an hour from San Juan. We booked a van to get there. However I think there…read moremaybe buses as well. No shoes on the boat, but you can still bring them with you, just got to keep them in your bag. There are two levels, the second being smaller, I believe they said that they can accommodate up to 50 people maybe, but 29 of us packed it really tight. You get a safety briefing. The staff is bi-lingual, energetic, and funny. For my plus size peeps, this is a size friendly excursion. The stairs are big enough to get in and out and they will get your floating safety belt on that body, comfortably. They do sanitize the gear right in front of you, but they also don't require you use the mask and fins. They also give this homemade delicious lunch & of course, drinks with rum. You snorkel for an hour and then spend time at the beach for an hour. If you get motion sickness, take it prior and you should be fine. Would definitely go into the sea with this crew again. *captain featured in the second picture! Thanks for getting us there and back safely captain

It's hard finding a decent boating charter in PR. First off many of them don't have websites and…read morethey never answer their phone or reply back to emails. Rest assured when you call this number is goes directly to the owner whose name is Luis. Luis is amazing and awesome family guy. His entire business is ran by himself, wife, and 3 sons. He drives the boat's, wife drives the vans with her son's. And if you really want to experience the nightlife and local off the beat places offer the eldest son some additional money for his time and he will take to all the best places in OSJ and PR in his crappy car (he also owns a brand new Toyota, but the problem is there is a huge problem of theft in PR so his Toyota which isn't considered a luxury car here on the mainland is considered a high theft car in PR). We bought the $75 package and it was worth it. I would have paid much more for the service he provided. WHY? Well to get to Culebra or Viques you have to take a Ferry ($5 ticket) or fly private. You can buy tickets online but you have the danger of them being refunded VERY LAST MINUTE (this happened to us twice) and you're out of luck. I had no idea what I was going to do since I had planned all this scuba diving and snorkeling for my girlfriend's birthday and the only way to get tickets is to go there and stand in a VERY LONG LINE at 5AM! I called Luis and they send someone to do this for you. Then he sends you a text with a picture that he has them. When you get to Culebra finally you have to walk to the best restaurant on the water I have ever experienced (MAMACITAS review coming soon). It's pink building and doesn't look like much in the front. Then you go to the back! OMG! Tiki bar, clear blue water, boats drive up, awesome food and drinks....PARADISE! This is where you get picked up from and he takes to heaven. We requested a private beach, and he also took us to a deserted restaurant in the middle of the ocean. It was truly very inspirational! He lets you take beer with you and also takes you to a grocery store along the way to get beer, food, and anything else you need. The boat just pulls up and you jump off, do some shopping and jump back in. Luis and his family hands down give you that personal touch!

SeaCulebra - ABSOLUTELY amazing expereince. 8 stars out of 5 stars!

BEST THING TO DO IN PUERTO RICO!!!!…read more This is not my first time to Culebra or Culebrita but this is the BEST things to do in Puerto Rico. PERIOD! Let's say I am an avid traveler and planner but this experience was 8 STARS our of 5 stars for me. So off the chart AMAZING! My boyfriend and I wanted to do a date in Culebra but we did not expect this level or service and hospitality. Can not be found anywhere else in Puerto Rico (trust me, I looked & tried). Captain Camillo and first mate Danny was such incredible host that we thought we were on our honeymoon (seriously, tooo romantic). HOW IT WORK: 1. Pre-trip communication was surprisingly detailed and prompt. Will help you with how to get to Culebra. I.E. Ferry tickets. Very accommodating on start time. Camillo gave us great recommendation where I wanted to visit. 2. TRANSPORTATION IS NOT INCLUDED but Camillo went out of his way and picked us up from the airport since we didn't rent a golf-cart so we were very grateful for his kindness. Please don't expect transportation because of this review. 3. Meet up point was in a central area. Easy to find. Right next to the restaurant El Navegante. Have dinner there after your trip. 4. The crew greeted us with a plate of fresh fruits, cheese, and deli meat. So luxurious~ 5. Took a short ride to Playa Tortuga in Culebrita where the water was so clear like swimming in a pool. Brought out the Bose speaker to set the mood. 6. We started to float in the water while the crew set up the beach chairs and umbrella for us. They brought the cheese plate, Bose speakers, drinks, and our phones via Kayak to the beach for us! That was so wonderful because last time we had to do it ourselves via Water Taxi. We felt so spoiled. 7. FRESH & HOT lunch! They grilled delicious shrimp and chicken on the boat for us. Paired with an amazing gourmet salad and asparagus. Don't forget to take pictures because it was so romantic. (last time I went on a Catamaran to Culebra, they gave us cold sandwiches) Probably the best meal I had in Culebra. 8. Camillo took us on a adventure via kayak that's included on our trip to the water pool near by. (I had to pay for a snorkeling tour separated last time so this was a definitely worth the money to book with Sea Culebra). Camillo took us on a snorkeling tour and we got to swim with turtles and saw a stingray. We both can't swim but with a life vest, Camillo gave us the confidence to explore these beautiful water. 9. Also included water a SUP board, floaties, kayaks, snorkeling gears and anything you'll need to lounge or exploring. And we LOUNGED! We will NEVER come back to Culebrita without booking with Sea Culebra again because it cost more and took a lot of time to logistically plan all the activities you should be doing in Culebra. Despite the unforgettable memories we made in Culebrita, we made friends with the crew that made the experience more memorable. BEST MOMENTS: 1. Made friends with crew 2. Greeted us with fruit platter 3. Fresh, hot lunch 4. Set up camp for us with everything we need (Bose speaker, beach chairs, snacks, drinks, phones, sunscreens, towels, floaties). We literally didn't lift a finger. 5. Included snorkeling and kayak adventure tours lead by Camillo. 6. The passion and love of nature from the crew made us fell in love with Culebrita 7. Allowed us to have quality time with each other I found them on TripAdvisor but directly booking with them will help small businesses! #smallbusiness

Besides being a hilarious raconteur and keeping us entertained the whole time, Captain Felix knows some of the best snorkeling spots around the outer cays.
