They have cool photos of diving patents in the office.

One of the best reasons to visit Vieques. Ask for Erica. She is AMAZING! My son obtained his certification from her and she was very knowledgeable, kind and thorough. I can't thank them enough for their time with him.

Our bio bay tour was amazing! They told us to expect little bioluminescence because of the storms, but we ended up finding an area with 100%! Christy and Cuba were amazing guides, teaching us about the stars and the bay. JJ drove us through the crazy island terrain safely. We also did the shore dives with Haley. She was very knowledgable and made us feel very comfortable. Overall awesome experience! They also have cool merch!

Erica, our divemaster was the best. I would highly recommend this dive shop when traveling to Vieques.

I highly recommend these guys for diving on Vieques, especially if you or anyone in your group is…read morenew to scuba or kind of freaked out by it. They are competent, fun, and go to great lengths to make sure you're really comfortable with every aspect of diving. Even if you're kind of terrified by the idea of breathing underwater (what? It's scary!), you'll feel safe in their very capable hands. I went for PADI Open Water Diver certification with a group of 9 friends, all of whom had different levels of experience and comfort with diving. Arnaud, Tania, Shauna, and Carlito put us at ease right away with their easy-going yet professional attitude - all of us got plenty of personal attention, and they made sure we really learned and understood everything and didn't rush us through the exercises, even though we got a late start (our fault) on the first day. It's a lot of work over 3 pretty long days, but they kept it fun by joking around and telling us cool things about the island, and my husband (who had actually done open water certification before, but never mailed in his info to get the card) said they were much more thorough than the last outfit he did it with - important, when it comes to little things like being able to breathe! These guys, and particularly Tania, deserve some sort of medal for the way they handled me. I have tiny, crappy lungs and a healthy fear of the ocean, and after screwing up an exercise and gulping a bunch of water at 16' I declared myself DONE with scuba forever (even though Tania got a cleared regulator into my mouth so I could breathe almost instantly). When I didn't come back the next day, they pulled my husband aside and offered to work one-on-one with me to help me overcome my fear and get my SCUBA Diver Certification, which is kind of like Open Water Lite (you can dive up to 40 feet, with a guide). They could have easily just taken my money and walked, but they were genuinely invested in seeing me succeed. Tania worked one-on-one with me and was SO patient and kind: I had a freak-out almost as soon as I went under and she got me calmed down, had me practice surface skills, and then just swam around with me underwater and pointed out fish and turtles along the reef until I was comfortable enough to practice skills again. She has an incredibly nurturing, comforting vibe that comes across even underwater, and by the end of the day I was totally chilled out and excited about diving...a far cry from the hyperventilating mess who first entered the water! I honestly thought I would never dive again, but after working with Tania I actually ended up going back to finish up my Open Water Certification - with Isla Nena Scuba, of course!

What I wasn't happy about was the dysfunctional crew, the two deckhands did not seem to be regulars. The captain blamed our poor fishing on the weeds in the water, which i understand, but let me tell you something: I speak Spanish. Hearing the deckhands talk about how the captain didn't know what he was doing, pretty much summed it up for me. When my girlfriend hooked into a big fish, only to have the rod bend and the line just SNAP without any line coming out by the drag, was just disappointing. I asked the captain about the drag, and he started yelling at the deckhands. Telling me "I'll check the damned drags myself". Great, only, he never did. He didn't know where his gear was, he didn't have any contingency plan if there were weeds in the water. At one point one of the rods was set up after snapping the line, and upon closer inspection, you could see that the deckhand had missed an eye on the rod. Hadn't run the line through it. Terrible. I think anybody who knew the water a little better would know to go a bit more offshore, or to stay closer to the dropoff to stay out of the weeds, but Captain just stayed the course, pushing us farther and farther along the coast, without ever trying different depths or switching up the technique. Hell, bottom fishing would have been more fun. I feel like there were definitely fish in the water, we hooked up probably 6 or 7 times, only to lose them all. All we caught were one barracuda, and the two Yellowtail snapper. I am stoked I caught a fish in the Caribbean, but no more than if I had caught bait off a pier. The whole experience was a little gross too. The seats were dirty, the lunch consisted of a soggy, wet ham sandwich, and the snacks were old. Captain was a mess, the deckhands were sketchy at best, and I really feel like I'll spend my money elsewhere next time.

Tell me why the day before the event in Tortola I from the departure was be at 5:30 PM instead of 7 PM I booked no problem ended up leaving St. Thomas to go to Tortola. Departure time 5:30 when these people did not arrive until almost 6 PM to check in., checking in with a little confusing, anyways, we ended up departing on our way arrived BVI and was asked to present our passport and the form that we filled out departure time where I booked was supposed to be 3 AM from Tortola back to St. Thomas, why did the person who worked on the boat? change the time seconds after passport in form was presented saying that we have to be back on the dock by 5 AM instead of 3 AM bear in did not get back to St. Thomas Virgin Islands until 8:30 in the morning, so they dropped us off in Tortola BVI and did not up to their bargain. We were all stranded, cold and hungry. If I were you, I would never book with this company.
