BUYER BEWARE We…read morepurchased a custom Ford Grill (2009-2013 FORD F150 A-I Main Grille w/ Light Bar $495 to be exact) from Ablaze Grilles in October of this year (2016). When we did not receive it by the time that they stated in the e-mail, Nuvia informed us that it had not shipped and she would be sending it via 2-day mail for the error. In the meantime, we had begun to have issues with our truck and decided to trade it in, so we no longer needed the grill which is still in its original shipping box. We then requested a return for the item (even within 30 days) and I notified Ablaze Grilles that the box was unopened. When we received the e-mail back from Nuvia about our return, who based on their website is in charge of "Shipping/Receiving, New Customer Account", she stated, "There is a 25% restocking fee, grille has to be in new, sellable conditions. If grille has been installed or has minor wear, it will be subjected to 30% restocking fee. Please be sure to ship your grille as much protected as possible to avoid shipping and handling damage." That's a $148 restocking fee on top of the $50 return shipping fee! To my dismay, I went on their website and looked back at all e-mail transactions of the purchase and return transactions to look for their return policy. No disclosure about a 25% restocking fee was ANYWHERE to be found. After taking photos of their website, I e-mailed back and asked her if she could provide me with the refund/restocking fee disclosure location. Nuvia responds, "Please send me pictures of the item you are returning so I can submit a waiver. https://ablazegrilles.com/contact-us.html". So, we did. We sent the pictures and she responds, "Thank you for the pictures. I got the approval from the owner to waive the re-stocking fee to 20%". Web.archive.org uses technology to go back to prior versions of the website, below is proof of the day we requested the disclosure is when the website changed to the new information. http://web.archive.org/web/*/https://ablazegrilles.com/contact-us.html If you're waiving my fee, that does NOT mean 5%... I asked her to send me the owner's contact information to speak with them because it is against the law to charge a restocking fee when it is not disclosed anywhere. I have not heard back from them in 5 days, I sent another reminder today to speak with the owner. My goal is to educate the consumers to be careful with this company. They have been flying under the radar for 8 years and cannot be found on any other website. I did find them on https://www.bizapedia.com/ca/ablaze-grilles-inc.html, which their filing status stated suspended, when I contacted bizapedia via e-mail to inquire what suspended actually meant, the status miraculously also changed to active. Coincidence? I don't think so. @ablazegrilles

Turns out I didn't need to install them until Sept 2016 with 49,500. Since I hadn't checked them in a few yrs, I decided to do an inspection last week. I was shocked when I took the calipers off. Both rear ceramic brake pads basically disintegrated in my hands. The pads separated from the metal backing plates as well as the ceramic pad itself was cracked in several places & then broke apart when I barely touched them. I couldn't believe it. I've done so many brake jobs in my 66 yrs. on my cars as well as my kids & friends, I've NEVER, EVER seen this before. The pads have 12,000 miles on them & the car currently has 61,650 miles on it. My wife is one of those drivers who abuses nothing - you can see that because the vast majority of the pad still remains. I could never recommend these pads to anyone except enemies! I didn't contact iRotor as I'm sure I'd be told to go away due to the length of time which is total BS. The rotors seem to be OK so I only replaced the pads. I typically replace both at the same time but not in this case w only 12k on the rotors.
