The hotel is only about 300 meters from the old town. Our room was comfortable and the hotel was clean and modern. It was a good location for our visit to Füssen and the surrounding area. Breakfast was not included with our stay, which was a little disappointing. They do offer a breakfast buffet, but it is an additional charge. The hotel is also pet friendly, which is always something we appreciate! Dogs are allowed for an additional nightly fee. Also hotel has AC! Overall, a comfortable and conveniently located hotel for exploring Füssen. We would stay here again, especially for the easy walk into the old town.

It's located in the town of Schwangau and you can see the Neuschwanstein Castle from the balconies on many of the rooms. It's quite a picturesque view and a lovely area. The hotel has about 54 rooms and two restaurants a bar and wellness center. The staff are very nice here and the rooms are also nice. Breakfast is included and it was a nice assortment of choices that were well prepared. The bar is also very nice with a great list of cocktails and the bar tender here makes his own schnapps which are to die for :-) amazing hazelnut schnapps homemade. Our rooms were nice and comfortable with all the facilities you would expect including a nice bag for the use of the wellness center including towels and so on. If you forget your bathing suit they do have some you can borrow. All in all a lovely experience and I would come back here again.

The rooms were well-maintained and everything from the bed to the bathroom was pristine. One aspect that really impressed me was the front desk staff. They arranged castle tour tickets for us. Just ask at check in and they will have them for you the next morning. As for transportation, getting to the castle was easy. Either walk, take the bus, or a horse and carriage ride. Just a heads-up, the horse and carriage only accepts cash. Unfortunately, the hotel's ATM was out of order during our stay, but there was one located close to the ticket booth. Also, I recommend making the short drive to Füssen. It's a charming spot with little shops, good food, and great views of the mountains.
