I debated 4 stars or 5. I'm doin 5. This place is special, I can tell. It's a local spot. But still inviting enough for a traveler. And I like that. Very cool dive feel when you walk in, with the bar and pool table, money hanging from the walls. But as you walk to the back it opens up to the water with a beautiful backdrop of the lagoon. Very very cool. With the outside bar and live music, it's pretty neat. I really enjoyed myself here. Service was prompt, and friendly. I was greeted from the moment I walked in. I like that. We ordered some food (we were starving) and I want to give the cooks a compliment on the chicken caesar wrap, it was surprisingly very well made. I wasn't expecting much but great job! It is like a small dive bar cover right on the waterfront. We had the shrimp there and it was excellent. We ate there twice during our trip if that tells you anything. The staff was less professional and quick. Would definitely recommend. read more

This place is a hidden gem! The view is amazing. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was great, I got a shrimp basket. Seating area was nice and spacious. I went on a Friday night with friends. Main lot is small but there is parking around the corner as well like an overflow lot. Pricing is very reasonable. Despite going on a very hot day, it was comfortable with the sea breeze and fans. Fillin' station has some of the best views in Beaufort. We love the no-frills, easy-going atmosphere. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating but we will never pass up an opportunity to sit outside with the live music and amazing views. We love going on Wednesday for the five dollar burger and fry deal. The parking lot is fairly small so we actually park in a little lot right down the road. It is a short walk. You can enter through the front door or a walk-in area to the left of the building that curves around the back. There is a walk up window where you can place your order, and they will give you a fob that vibrates when your food is ready. There are mixed drinks, local beer, Craft, beer, cider's, and more. I have heard that the Sunday brunch is amazing. We will need to try it out! read more

We think they keep the two port a potty's in the front to keep tourists away. You might second guess coming here based on the outside but it's a hidden gem. They have an amazing outdoor area overlooking the water. The only food they have is fried but the fried shrimp and fish basket was pretty good and a decent price. Worth the stop! The outside is not the most appealing but once you step out back with the great view, you'll understand. The crab cakes/balls are worth the stop alone. The crab balls are just smaller versions of the crab cakes. We ordered the basket with redfish, shrimp, and crab cake as well as shrimp tacos. It comes with fries and slaw.
