This feedback is long overdue. We started FIIT60 a little longer than one year ago, we have become a lot better in terms of strength, mobility and flexibility. We feel healthier than ever before. FIIT 60 is a great gym! What I love about it is the structure. Everything is done with purpose. Just signed up for unlimited membership classes here! I've always wanted to try fitness classes but was intimidated by it. When FIIT60 opened up right next to my house, my boyfriend encouraged me to stop by and talk to Mike and check out the program. I was able to try 2 of his free classes before the grand opening and really enjoyed it. Mike is a great trainer, he will make you feel comfortable especially if you're new to fitness. Really glad Mike opened up his own place. He is a great trainer who understands the small details of each movement and will work with you on getting it right to maximize benefit and minimize injury. I used to go to another gym where he trained and really enjoyed working out with him. Now not only is he the trainer but he is also creating his own curriculum which is more heavily focused on strength training, resistance training, mobility + vs just high doses of cardio with weights sprinkled in. Never been one to enjoy hit body workout classes such as this. I've always been too nervous or embarrassed because of my bad form but I am now taking two classes and I can say that I am hooked! Fiit 60 does a great job welcoming all levels to group fitness type of classes. I have a few limitations that Mike is always careful to work around whether it is my back, wrists, or knees. I feel like he has been able to give me 1:1 attention in the group setting to correct uses of improper form. I have never been good at working out consistently and my previous attempts never lasted for more than a couple weeks. I initially decided to try FIIT60 with a simple goal of improving my running which I had recently started. 5 months into the program at FIIT60, not only have Mike and Damaris transformed me into the fittest I have ever felt, but also helped maintain my motivation level and consistency. I followed him around Orange Theory's sometime back (because he really is the best of the best) and I was excited when he opened his own studio. He promotes personal training at group training cost, and that's accurate. Mike is very attentive and patient. I'm super needy since I've gotten out of shape and I'm uncoordinated, but he always helps to make sure form is on point, you're doing things correctly, and getting the most of the workout. He plays great music and his studio is really top notch. Very clean and great equipment. He really cares about his clients and it shows, which is why he's had such a great following. I cannot emphasize enough how great of a fitness coach Mike is. He has a great eye for form and a little tweak makes a big difference. He understands your limitation and push you right to the extent that you could do without demotivating you. He prioritizes correct form to avoid injury over being too aggressive in the beginning. I lacked strength and hated lifting weights. After training with Mike for couple months at a different center, I already felt a big difference in my strength.
