Our family adores Figment. It's unlike anywhere else we've been. They have SO many sensory activities for our 2 year old. A water bin, play dough, paint, rice bin. They have an insane selection of toys. Cars, musical instruments, trucks, dolls, pretend food. They have an outside area with a beautiful playhouse, chalk, the coolest trampoline I've ever seen, and giant blocks. The endless activities aren't the only thing that sets figment apart. The teachers there are so kind and happily play with the kiddos. Lastly, and probably my favorite part of this place, there's so many animals! They've got cats, goats, a guinea pig, a bunny, a tortoise (I think lol), and birds. My son always puts up a fight to leave! Figment is our favorite place to go when we don't know what to do. I do wish they had memberships available. We'd sign up in a heartbeat. read more

Y'all! I cannot say enough good things about this place. It is a magical place where children of all ages come to create, explore, express, and learn through art and play. We have attended the toddler group several times. There are several different activities set up and the children can pick their preferred activity. This really fosters independence in a safe environment. All the activities are fun sensory activities that are very intentional for language learning and development. The best part is the different animals. There are three miniature goats that are very gentle with the children and very mischievous too. There is also Lizzo the lizard, a bunny, some hamsters, chickens, and Origami the cat. The staff is phenomenal and very encouraging and loving with the children. There are different classes for different age groups and there is an option to have an art teacher come to your home and do some activities with your child. I recommend this to anyone who has a child that is looking for fun, safe, educational, and exciting activities! read more

We have nothing but great things to say about Figment! From Toddler Playgroup on Tuesdays and Thursdays, to my son's birthday party, and now summer camp for my 4 year old, Figment is magical. Two staff members ran the event from start to finish and kept a rambunctious group of boys and girls entertained the entire time. WE LOVE FIGMENT, we have been going to Figment for camps and birthday parties since my little boy was 3 (he is now 8!) we love how thoughtful and creative this place is and I LOVE all the cute pets she has for the children to cuddle or learn about caring for them. I started Wee Warhols (now Figment Creative Labs) out of my garage in 2013. I was doing process art and sensory play with my boys, then 2 and 3yrs old, and was encouraged by friends to share that experience with other kids. I love watching kids experiment and learn through play. They always amaze me with their creativity and sense of wonder. The business has evolved over the years as my boys have grown. I started adding STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) to make sure they were constantly being challenged and engaged. Had my 4 year old son's birthday here and everything was wonderful! I have been many times for toddler play group with my 2 year old, but the birthday party experience was perfect. The support team was great - anticipated needs, helped with setup, made sure everything was seamless. The combination of a beautiful outdoor space, an indoor space with endless craft projects and toys, and the live animals made it a kids (and adults!) dream. Would recommend to anyone! read more

I will admit, my kid used to go to school here before it became Figment, so she's always just sprinted towards the entrance gate. But I also think it has to do with how much fun this place is! We've been to multiple birthday parties here and each is a blast. There are activities going on in each room (and outdoors) so you could come to a birthday party each week and have a different experience. There is everything from feeding chickens, to rolling out dough, to painting, to sensory sand, legos, water beads, and so much more. (Just cruise through the pictures here -endless fun!) I have also done the day camps they offer for random AISD off days, and my daughter just loves it. She comes home covered in paint and glitter and dough and dirt under her nails, and exhausted - and HAPPY. She's only three but they've made biscuits, a dream catcher, finger puppets... She LOVES "art camp." I work FT but wish I could take advantage of the daytime options; I think the Creative Pre-K and Homeschool sessions are an amazing deal (you couldn't get a sitter for the hourly rate) and I'm telling you, your little one will adore this place. I wish they had some after-school or weekend offerings but I know they are growing. (I also want to do an adult art night! Not quite as risque as it sounds, but I know it'd be fun!) Figment has been my son's preschool for the past 2 years. What an absolutely magical, kind, safe place. We will miss it dearly when he goes to kindergarten in the fall. It has been absolutely incredible for his self confidence, socialization & creativity. He is excited to go every single day and has made wonderful friends. This place blew me away and exceeded my expectations. It is a huge space with many different rooms and options including both indoor and outdoor spaces, live animals, crafts, art. They provided all the serving dishes, plates, cups, cake platters, cooler, etc for the party. They came up with a custom take home craft for the kids based on the party theme (rainbow fairy). The owners helped set up, managed the kids, led the craft, and helped clean up. The kids loved it and parents did too. read more

Wow, what a wonderful experience we had today (01/30/2016) at Wee Warhols as they hosted DSACT for a morning of fun and art. From the street you may be a little confused, because for all intents and purposes this is a (beautiful) house. But the living quarters are in the back, and the garage and open area is where all of the fun happens. I'm not much of an artist, but they had a TON of activities and tables setup for the kids to do all kinds of fun stuff. And if they get bored of the art, then there is a great swing hanging from a old tree that you can swing from, a play kitchen, kids work bench, etc. The instructor (Amber) had a shockingly good memory and (as far as I saw) remembered the names off all the children. Amber and her assistant were fun, kind, and patient - everything you would want from adults working with kids - especially kids with special needs. If they had cooler of beer, I would have stayed all day. Everyone was having good time and no one wanted to leave. We'll be back. read more

We grateful to Amber and her staff for providing a memorable birthday party for our 6 yo! We received many compliments from our guests for the creative curation of events, as well as the lovely space. The environment was warm and inviting with a beautiful green courtyard, outdoor living room areas, with lovely oak trees. The partygoers enjoyed a variety of experiences and somehow Amber was able to lead our 16 kids through individual art projects, lunch, and collaborative painting. I watched the kids experience pure joy at a place that seamlessly builds a sense of community. Lastly, We had brought coffee, bagels and spread for the parents so we were able to have a slip in a morning happy hour as well. What a great find in our neighborhood for events! My three year old son adores Wee Warhols. As do I. I've had him in classes since he was 2.5. And he has thrived. I love that I can just drop him off for two or three hours and he will be well loved and cared for, artistically/mentally stimulated , and happy. I had him in summer camp last July. He loved it so much I put him in August. Then signed up for the weekly sessions. And haven't stopped. I am astonished at what Amber comes up with week to week. She never disappoints. And she is wonderful with the kids. Open, encouraging, compassionate and fun. The classes not only nurture the artistic side of the child but also dabble in science, architecture and self awareness. fOr example: science experimenting (color mixing, making play dough, planting their own succulents and herbs in pots they have decorated) self awareness (they did self portraits using a hand held mirror and made puppets of themselves) architecture (they built 3d cities in one class and robots in another from recycle materials) She also offers amazing themed workshops. My son has done the Xmas, valentines day, Presidents' Day, MLK day and spring break. Highly recommend it read more

My 3.5 year-old loved going to art camp...all of the art projects were well suited for her age, the teachers were amazing, the studio/classroom was clean and very kid-friendly, classes were small and I loved how they posted lots of pictures on their Facebook page so you would see all of the fun they were having every day! My son Jack loves Wee Warhols art classes! He goes every Wednesday and can't wait to get there. Amber is so creative and Jack always comes home with so many different art projects. Drop off and pick up are extremely easy and Amber and the other teachers are wonderful. I would have to say this is Jack's most favorite activity every week. I cannot recommend Figment enough. If only every child could experience the magic of Amber and her crew, and see the gorgeous new campus on Brodie. It's so light and bright and colorful -- I wanted to stay! My 6 year old daughter attended camp this past summer for several weeks. The experience brought joy to our entire family. Our primary goal was for her to have fun, but it was also exciting to see her art skills develop over the months she took classes.
