This was extremely frustrating. If it's called a 3-month commitment, it's reasonable to expect that it ends after three months--not that it automatically rolls into another month unless you cancel 30 days in advance. Before I signed the agreement, Noah, their representative briefly went over the terms, but the 30-day cancellation notice was never explained. That detail should have been emphasized, especially since it directly affects billing. Overall, this felt misleading and disappointing. Transparency about cancellation policies is important, especially when customers are making a financial commitment.

I'm visiting family here in North Carolina and came by this location with my fiancé. I'm a paying member based in California and didn't realize my membership didn't include out of state access. When I scanned in, the guy at the front desk immediately asked if I was from here. I explained that I was just visiting, but instead of offering help or explaining options, he was rude, dismissive, and made no effort to assist. There was no explanation, no attempt to offer a guest pass, upgrade, or even a basic welcome. He simply turned us away, without care. I even called my home gym in California, and their manager was very kind and understanding. They said that this location could have offered a courtesy pass but when I brought it up, the staff here, especially the manager Daniel, refused and acted like I didn't matter. It was honestly one of the most unwelcoming gym experiences I've ever had. To compare after leaving LA Fitness, I went to Planet Fitness nearby, and guess what? I'm not even a member there, but they gladly welcomed me in, offered me a free guest pass, and treated me with kindness and respect. Their staff was professional and accommodating, something this LA Fitness location seriously lacks. I've always had great experiences at my home LA Fitness in California, where staff are helpful and friendly. But this Raleigh location made me feel disrespected, unimportant, and embarrassed. I wasn't trying to get in for free I would've upgraded on the spot if someone had just taken a moment to explain. Instead, I was kicked out like I wasn't even a member. Really upsetting experience. LA Fitness corporate should be aware of how this location treats loyal members from out of state.

Due to my challenging travel schedule, I no longer required the annual gym membership and notified corporate and their staff of the cancellation. But that is when things got ugly. Received text messages and unauthorized credit card charges. In fact, they recently attempted to run $300 for non-existing training services. It feels like they either hope you don't notice or you don't care. If this is true, it is unprofessional and illegal. I am not the only one who has gripes with O2, check out other platform reviews. I found there to be fewer people. My normal location (Morrisville) has high traffic throughout the entire week even on Saturdays. My workout was nice here. My trainer is Ciaran , who has been an incredible teacher. After the first day, I felt more comfortable about coming to train. Ciaran is very patient, guiding me through this process , taking notes as to my ability, always giving positive feedback in my progress. His attitude and ability to train someone like myself (over the age of 60!) has improved my confidence in my ability to "get in shape" ! I've been sharing the experience with others I interact with as well...encouraging everyone, no matter what your current body shape is...there's hope here! No intimidation what so ever! This class has many positives as opposed to what my past experiences have been. The space is clean and the people are good here. I felt I belonged. Trap Fit met all my expectations with its offerings. This was a welcoming and no-judgment zone. Everyone was focused - I had a great time! A mental and physical challenge. Everything was an 8 count (LOL). The group interval training is of high interest for future classes here and the price is very inexpensive.
