It's not often that I can write a glowing review for a bank. This is one of those rare times:…read more 1) Going into the 9655 4th St North location to open an account, I found that their power was out. (Utilities work in the area). However, the staff was at the front door, doing everything they could to help. When I told them that I wanted to open a new account, they apologized, and asked if a neighboring location would be OK. They then called that location (4100 4th St North) to tell them I was on the way where a manager was WAITING AT THE DOOR for my arrival. Within 20 minutes, I had my new account, debit card and a handful of brochures to assist me. Wow. 2) Wells Fargo customer service is the Gold Standard by which other customer service entities need to be judged. No matter when I call and no matter what my question/issue is, the men and women who are customer service agents are prompt, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Rarely have I experienced such professionalism. Perhaps it's because they're all based in America and don't speak "Engrish". Thank you, Wells Fargo, for hiring Americans who speak and understand American English. Outstanding. I can recommend Wells Fargo without hesitation. I just wish OTHER American companies were run as well.

This is the WORST mortgage company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with . I don't care…read morewhat "discounts" they offer you, DO NOT USE THEM under any circumstances . It's 2023, they have no way to pay/ look at your mortgage online . You can mail in a paper with your bank information WRITTEN ON A PIECE OF PAPER( hello 1965) in order to do monthly automatic mortgage payments. When we try to pay additional principal they conveniently didn't receive the check in the mail , so we were told to take it to a local branch. Took it to a local branch, both the check , the teller showed principle only. What did they do? Apply it to our next month's payment . I can't tell if these people are crooked or just extremely incompetent . I have owned several other homes and dealt with numerous mortgage lenders, this by far is the worst. STAY FAR AWAY!
