We have so much faith in the professionals, and especially the leadership of this fantastic company.... Hamilton & Associates. They are EXPERT in all things TAX. (Big shout-out for Rachel Santana, CPA, and Grace C. Lewis, CPA!) Hamilton & Associates are worth every penny. Their tax knowledge and financial accuracy have given our family financial peace-of-mind for an accumulative 33 years (incredible, considering we moved from FL, through four different states and those tax laws, and then back to FL). Don't underestimate the benefits of consistently using the same seasoned professionals to handle your tax needs. They are who we call, email, and reach out to throughout the year and at tax-time. Hamilton is "Our Team". Bravo!! read more

Do not recommend. As a new client, when I went to file my taxes back in March, I had two W2 forms. They lost the one form and filed my taxes incorrectly. The amendum process has been a nightmare ever since, and the employees at Hamilton have not been helpful throughout the process. read more

Love this accounting firm. They go above and beyond to handle my taxes. They are professional, kind, and quick to respond.

I have been using this team to handle my taxes for several years now. As an independent contractor, the process for finding all of the available deductions just turned into too much of a headache. Anyhow, my experience with H&A has simply been excellent. Rachel and her team have always been quick, organized and thoughtful with their work. Plus they are willing to my questions, when I am unclear on something - I really appreciate that communication element to their services. read more

This firm used to be really great. Unfortunately with their growth, it has been at the sacrifice in the lack of detail and dissappearing customer service. I am a real estate agent and just discovered that they did not include ANY of my business miles. For what they charge, they should not make the types of errors they have been making. My last tax return was such a train wreck, I am going to need to have those audited to see what else was missed because I am not a tax pro. When I tried to bring this to the senior partners attention (that I had a relationship with) she gave me back 'one liners' in an email that told me she wanted talk about it but didn't have time for me for several months. I am still waiting for a call. I also asked about the changes from congress regarding LLCs and I was told don't worry about it, now I am getting emailed about these important changes. They have to do better with customer service. If you are an existing client proceed with caution, because I will bet there are errors on your returns. Its disappointing after being with them for many years, but with no return calls or concern to address major issues I just can't be a client anymore. read more

I've had both my personal and business taxes completed by Hamilton & Associates for years, since the early 2000's. I started working with them when I lived in Florida. I moved to Maryland in 2007. I was so happy with their service. I continued working with them. They are very reliable, helpful, and very trustworthy. Anytime I needed assistance with anything requiring an accountant they have always been there. This is something you really can't put a value on. They have always answered any questions or concerns, which have been few. Having my personal and business taxes done can be confusing especially if issues should come up throughout the tax year. My usual contact Rachel S. I would highly recommend Hamilton & Associates. read more

Why 5 stars? Because I've found my tax accountant for life. --- --- --- Prior to a couple of years ago, I was an annual user of Turbo Tax. I could input my W2's, answer no to all of the weird questions, and anxiously await my refund. Ah, those were the days. Fast forwarding to 2015, my taxes are super complicated, and I'm usually left with an I.O.U. to the government afterward. After Yelper, Michelle M and her husband Roger recommended Dustin Orr, I figured I would be an adult and get an accountant. I'm a super organized person in just about every aspect of life, but I am horrible with keeping track of my taxes. I pretty much just don't think about it once, and then come March, I try to dig up all of the info at one time. It's not fun, and I especially dread it since I end up owing money. But once I have all of the info, I send Dustin an email with about 50 different numbers of money I spent on this thing, that thing, and that other thing. To me, it's a jumbled mess, and I'm sure Dustin has a moment where he re-considers the profession he chose when he opens my emails. But we'll go back and forth with 2-3 emails consisting of follow-up questions, and next thing I know, my return is complete. Hassle-free... for me, at least. As long as I don't drive Dustin to quit doing tax returns, I'm a customer for life. read more

I have trusted this firm for 4 years with my tax needs. They're amazing, kind, and always go above and beyond. I will never go anywhere else for my taxes! Thank you Rachel Santana and Dustin Orr! read more

I met with one of the senior accountants at the end of January of this year after a friend had recommended them. I specifically asked if the firm would have the dedicated time to serve me and the various businesses I am involved with and the gentleman said yes. So I was asked to put together a laundry list of items which took several hours that I spent 4 or 5 hours gathering on Saturday night. The senior accountant and I emailed each other for the next week or so on some various questions etc. Last week I reached out once or twice and radio silence. I got an email just prior to 8:00 AM this morning saying the firm doesn't have the manpower to address my needs and I should take my business to H&R Block or another firm. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???. I have employees who haven't received their 1099's yet because I was relying on these folks after they said that a staff accountant was working on them and that I should have them this week. VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! STAY AWAY!!! I don't usually right reviews for much of anything but this was ABSURD!! read more

I'm really not a complex person, When it comes to taxes. . . But the thought of digging up papers, and reviewing line items just does not excite me. Not much time in my life for that at the moment. Decided to outsource taxes this year, and after the super positive experience I had here, I just cannot imagine self filing again. I walked in (with no appointment--but it's best if YOU make one) with my papers and walked out literally 20 minutes later with everything done. (see, told you I'm easy). It was magic. Instant relief. Burden gone. I received a copy of the file in the mail not too long afterwards. The peace of mind in having my taxes filed correctly, with minimal time invested on my part is well worth the fee. read more

I was a loyal client for a number of years. At first, I was treated great and couldn't have been happier but, now I really wish I wouldn't have wasted my loyalty on this firm. I can't even tell you how impressed we were with this business! The staff is super friendly and knowledgable! We came here to get our income taxes completed when the military base was booked up. Best decision EVER! We were able to get an appointment the next day with Rachel, who was AMAZING at preparing our taxes. She knew exactly what she was doing and talked us through the process as she went. We are pretty basic with a rental property, but had recently adopted a child, which we were unsure if that would be a headache to get through tax-wise. But, Rachel walked us right through it and made it so easy. This was the least stressful tax appointment we have EVER had. I super highly recommend Rachel and Hamiltion/Philips for taxes! We will be back for sure! They even offer military discount. read more

His knowledge and expertise with taxes is exceptional. Even our situation, which we considered confusing, Dustin glided through with ease. I would recommend Dustin Orr and this office to family and friends, and already have. Thank you, Dustin Orr, so very much for all you have done for us. See you again soon. read more
