I loved the Original Carmens (in Abington) it was ok here but then never tried Fiesta till this past weekend. Don't really need to go back. I did try one of the special priced Margaritas, you get what you pay for, cheap price cheap drink. Just wasn't good. Like most mexican places they fill you up on the chips and salsa so that you will be part full by the time your real food comes. The chips were a little greasy, the salsa thin, watery barely enough flavor. I had the Carne Asad, and my friend had the fish tacos. Both were ok but really small for the price, the plate is mostly filled with beans and rice and the serving size just isn't great for the money, the food is average. Just terrible. My high top stool broke when I sat in it and I'm not terribly large(6'1" 215 pounds). The refried beans were like soup, the rice was flavorless and I've never seen a tamale like the served. Everything tastes like it was previously frozen, except for the steak fajitas...those were tolerable. This was our first time trying out this restaurant (East Bridgewater location). I used to drive by it every day and noticed there weren't a lot of cars in the parking lot at any time, so I was wary of testing it out. I am so glad we finally did! This is authentic Mexican at its best. We ordered some basics, a taco salad with chicken, chicken enchiladas, and received a free order of nachos with beef (currently running a Valpak special). The price seemed slightly high, though on par with comparables like Chile's, etc. But the portions were HUGE, so we will be able to get 4 full meals out of it in the long run. Their website leaves a LOT to be desired. It hasn't been updated to even note that there IS an East Bridgewater location, and the hours are not posted anywhere. The hours listed here on Yelp do not include Sundays, but they are open all day Sundays, too. So marketing-wise, they can definitely improve, but hopefully they'll keep the taste of their food the same! read more

Fiesta is pretty close to us so we've been there quite a bit. The food is consistently above average, prices are reasonable and the service has been good. One of the few knocks I can give them is their estimate to prepare food for takeout has been hit or miss. If possible I would leave 0 stars. About two months ago I visited Fiesta Mexican for dinner and drinks with my fiance. We sat outside and ordered drinks where I informed our server about my severe allergy to pineapple. He wrote it down said all good and brought us over our drinks. About 10 mins after bringing our drinks I was approached my a manager who asked about my allergy and then took away my drink stating it contained pineapple but that they could bring me some water... water was not going to help as I had already consumed much of my drink. I immediately headed to the emergency department where I suffered from a severe allergic reaction resulting in immense physical pain, medical bills, missed work and extensive pain and suffering for weeks after. I contacted Fiesta now multiple times about paying for my medical bills as they have already accepted full blame at the time of the event and yet now I cant get anyone to speak to me. Absolutely horrified by the lack of response from them and lack of awareness when dealing with a known allergy. Stay far away if you or someone in your party suffers from an allergy as they have clearly not been trained properly in allergy safety. Will be contacting BOH and an attorney. read more

I've lived in east Bridgewater for 17 years and always came to this place it's always been a go too for my boyfriend and I until last night. We both came to grab dinner around 930 and brought a friend. They rushed us to order because they have to turn their burners back on to make our food.. ok? So we ordered on the spot. My boyfriend had to leave because he was really sick. When the food came to the table I kindly apologized to the waiter and said my boyfriend won't be taking his food because he left sick. His response? "We turned our burners on to make your plate there's nothing we can do about it". Very disappointed with that response I took two bites out of my plate and took it to go along with my boyfriends plate I had to take too. Came home the next day to give him his leftovers and OMG was it covered in salt!! Our waiter we had last night that I've never seen before took his plate to the back to pack it and loaded it with salt. HOW RUDE. Never returning here again you lost your loyal costumers fiestas. also would like to mention he got rice beans a cheap thin piece of steak and 3 shrimps for 30$ .. not even close to worth it read more

FIRST I was missing avocado on the side of my order and instead of giving me the (paying customer) a side cup of avocado I was told I was lying and that they needed to look in the bag. I give fiestas one star I walked in thinking I was going to get a good meal I started with my drink and chips the chips were just terrible they tasted like card board they weren't salty like they should be and the salsa watery tomato crap like it actually looked like water with tomatoes in it then it took forever for me to get my taco salad the meat was dry there were NO beans in it. I'm not big on Mexican food, but I'm sure it's fine since this place usually has a good crowd. What I am big on are burgers, and the Southwest Burger here is fantastic. I took a chance on it and now it's my go to since my wife likes Mexican and we eat here at least once a month. Great margaritas too according to my wife. Bar side has plenty of tv's on different channels, so you have options if there is a wait and can grab a drink. Wait staff are always fast and friendly. This is not Mexican food this is Tex-Mex and not good Tex-Mex. The place was dead on a Saturday night. All we ordered were nachos that were very underwhelming and you could definitely tell they were straight out of the microwave. I've had leftovers that tasted fresher. The food is delicious! It's a bit on the pricier side if you eat dinner there, but at lunch? Same portions, and $5 specials! I had lunch with one of my girlfriends there a couple weeks ago and got the lunch Chimichanga, and it was HUGE and DELICIOUS! The salsa that comes with the complimentary chips is delicious. I remember back when I first moved to the area and we had at least 4 different quality Mexican restauraunts. Carmen's, Cafe Nicole (original carmen's owners), Acapulcos and a host of others. For some reason, all of these places closed their doors on us. What came out of it was Fiestas. As soon as it opened, my wife and I got takeout as we were dying for good Mexican food. Unformtunately, we were very disappointed in the food. Very very very bland for Meixican food and it looked thrown together. We thought maybe it was due to it being take out so we decided to eat there. Again, same results. Underwhelming taste. So we decided to not go there again. Flash forward a couple of years and our neighbors were raving about the place. They were going there every week. So, we figured maybe it was a fluke and things are better now compared to last time we were there. So we head there and...same result. I couldn;t figure out why everyone was raving about this place. I asked a few people and noticed the trend....$3 margaritas. There you have it. Explianed a lot. People were going for the inexpensive drinks and were overlooking food quality. Ok...I might be stretching it a bit on quality. This is not Taco bell crap. It is clearly better than that. But it is not authentic mexican and it is not on par with all of the closed restaurants that we used to have (nione of them offered $3 drinks...perhaps that was their mistake). Since the last time we went there, several places opened up including a chain restauraunt Plaza el teca. For a chain, that place is pretty good. However, if you want true authentic Mexican where almost everything is made fresh on site, you need to head to Brockton and go to Cafe Rosario (old name was Burrito Wraps). That place does not have $3 drinks but they do have the best tasting margaritas I've ever had and their food is some of the best as well. read more

Decided to try this place out. First off the service is friendly and very quick. No issues whatever. Started with a cucumber margarita. Had a bizarre flavor that had no cucmber flavor at all. Several sips and i was all set. My companion was gonna take it but had only one sip and agreed. Now on to the food. Chips are warm and crunchy. Good. Ordered chili con queso and let me just say I didnt know Velveeta came in white. Had a minute amount of jalapeños so it tasted juust runny and bland. Now the enchiladas.... sauce had a metallic taste. I would guess that this was canned sauce. Plate didnt come with rice. Beans in the enchilada were way to runny. On the plus side the prices were very cheap and the staff were very friendly. I will mention i did grow up in New Mexico so my standards are kinda high. Just tried to eat there with my disabled daughter and family. The bartender said he would seat us. Instead he seated the couple that came in after us. He had pointed out a table I could sit at.
