She's the wife and 'leading lady' in this family. Her smile is huge and her spirits are vibrant. Every time I walk inside this store (especially in 106 degree weather) the AC is on full blast and the service is impeccable - two major inviting assets to any business. I usually stop in for a beverage and some Lotto Tickets, too. The store is tiny, but its organized in a way that is appealing and eye-candy status. It makes you want to buy more and more. The prices are perfect, not expensive and fresh in quality. Come to find out, they continuously win a spot in "Best Of" in the local City Paper continuously. I was highly impressed with their eclectic varieties of cider, as well as these fruit cider beers and a number of different organic liquors, as well as wine and mixers!! Originally, I could not find the beer my friend was able to see on their website that was somehow in the store, but it was not in the refrigerator instead it was on the endcap. He didn't need them cold so it was perfect!! One of the employees found it with ease!! The store was very big and very well organized! I was quickly able to walk down the full aisle of cider beers as well as another part that was import beers and specialty. I guess Amber beers or maybe seasonal beers! There seem to be something for everybody here!! Plus, there was a really close parking spot at the angle of the door, so it was easy for me to get in and out! They have a more complete and curated selection of premium imported brands such as Volan, G4, Adictivo and Ocho than much bigger stores like Total Wine and BevMo. They actually do a lot of online business, so this storefront acts as something of a showroom. Their owners are extremely knowledgable about what they carry and what they are waiting on to restock. They mentioned that they took over an older liquor store named JP Liquors, which is a completely different business from theirs. It now resembles a library-like gallery of premium spirits from the floor to the ceiling! In addition to their tequila and mezcal, they also carry bourbon and whiskey. I picked up a bottle of Yamazaki 12 for a good price. Most surprisingly, they have the infamous Empirical Spirits Doritos liqueur in stock. Empirical sold out of it for awhile and had a waiting list for their new batches. If you're looking for a rare bottle, chances are that these guys can help you find it for a fair price. It is a real gem if you are a fan of tequilas and mezcal.

The item itself is quite limited and each bottle is numbered to let you know how many were made that year. He only had one left and it had been long discontinued so I was very glad I got my hands on it. It seemed like the best value for the price among the rarer options he had available. I really, really appreciate the fact that he did not mark it up a penny (BevMo had it for $299.99 many years back) even though he totally could have. This tells me right off the bat he is an extremely straight-shooter kind of business owner who cares about longtime customer value and retention rather than trying to make a quick buck or drive "hype" up.
