They instantly wanted a down payment for this work to be done and my husband told them that he needed to go over it with me prior to agreeing. So we made an appt at dentists of gilbert crossroads and it was a night and day difference as far as opinions go. Mind you we never were asked to get X-rays the first day at this location so all they did was clean our sons teeth. Gilbert crossroads did an X-ray and they all have separate rooms so you aren't sitting next to a bunch of kids is what my husband said. He said it was very odd the way the set up is between the two he didn't care for the huge bay of 7-8 kids sitting so close to one another. So second opinion today at the other office we selected only wanted 65 dollars to disc between his two front teeth, X-rays, and noticed the cavities he did have were so small it didn't make sense to fill it when they are just going to fall out. The back "cavity" we were told at this office didn't even show up on the X-ray at the second office on his images. Why tell someone they have a cavity if you don't have concrete proof in an image?? Seriously. Thanks for making parents worry/panic. Glad we didn't come here after all and won't be recommending to others.

The actual train set riding around the bays up above is great and adds a bit of a distraction for everyone. Behind the bays are seating areas for parents l. It's great to hear everything from the kids and the staff. The staff is great and they really know how to interact with the kids and make them feel comfortable. During the holiday's everyone is in the spirit dressed in holiday scrubs/pj's with the Polar Express movie and sounds playing. When you leave you always get a clear update about your kids... what to do, what to keep doing or what to add, but they also engage the kids to be a part of the process so it's not just on you. We love what they did for us I almost want to see if they will allow us to go there as well across the hall way. We absolutely hate the dentist we go to for adults for our teeth(sierra family in Chandler). When we brought our son to abc dentistry in Gilbert they quoted us well over 1600 dollars worth of work to be done on our almost 4 year olds mouth. Majority of it being for sedation I'm sure to fill all these supposed cavities he had. Keep in mind this was only by examining without any X-rays done. So when we went to this office for a second opinion they took some X-rays and couldn't even find all these extra cavities he supposedly had and said there wasn't a point to do all that work the other place recommended since his teeth would fall out and there was a good chance if they filled certain cavities the filling may fall out. So they ended up just disking his teeth in the front and then putting some silver fluoride sealant over some teeth to help further decay. Our son got a balloon, a token for prizes and a popsicle which is every kids dream come true. We love that for him! The other office did not one positive thing at all besides give them a goody bag. So if you want a warm and welcoming place for you or your kids this is it! Saved us well over 400 dollars I'll take 90 dollars over 400+ any day!

Initial appointment time was 12 noon for my 4 year old. They called the day before and changed it to 11:30am. Then we get a call the morning of the appointment saying we need to be there at 10:30am. We arrive at 10:30am and then wait until 1pm... our 4 year old hadn't eaten since 6pm the night before. He was crying and saying his stomach hurt. He wasn't allowed to eat breakfast because his appointment was moved to 11:30am and he needed to have at least a 6 hour window with no food. If we had kept his original appointment of 12noon, then he could have eaten breakfast, but they moved up his appointment so he wasn't allowed to eat. During the 2 and a half hour wait we had to walk around the office in search of someone to give us an update. Not once did anyone come to us with any kind of an update. That's pathetic. I have no idea how anyone would give this place a 5 star. Worst service ever. They handled this situation as if they've never handled or dealt with children at all. How could any children's dentist expect a 4 year old to 1, wait in an office for over 2 hours. 2, how could they have nobody come out to do the polite thing and update us. 3, do all this while knowing the 4 year old hadn't eaten anything since the night before at 6pm. My advice to anyone looking to have work done here... DONT!... Run the opposite direction to a different dental office for kids. They have no idea what they're doing here.
