Last weekend we had my father's 70th bday party at this hall. From beginning to end the process was super smooth. We were able to pick linen colors, food, and even prepay for drinks. The night of the event, we were able to decorate as early as 10am! The place looked amazing! The food was delicious! And Joey made the BEST drinks I've had! 2 things to note: We were able to taste two menu options 2 weeks prior. I was a bit nervous because it was a bit bland. But on the night of the event, it was COMPLETELY different. The food was DELICIOUS. As all our guests were very happy. Secondly, during dinner service we had 1 server for 100 people. I was VERY concerned as she looked overwhelmed. I made a comment to Joey and he handled it beautifully. He had 2 other servers help, making the process MUCH smoother. Thank you Joey for an AMAZING event!!!! Sometimes it's not whether or not an event has hiccups...most do. It's also whether or not they can be worked through without missing a step. I had my daughter's quinceanera in the big hall and was very satisfied. Pros: The place is nice, the bathrooms are nice and clean, they have a small arcade off the side (which came in really handy in entertaining the little ones) and the support staff were very helpful and friendly before and during the party. I visited a lot of venues and the per plate price was not too much higher than Fiesta's but all other (nice) places had a ridiculous amount of added fees. The only things that was not included here were the ciders for the toast and chair covers. Cons: We were not allowed to practice the waltz there before, but that was made perfectly clear from the beginning (even before I booked) as was the fact that dinner would only be served for two hours. The only other drawback is that you are forced to pay the same price for children's plates as for adults (again, also made clear from the beginning). Had my 50th birthday celebration here last weekend 1/25/2020 in the Manhattan lounge and the place and food was great. Since I reserved everything was met in a timely fashion and all my questions and concerns were address. Letty did a great job in taking my food and decorative preference into account when putting everything together for my celebration. Establishment poorly ran, unorganized, no customer service and no accountability!! Double booked my day, now here I am 6 weeks before my wedding trying to find another venue!! Jorge the owner will act like everything is all good as long as there is money in front him!! He couldn't even give me a call to let me know about his f*#k up, he had his assistant call! Then tells his assistant he will show his face and to meet him at the hall and what do you know never shows up there either, instead has his assistant take all the heat!! Don't bother, check the reviews, do your research!! Lesson learned! Had a graduation event there May 2016 service was horrible they served our food from the restroom area. There was a person sleeping in the bathroom when we arrived to decorate and we brought it to the staff attention and they threatened us by saying that they could make our party goes nicely or they could give us a very difficult time. Our guests were searched at the door and some of our guests were served on paper plates instead of plates. We were told when we signed the contract that they could provide as many tables as we needed for the candy bar the cake and gifts when we ask for the tables they gave us a card tables. I called the manager George a few days after the event to inform him of the service that we received because he was not there that day and he told me no don't come back we don't want your business anyway instead of offering an apology read more

Very disappointed in the service I received! I invited family and friends to join us for a fundraiser and my family was treated as if we where free loaders. I don't appreciate that. I ordered a bucket of 7 beers, then fries and then another bucket of 7 beers. My sister ordered a jack and coke and one corona, then three Coronas but then heard the nights special for 12 beers of Corona for $60. Asked the waitress if she could switch it to the special 12 Coronas. She said yes no problem. So she brought out 7 more beers. So we later told hey you only brought out 11 total beers. She was like I included the first beer. Great still missing one. She was charging us for 13 beers but only gave us 11. When we brought it to her attention again she was like you agreed. Agreed to including the first beer in the 12 but still shorted us when you charged us for 13. When she gave us the two beers made it as if we stole it or free loaded. We don't steal or free load from anyone but we work hard for our beers and f getting shorted even just one. And we where still charged 18%. Not happy! Her name was Jasmine. Jasmine your service was not worth the 18%. You might have took the order but did not deliver the order and treated us like shit for bringing up the discrepancy. read more

I was talking to George for a few days getting information in re: to the banquet hall. It was always hard to get a hold of him voicemail always full and no way to speak to him. When I finally got a hold of him we schedule an appt for today at 5pm I waited for almost 2 hrs no one ever showed up. It was about 5-6 of us there for the same reason trying to reserve for an event. No one ever reached out to us to cancel or anything. And no one showed up. Very unprofessional from them to leave so much people waiting with no cancellations and no answering phones. read more

This is an update to my first post: The reception for my niece's Quinceañera yesterday was beautiful. The food was delicious, the uplighting was perfect because it set the tone, the servers were attentive and Joey our coordinator was supportive in all requests. Nicole our DJ was fantastic. She played all the right music (thank you Chris). The night was perfect. I know my niece had a great time because she was smiling the entire night. First post: I want thank George for helping us book the Manhattan Lounge for my niece's 15th bday. George explained everything and answered all my questions. Very rude staff. I went to photograph an event and in the first five minutes I was there I was screamed at by the cafeteria lady, security guard would not open the door and was very rude and told to go around even though he was already there, bouncer was very hostile and rude when I tried to go inside. I went to complain to the person and charge and all he did was chuckle and say "yeah...well" no wonder this establishment has a very low rating. I don't recommend anyone holding their events here. If I were the owner I would clean house and get people that are not bitter. read more

I booked my wedding at the Manhattan lounge, service sucks they don't even care that this is your wedding night a very important day in your life! George had promised me that he would serve dinners even after the dinner time. Once guests started arriving at a later time the servers said"no kitchen is closed" with out even thinking twice. If I can post 0 starS I would. Bad people. My nieces sweet 16, but nothing sweet about the management. They say set up is at 10 am but neglect to tell you that they will not turn on the AC until 1 hour before your event. We could not set up the fresh flower arrangements, desserts and candy table. I pleaded to turn on the AC because it was 96 degree that day and every would go to waste before the party even started. The girl dressed in flip flop and short and tank top would not be reasonable. She said she was not hot and that she was not responsible for the flowers and anything else. I argued when they state the set up time they should turn on the AC so we can finish everything that we planned for that day. We had allotted that time because our photographer was coming to take picture but management did not care. A year of planning and little things like this set us back the hole day and we were late with everything all night. someone wrote a review about the servers rushing you and clearing the tables. They were picking up the champagne glasses and we had not done the toast yet and one guest complained and they did not bring her glass back and refused to serve her. Yes the drink are expensive and the servers were picking up the glasses half full when the guest went out to dance. we paid for drink and they got taken away. Like I said VERY BAD PEOPLE. When you spend so much money on your special day and want everything to so as smooth as possible, this is not the place to rent. read more

Our event ended at 7:00 and by 5:30 the staff had removed all food, lemonade, and water from the tables! When I asked for a pitcher of water with a few cups for some guests that were thristy, they said we had to buy it from the bar and water was only provided while people were eating. What a joke! Had My 30th Birthday Bash Dec 5 2015 at the Manhattan Lounge and let me say it was Amazing! George the owner and his staff did an incredible job! We did an appetizers menu which were delicious, the staff was so on point making sure my guest were well taken care of the entire night from beginning to end everyone was so nice n friendly. The bartender and security were so awsome and on point, the drinks were bomb! My guest had an amazing time I kept on getting compliments the whole night! A nice place to have almost any event. The food was actually good considering it's a hall. The only downside was the security guards. The two guys seemed like they were trying to act too tough. One especially thought he owned the hall. He wanted to instigate a confrontation. Even when my cousin was going to his vehicle the guard questioned my cousin about his car. Even when the dj was finishing up the last song the guard was signaling him to stop. The guard even told us to hurry up and clean so they can set up for tomorrow's event when he saw we were cleaning already. read more

I had my daughters sweet 16 on March 23, 13 at the Fiesta Hall in Pico Rivera. At first the co owner Carlos seemed very nice but when it came to the food tasting my NIGHTMARE began. Their cook "Letty" was or should I say IS the rudest person. We got our menu choices but the presentation was HORRIBLE!! No side dish nothing just the plain meat. I addressed my concerns to the owner Jorge about his RUDE cook and said that they would guarantee me a great party! The event started ok up until one of my guest with a toddler showed up. The hall does not allow outside food but my guest had SNACKS for her toddler and was told by security to put them back in the car. Wtf? Theyre kid snacks?!?!? Then Ive hit my food limit and purchase more I request another table and pay for 12 meals. My mother goes to Carlos and ask for the same amount and Carlos charges her for the same amount I paid for instead of tell her It had been paid for. The waitress where also rude and very sloppy in serving our guest. I call Carlos to address my concerns and now its a different ball game. I told him he accidentally charged us twice for the same meals and swears we said 29 instead of 12. Then i tell him I wasnt satisfy with the service and he replies with Im sorry I dont know what to tell you. That I was a hard person to please. Of course i want my daughter party to go perfect. We get into an argument and he said he wasnt going to talk to me anymore that the party is done and he said " You are a bitch im hanging up now" click he hangs up on me. Unprofessional service. Tv's not working at the day of the event. We were notified 1 day before the event that the projector was broken . (an important part of the event). The waiters were unavailable most of the time, and did not even stop by the tables for water or tea refills. No paper in the men's restroom. Food was ok , if you were hungry. Our big day was yesterday. My mother in laws 80th birthday party! Just need to say after much anticipation, stress and worry. It turned out great! Everyone had an awesome time! All with Bernie's help. She's the greatest. No matter what time I texted (and sometimes it was late) she always responded promptly and always reassured everything would be great. my niece had her quince here last weekend. the hall was nice and security was great. but the bartender added 18% gratuity to our bill. there was no notice or anything posted and they had a big tip jar on the bar. total scam! and on top of that the bartender was a total jerk and it was obvious he did not want to be there. totally rude. read more

We celebrated our family reunion at Fiesta Hall and everyone had a fantastic time. The staff was always on point with the service. It is difficult to find a venue in the area that goes above and beyond the level of service. The food and drinks were excellent and reasonably priced. Boy oh boy! Where should I start? Okay maybe with the positive..The Venue itself is nice looks to be new building. Not to shabby at all. That's where it ends. My Sister had my nieces sweet 16 there about a month ago and I tell you the manager Jorge will paint you a picture of this fairy tail event with great service. (Of course while your making payments all year long) and great service is not what you receive. The waitresses are very slow and sloppy in appearance one could barely keep her pants up. You call for their attention and they walk right past you like if they don't know english. The Food DID NOT Taste like it did for the food tasting. It tasted like dry chicken from the day before. The security at the door is for a night club atmosphere they don't look welcoming at all.. don't know if they change every weekend but definitely not the kind faces I saw in January when leaving a payment. Bartenders were rude they had a (your bothering me)attitude always on their phones. they don't give free water after dinner so don't ask,not even from the tap. The front of the hall was infested with water bug roaches I even saw one in the men's restroom. again Jorge doesn't seem like a trustworthy lad! I've seen him working drunk for a comedy fundraiser for La Serna in their Manhattan bar. He was all over women pooring them free drinks . Very bad experience with Fiesta hall. Had my wedding reception here last Saturday the 27th of May. Will never again have anything to do with this place. First mistake, double booking. My fiancée and I booked the hall almost 3 years in advanced originally for MAY 28, 2017-SUNDAY. Which was so affordable since it was a Sunday, we put $500 deposit down and we were ecstatic. Came back almost a month later to make out first payment, guess what? The manager Jorge double booked us, yuuuuuuuup. So we had to move our date to that Saturday the 27th, oh and it was more $ since it was a Saturday. Yay us. Spending more $ that just grows out of our a**es right?! Ok moving on, we were told that the final guest count had to be given a month in advance or sooner. Which we did almost 2 months in advanced. We booked 211 dinners, so they left us with a remaining 39 dinners we paid for to use as substitutes for other things we wanted to add. So we added seat covers, a $400 and something keg of modelo for our guests, and we got $467 back from Jorge. Sounds good right? WRONG! First of all it took forever for Jorge to give us that $ back, almost 2 weeks of bugging him for it, finally he wrote us a check and that was the end of it. Mmm not quite, guess what? The check BOUNCED. So I had to drive from work to Whittier to go pick up cash money from him. By then I was already fed up because it was the week of the wedding. Ok, so here we are the big day! Before we get to the hall we get a call from my bro in law saying that our guests are paying for their drinks and that the bartender said there was nothing about a keg on file, so we call Jorge and inform him of the situation. To which he replies, "oh no there's no keg here on your contract" like wth?! Seriously?! To which my husband grabs the phone going off on him telling Jorge that he specifically asked for a keg of modelo which we PAID FOR. All Jorge could say was "oh I must not have written it down, I'm sorry mijo" by that time my husband is looking for blood. So we get to the hall and I have to have my dad go talk to Jorge with my husband cause I knew he was gonna beat the sh*t out of this guy. So what he tells us is that he has a keg of tecate that he can offer us (which no one drinks) or he can give us 150 tickets for our guests to get beer. I let my guests decide and they chose the tickets. The rest of the night was fine, we had fun because of our family and friends. But again another problem arose when the dinner was over. Everyone was dancing and thirsty, a few of my family had asked if they were gonna bring water for the tables. So of course I go and ask. Which Jorge tells me that now since the dinner is over, my guests will have to pay for it. Cause that's how they make their money. Ok?! But why was I never told this?! I even went as far as to ask him if I went to 7-11 and bought water gallons could I bring them in, to which he said no. It got to the point where one of my cousins seen I was so upset that he offered to pay for water containers to be put on the tables for everyone. Which again we got a NO. By that time I was so done with Jorge. If everything had went the way it should have, then my wedding night would of been absolutely perfect. But since Jorge doesn't care about the people he's taking $ from (a lot of f*cking money) then you're likely to get sh*tty service. Regardless I enjoyed my wedding. We had lots of fun, and I'm glad my family and friends were there to share our special day with us. But that manager, and all his lies and f*ck ups just irritated me. He's lucky we don't sue his a**. But best believe I won't be looking to have anymore parties here. I work at a bakery where we deliver there all the time, and I have no qualms about letting my customers know about the shady sh*t that goes on there. Don't waste your $, it ain't worth it. We celebrated my son's 18th bday on Friday May20 and though our guests raved about the beautiful appearance and the delicious food. They had no idea the hell we had to deal with from the owner and staff. They were so kind and accommodating until they got our payment in full. 3 days before our event they told us we could set-up/decorate the day before from 2pm-7pm and after 10am the day of. My son went for a couple of hours the day of and we all returned at 4pm with the DJ and photographer. Our event started at 6:30pm and they kicked us out at 5pm. When i questioned it the owner George said it stated in our contract that we only had 2 hours to decorate and we had already exceeded that. I reviewed my contract and that was not stated anywhere and suddenly George was nowhere to be found. They wouldn't even let us use the restroom to change our clothes. My entire family of 8 walked across the street where they graciously accommodated us and told us this happens all the time. Our event kicked off at 6:30pm and everything was great other than our DJ having to finish up setting up his wiring in the middle of guest arriving. At 10pm our festivities had ended and the rest of the night was for dancing. Much of the older crowd left. At 10:30pm a young adult guest approached me that they would not give her water, that it would cost her $2. She had no money with her so I went to the bar and WOW, there was George the owner. I asked about water he rudely said "the kitchen is closed, bottled water is $2." I paid for the girls water and announced over the mic that the facility will not serve water and I apologized for any inconvenience and I would pay for anyones water if they would like some. A couple people approached me and asked for some. When I went back to pay for it I suggested to George that he write that in the contract because some people come without money assuming water is usually free. He was extremely rude and sarcastic referring to me as a person with "special needs". What would be the difference serving water in glass vs alcohol in one. The kitchen apparently was open for dirty alcohol glasses but not water. Then our event was over at 1am. We were loading our cars in the back and the continued to turn off the lights. The rear parking is very dark. I turned the lights on repeatedly on 5 occasions. At 1:05am our DJ hd all his equipment out, however he was strapping stuff to the roof of his SUV. The staff insisted I leave so they could close the door and turn off the lights. I refused because they were still on the roof of their SUV and it would have been dangerous. They said they didnt care and wanted us out. I reminded him he was security and his job was to make sure things were secure AND safe..SAFE..he said he didn't care. I refused to move. I would not allow a DJ I hired to be put at risk for ignorance. George the owner came to me called me a "fuckin bitch", threatened to throw my "fuckin ass out". He told his staff to get mace and handcuffs and he would "take care of me" All this commotion so they could turn the lights out on their customer and put them in danger. And let me add that they were not just there waiting for us to leave. The hall was full of staff setting up for the next days party. Once the DJ had was off his roof and set, I left the hall. Its so unfortunate that they were so rude and unprofessional. The hall is beautiful and the food is outstanding. We are looking into the Better Business Bureau, the health dept and the Chamber of Commerce. We had a guest that is a police officer and he said not providing water is against the law. If I could give this place no stars I would. Recently celebrated my sisters quinceañera over the past weekend and what should've been such a magical night for her turned out to be a disaster. Starting off by getting a hold of someone prior to the date is no existing. On the day of was even worse was told I could come in as early as 12 to start setting up and by 2:30 there still wasn't anyone there to set up the stuff on their end no fork or plate in site. I have a service dog which was confirmed by Jorge that I could bring and on the day off I was told she couldn't come in by whom I'm think was a server or helper. I let her know that Jorge allowed my dog to be there as she is a service dog. I've never witnessed or have been given such horrible service. Jasmine who I don't know what her position is gave everyone the worse attitude and made all my guest feel uncomfortable. Her and the main bartender need to be spoken to if I'm paying for the service I expect to be treated with respect. When I simply asked the bartender what was in the margaritas he gave me the worst attitude while answering me not to worry about it's a margarita but as a bartender my self I wanted to make sure no club soda or pineapple juice was added. He simply turned my back and asked someone else because I had it with his attitude. Worst part is walking into jasmine talking poorly about me because of my dog. Not only that she refused to give me any setup for the table as she told me to do it my self because it's not apart of her job. While I called Leticia to tell her about everything that was going on she shortly called her staff to begin setting up which is when finally at 3:30 they began. While setting up on of the staff broke my glass vase that was being use for the candy bar. Not an apology or anything but him walking away making my sister clean up the mess. Unbelievable treatment I was ready to leave the place and take my party else where but sadly due to me paying for everything I didn't want to lose all the money I had invested already. As the night continued I got complaints from my guest about her and the bartender for their attitude. I paid to have a full bar and when I asked for a certain drink or choice of alcohol I was told by the bartender he didn't have it but when my guest would ask he'd make it for them I was astonished of his work ethic and attitude. My contracted said the party would finish at 12 there want a reason why 15 minutes before the party finished the lights came on and told my dj to stop playing while my guest were still dancing. As the night finished me trying to help them clean up I was told nasty by the bartender that I had to leave now or they would throw away everything I had in the beauty room in the back. I not happy how I reacted told him off out of anger. Once I found Jorge and told him everything he informed me that's not the first time he's had people complain about those two employees. One I'm not sincere apology from Jorge and he walked away. If you can stay away from this place I would recommend it, it's a beautiful place and good pricing but if they don't change management or employees this place is going down sadly. I wish I had at least one thing nice to say about this nice but there's not one thing please stay away from this place or make sure they have a different staff. read more

We had our wedding reception here last night and we are still in awe of how great everything turned out. George, Joey, Leticia, and all staff are absolutely amazing!! Friendly and courteous in every interaction we had. They were straight forward with regards to pricing and what was included from the very beginning, so no surprises there. Hall was set up just as we expected. We ordered lemon herb chicken for our dinner and it was delicious. We pushed our food serving time to accommodate late arriving guests. Staff was very understanding and served dinner when we asked them to. Food was hot when served and tasted just as it did during food tasting. We added their lighting package and were very pleased with it. The security at the door was friendly and ensured guests were at the correct party as they also had an event at their Manhattan Lounge. Ample parking available. Overall excellent experience. Thank you Fiesta Hall for exceeding our expectations. read more

Been here a few times for various events and even had my baby shower here in the smaller room. Everyone is always really nice. There is a large parking lot for guests. I don't understand why people get halls without parking sometimes. The food has usually been great! Bringing things into the hall is also very convenient through the back door. I hate having to have been to some halls helping family and no one ever thinks of getting a hall with easy access like this one. Security has usually been courteous. I think anyone that has had problems with security are just the type of people that don't like to follow rules. The bathrooms were really clean when I was there and they even had one of those bathroom attendants which really added a touch of class. Overall I'd recommend this place to friends and family. As someone who has shopped around for halls here's a few tips for hall shopping..make sure that your hall has all the following: -good customer service -good food -good location -plenty of parking for all your guests -easy access to unload things - if located upstairs make sure there is an elevator. If no elevator go else where. -make sure there is adequate power supply for all your vendors. Stay away from old halls with old power supplies. You will be sorry when your entertainemnt keeps tripping breakers. -make sure the halls gives you plenty of time (a few hours) before your event to be able to set up and decorate. Stay away from halls that book an event in the same room as yours earlier in the same day. Hopefully this has been helpful to a lot of you. read more

You will have a hell of a time getting it back if you decide to cancel for any reason, the manager/owner of this place will always have an excuse not to give it back to you. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE SERVICE. The owner GEORGE and staff were the most unprofessional people I have ever had to deal with in my life! I would not recommend this facility to anyone, EVER! Where do I begin, I was the "wedding coordinator" for my brothers wedding, they decided to have their wedding reception at this hall becuase it is in fact a nice place, it looks nice, and before the balance was paid in full the owner was very accommodating. Let me start by saying that the bride is not the kind of person who lets people like this ruin her big day, but if she was it would have been. So initially they told us we can set up the day of the event at 10am, we get there at 10am and no one is at the hall, they decide to show up at 12! at this point I have to set up the entire place including chair covers and sashes, and be ready for the wedding by 2:00, almost impossible. The staff shows up with no explaination looking like he just woke up. When I walk in the napkins are not like we wanted them to be set up, there were two tables missing, and the sweetheart table was not where we told them we wanted it. They told us they would help us put on the chair covers, of course we had already done more than half, that was the least they could do. As if that wasn't enough the groom then gets a phone call and the owner says, "What kind of food did you guys order again?" THIS IS THE DAY OF THE WEDDING! The reception then started at 5, I get there and there was supposed to be a wine bottle at each table with wine glasses for the toast, of course none of that was done. We ended up toasting with a glass of some horrible tasting red punch, which we didn't order (we ordered lemonade). The bride and groom had paid a portion of the bar tab for guests to get beer and wine, of course the guests were initially being charger for beer until I went to talk to the owner, at this time he tells me that he lost our entire order and didn't know what was purchased. Like the review before mine, our guests were also asked to pay $2 for water, being that it is a wedding some poeple did not have money with them. To conclude the night the bride and groom ended up ordering one more bottle of wine for each table, to which George charges them $25 per bottle instead of the $14 pre-charge they paid for the rest of the bottles initially, I asked if he would honor the pre-price, being that they put us through hell already in which he replied that we had help putting on chair covers to compensate. So all in all it was a horrible experience. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau about this facility, THATS how horrible it was. read more

I actually had my wedding reception at this place almost three yeas ago and i still get mad thinking about this place. the Owner used the Manhattan Lounge as a hook to get us to sign a contract and the night before the wedding he tells us the Lounge is booked! what off snake does that?? and thats only the beginning! read more

We had an elegant cocktail party for my husband's 50th birthday in the Manhattan Lounge of Fiesta Hall and it was great! The staff was excellent, the caterer Lily was fantastic and very accommodating to our wishes. We served fancy finger food and cocktails. The ambiance and atmosphere in Manhattan Lounge was perfect for what we wanted to create - an elegant, classy party cocktail party. read more

Celebrated my daughter's dance team banquet in the Manhattan Lounge of the Fiesta Hall last week. Great atmosphere! The tables looked fabulous and we enjoyed a delicious dinner. Hats off to the Chef! The staff couldn't be more sweet and efficient. They have ample parking available and great Security. The bartender was excellent as well. We all had a blast celebrating a special year! We just celebrated my daughter's dance team award banquet in the Manhattan Lounge of the Fiesta Hall last Friday. I was very impressed with the way it was decorated. The food was delicious! My compliments to the cook! The whole staff was very friendly couldn't be more efficient. They have plenty of parking available and great Security he was also very friendly and helpful with directions. I will most definitely recommend the hall to friends and family!!! read more

Think twice before you decide to rent this place. The manager doesn't know what he is doing, he tells you what you want to hear to convince you to rent but then doesn't follow through. Be carefull, he's full of lies. read more
