My wife and I discovered this place not long after moving to Rochester in July 2013. We've been coming back once a month or month and a half since (we've been here about 8 times in a year). The food is terrific, the portions are generous, the service has always been excellent, and the prices are reasonable (if not actually a little lower than you might expect given the portion size). About half the time I get some monster steak burrito (I forget the exact name of the entree - sorry!), which comes with rice, guacamole and sour cream, and about half the time I am able to actually finish the whole thing at the restaurant (it reheats well). My wife likes chimichangas (I think that's what it is - it's a fried burrito, basically) and has never been disappointed. The menu is a few pages thick with over 100 items available (I think it's around 125 items, actually). The names of the entrees are in Spanish, but their descriptions are in English. So, being able to know what you're ordering is not a problem. The decor is spot-on for a Mexican restaurant. The staff is always friendly and the lady at the hostess' stand always greets you with a warm smile when you arrive and thanks you for coming as you depart. read more

Easily the best Mexican we've had in Rochester so far - and we go each year down south to compare it to our beloved New-Mex. We've always had extremely prompt and pleasant service and have witnessed it as well. One day we lamented to our server that we'd like something a bit spicier, so he brought out their homemade salsa verde. More flavor + a little heat = awesome! And now it's something that we have each time we go. We regularly go now and have tried quite a few of the various dishes and besides now knowing the staff better, the ones that keep us coming back are: Enchiladas with salsa verde - Uh yeah. New-Mex good. Tacos Rancheros - grilled chicken in corn tortillas smothered in sauce and veggies Pollo Fundido - Chicken + Chorizo in a cheesy sauce - what could go wrong?! And a new recipe that just came out is Mojarras - whole fried tilapia! Totally worth it and a lot of fun to eat. Some things to note - we're pretty sure they make their own salsa (bonus!) and everytime we've been there, and customers have asked for X but without A B C and with D E F, they've always been more than happy to do it. read more

This place has good parking but the food is only good. It's not very authentic but what they serve is good. Pretty blah. Queso was very thin, watery, gritty. Flavor was fine but the consistency seemed as if something were wrong but server insisted it was fine. The restaurant was very busy and the staff moved a table next to us essentially into the main walk way to make more room for another time. Felt crowded the entire time. I ordered a "house made margarita" that tasted like an off brand mix of sorts. I would stick with water there. Good margaritas... Had a fajita chicken quesadilla. Absolutely terrible. Rubbery chicken.. No good flavors. All my friends weren't happy with their dishes either. Chimichanga and enchilada dishes. Cheese dip is okay. Doesn't have much flavor. read more

We have never found Fiesta to be anything but delicious, fast and reasonably priced. This is our absolute "go to" for great Mexican food!

My wife and I recently ate here for the first time and we were both extremely impressed with the customer service and overall conduct of this restaurant, from the hostess to the cleanup, especially the server. I eat lunch at the Express downtown weekly, and they operate in the same manner. The food is fresh, healthy, and well-portioned. I recommend the Supremo Burrito that has the tomatoes, cheese, and lettuce on top! They sub black beans for any meat, so it's perfect for vegetarians. read more

I use to love coming here. The food was fantastic and the service was great. As of the recent though, the service has been poor and the food has gotten very bland. There is no care that goes into the presentation of the dishes and a majority of the sides are tasteless. The meat was dripping in grease. The chips were over cooked. It took forever for the waiter to bring us refills and there was only 2 other tables. There are too many other Mexican food places in town that still seem to care about the service they give so I suppose next time I'll just have to go to one of those. read more

I ate here when I was in Rochester. The ambience was really good. The servers are super friendly and they play really good music. The food there was really good. Ordered a burrito and chile rellenos and they were both made well. I hope it was more spicier though. Overall a very good experience. Might go here again if/when I am in town. read more

This is one of my favorite places in town. You get a LOT of food for your money, food comes fast, and the staff is so attentive and friendly! My family has been going to Fiesta for at least 20 years (I miss the old location just off of Hwy 52). My only concern is that things seem to be getting a bit bland. Good Mexican place on the NE end of Rochester. There's a crazy number of menu offerings and the staff is flexible and friendly. My friend had a birthday dinner here without a reservation and they were extremely accommodating! I have eaten here once and it struck me as a fast food style restaurant (like Don Pablos). If you like Don Pablos, then you will probably like this. I had lunch with my elderly mom there and she commented on how the food "did not have seasoning" - which for an 84 year old woman to say that...then it must not.
