Buffalo Wings
Girlie M.

Finally made it to Fieldwork, and I'm a fan! They offer a nice drink selection, including slushies that are perfect for cooling off during the summer. The spacious interior makes it an ideal casual hangout for friends, coworkers, and families with kids. FOOD Garlic Fries -- 5/5 The kids loved them, although the portion was smaller than expected. Fried Pickles -- 5/5 I've never had fried pickles served as spears since they're usually sliced. They came out extremely hot esp that first bite with the hot juices coming out, but they were delicious once they cooled down. Baked Goat Cheese -- 5/5 One of our favorites! Honey Calabrian Wings -- 3.8/5 They were okay, but not a standout for us. Hot Buffalo Wings -- 4/5 Flavorful, and the wings were nice and juicy. Hail Mary Pizza -- 4.5/5 got this Detroit style and it was good. Pepperoni Pizza -- 4.5/5 DRINKS Watermelon Pulp -- 5/5 Hard Lemonade Slush -- 4/5 Service was mostly quick, and our server was friendly. Overall, Fieldwork is another great Midtown taproom for a casual hangout.

Happy to see their new menu items - their chili is really good! Don't forget to ask for all the fix-ins!

I've always liked this location.Im not always the best planner and most of my visits to Fieldwork Brewing Company have come when I want to eat at either Paesanos or Zocalos, both are located nearby. So when I fail to make a reservation,Fieldwork historically has been a great spot to enjoy a great beer while waiting for a table. This particular trip was a bit different as we were out bar hopping doing some day drinking and we decided to stop by here for a quick beer. Fieldwork beer can be called many things, but I will always say it's a high quality, reliable beer-I've never had a beer here over the years that I didn't enjoy and today was no different. Today we decided to go with 2 beers-We had a Heezer($8.50) which is a Hefeweizen at 5.4% ABV and a West Coast Slang($8.50) which is a West Coast IPA at 7.0% ABV. I didn't love the Heezer but I'm also not much of a Hefeweizen type of guy. The West Coast Slang though was pretty awesome and went down super smooth, especially for an IPA.I would definitely order this again. As far as the seating situation, they have both outdoor seating, which is where we sat and a lot of indoor seating with their expanded 2nd indoor dining room that has a pretty large capacity. Parking is 100% street parking,it's a very busy part of town with many popular restaurants located nearby,so be prepared to not park close. I hear the food here is excellent but we honestly just showed up for a quick drink,so I will have to review the food at a later date. What I can say about this place is that through my many visits, the staff has always been great, very friendly and attentive, the place has always been very clean and the customers who frequent this establishment always seem to be in a fun festive mood. It's a pretty fun place.

Fieldwork Brewing has transformed into a regional powerhouse, and it's been fun to visit their newer locations. I've been to the original many times, but this was my first at the Sacramento taproom and I loved my visit. It's located in a beautiful historic neighborhood right near the Capitol building. It feels like you're in a quiet area, but it's filled with people. They have outdoor seating, plus the main taproom counter, bar, and various tables. In the main taproom you'll find lots of takeout beer and the merchandise. I ordered a few new beers to try, always up to the consistently excellent quality. The staff were welcoming and friendly. It's a casual place, and you can choose your own seating. If you've never been to a Fieldwork, it's a great location.

Fun guy pizza
Hope L.

I've been to the San Ramon location but got to check out the Sacramento location recently! The Fun Guy pizza is my absolute favorite. I don't like mushrooms and this pizza changed that! They don't skimp on toppings the vibes of the brewery are really nice! I just wish I got the Detroit style instead of the thin crust but I'll get the thick crust next time!

The service was pretty quick after we made our orders from our table using a QR code. My two colleagues enjoy their beer trials. One of them enjoyed the Chloé one! If you want parmesan cheese, ranch or ketchup to dip your pizza in and you can always just ask someone who works there. They are generous! Their pizza was crispy and tasty! There's plenty of spots to sit as well as outside seating, so it's perfect for big parties. I will say, I am not a fan of the tap water from their bucket. It just tasted wrong.

Beer selection has improved since our last visit, including more non-hoppy beers! Pizza was average.

Slushie

Have now been here a few times with friends and coworkers, and I think it's a great spot for a casual hangout! They have a nice selection of beers, ciders, and slushies. This most recent time I came, my friend and I tried their rose slushie and it was delicious. They have lots of seating inside and a cute outdoor area under the shade. The food is also quite tasty here, I've had their pizza which was really cheesy and perfect for sharing. The staff have also always been nice and helpful. Will definitely come back to try more of their menu.

Shishito Peppers

Haven't been to Fieldwork in a few years and was craving beer and pizza with this surprisingly great weather, so we had to stop in. Service was excellent. Everyone was super friendly and laid back. You can order at the tap or grab a seat and order via QR, which is awesome. Plenty of seating, spacious, good vibes, and they had Premier League on their massive TV. Beer was superb, kind of hard to review because I just love beer, man. We started with the shishito peppers, which were great and came with a really memorable miso aioli that was very addictive with a hint of lemon. We also got the "Fun Guy" pizza to share and made the mistake of removing the goat cheese, which I think hurt it. The crust was excellent and the toppings were fresh, but it felt like it was missing that salty, funky balance the goat cheese would've added. Still very good, but that one's on me. I'd definitely get it as intended next time. One of my favorite breweries, especially with so many having closed over the past few years. Cheers to them.

Fieldwork's taproom

I heard Fieldwork Brewing Company had the best hazy IPA so I had to come try it. We came on a rainy afternoon and the taproom was not too busy. There is a QR code to scan for the menu and you also order from your phone. We got the sampler to try different flavors. There were three sours on tap so we tried all three. The Rainbow Parfait was sweet and tasted like rainbow sherbet. The Jelly Packet had strawberry, grape, and orange flavors. It was probably the best of the three. Aloha Vibes had a tropical flavor and you can taste the coconut flavor in the drink. The three sours were all good, but I not the best sours I've tried. They weren't too strong either. Fieldwork's Hazy IPA, the Pulp, was really good! Probably the best hazy I've tried. It had a taste of orange, which was really good. I'm not even a IPA drinker, but liked this drink. The Mo Pulp is the DDH IPA (double dry hop) and tasted similar to Pulp, but had a slightly different aftertaste. I personally liked the Pulp better. The Don Picante (a chipotle smoked porter) was a bit dark and spicy. Fieldwork served fried pickle spears, which was interesting to try. On the piece I had, the batter wasn't too crispy. We also ordered the hot pretzel, which I didn't get to try, but must have been good because it was eaten up. Fieldwork has expanded their taproom since they first opened and now offers food from their own kitchen. The taproom is casual and comfortable for a hang out. The flight of 6 was $18 the flight of three was $9. Good brewing company in Midtown Sacramento.

Went two nights in a row... beer was great, food was tasty (who doesn't love Frito Pie from the bag) and staff steered me well. Great football viewing from the bar seats.

Fieldwork Brewing is hands down one of my favorite spots for craft beer. They are incredibly consistent across styles, and if you truly enjoy beer, I'd strongly argue it would be hard to find something here you don't like. Whether it's IPAs, lagers, or more creative offerings, everything is well executed and thoughtfully made. They brew one of my all time favorites, Coconut Milk. The pizza here is fabulous and has always been legit. It's consistently well made and pairs perfectly with the beer, making this an easy place to settle in for a while with friends. Between the consistently excellent beer, great food, and relaxed vibe. If you're looking for one of the better beer experiences in Sacramento with consistently good brews, great pizza, and good atmosphere, Fieldwork is absolutely worth a visit.

Alice H.

I've been to Fieldwork so many times at their Berkeley, San Leandro, San Mateo, and Napa locations. But this was my first time visiting the Sacramento location. I hada flight, and they all tasted really good. This location has a really large space, and they have a kitchen. The only downside was the wait time. It was quite long, even though there were not many customers at the time. There were only two staff members pouring the drinks.

The Willow Ballroom was it- I had my eyes on this place and crossed my fingers that one day I could get married here. Soon the time came and when my now husband and I toured the venue for the first time we were enchanted by the venue's beauty, detail, and amazing aesthetic. On our wedding day our family and friends were gushing over how incredible the Willow Ballroom was. Adjectives we have been hearing a lot are breathtaking, gorgeous, and Taylor Swift Love Story vibes. I completely agree. One reason it is breathtaking is the chandeliers and drapes. WOW, the first time I walked in they were setting up for an open house and even when everything wasn't fully set up it looked amazing! The height of the chandeliers and drapes are put at the perfect spot. The aisle I walked down on was lined with chandeliers, it made me feel like a Disney princess! All of the decor in the space is handpicked and well arranged. Every item of decor makes sense, nothing is too big or too small for the space. Also everything in the space is clean, classy, and elegant. During cocktail hour our family and friends loved the seating and table options and they said it added an extra special touch to our wedding. They also couldn't get over the beautiful giant mirrors that welcomed you into the venue. For the adjective gorgeous every step you take into the venue puts you in a state of awe. Even the bathrooms are decorated so nicely and cleanly! From the outside to inside space there are so many gems for spots to take pictures. They also have a private estate that has amazing greenery and is a pretty background for more wedding photos. Angelica and her family did a really great job giving space for couples to make their wedding picture dreams come to life. You might chuckle at the Taylor Swift Love Story adjective, but it is an absolute complement. Angelica provided a wonderful list of preferred vendors- we were able to get the vendor dream team. My family and friends couldn't stop talking about each of the vendors from signage to florist to the ice cream cart to photography etc. Usually there is just one vendor everyone loves but it seemed like nobody could pick their favorite because they were all SO good! Each of these vendors were familiar with the Willow Ballroom and all came together to emphasize the venue's magnificent features and celebrate our special day. They all took my wedding dreams and picked the best designs, colors, and food to match the venue perfectly where everyone was singing Love Story (Taylor's version) in their heads throughout the night. Angelica works well with all the vendors to inform them with accurate information and communicates in a detailed way and we are incredibly thankful for that! The Willow Ballroom is an absolute beautiful space and we highly recommend you getting married or hosting your event there!
