In that, the management staff at Fieldstone Apartments (Blair S. Jessica, Marilyn, among others), located at 3333 Hacks Cross Road, Memphis, TN 38119, gave false information to a resident of Northern California) about the readiness of an apartment (3279 Dartmouth Dr., Memphis TN 38119). Based on this information, I, the perspective tenant, made relocation arrangements which included: (1) giving a 30 days-notice to current landlord; (2) moving expensive (gas, food, lodging, storage costs, notarization of Fieldstone Apartments rental documents and fax services, and a total of $495.00 for move-in cost to the unit as described [3279 Dartmouth Dr.]); an additional cost of $650.00 for early termination of lease agreement (Crescent City, CA[a request to change the new lease date to 8/10/2015 was denied by Blair S. of Fieldstone Apartment]); and (3) as of 7/4/15, a daily lodging cost of $139.95 (discovered that the unit was not only not ready for new occupancy--but the condition of the unit was imply deplorable, a potential health risk. In that, carpets through-out the unit have not been sanitized; in fact, large stains were widespread, with smells of mold and mildew; the tub and exterior of the refrigerator had not been cleaned; the carpet in the entrance (front door) and front closet are also heavily soiled; the front door facing is covered with spider webs and other insects, in addition to what appears to be large oil spills, flanking the entrance of the door's concrete floor; the stairs leading to the unit are grossly covered with various large oil stains and other greasy spots combined with spiders webs and various insects' housings. The patio storage door could not be opened (locks rusted), and it took several attempts to open the front door because, again, the locks were old and rusted. The unit's condition is indicative of slum-lords situations or mass government housing units (poorly managed), a disturbing sight. Over a dozen pictures were taken. The hope is that the City of Memphis, state and local agencies, will investigate the situation. Official complaints have been file with the Memphis Better Business Bureau, the Tennessee Department of Real Estate, and other state and federal agencies as well as seeking legal consultation. read more

I moved to Memphis a year ago for grad school and was nervous about finding a decent apartment close enough to school that was safe, clean, and had attentive and professional management. Fieldstone has exceeded that. When there was a busted pipe in the apartment about me that soaked my carpet and caused water damage to my ceiling, almost immediately, maintenance identified the issue and management had my carpet cleaned the next day no charge. I hear horror stories about misfortunes in apartments all over the city and literally thank God I found this apartment just 2 months before school. At some point during the summer, there were a few episodes of break-ins and issues with the gates. Management, as mentioned before, is responsive, respectful, and hardworking. I appreciate the exceptional customer service and most of all, patience, that the team displays. I'm considering getting my PhD after I complete my Masters next year and believe I will remain at Fieldstone, possibly upgrading to a two-bedroom. Thanks for all you do, Fieldstone. I've lived in Fieldstone Phase 2 for a little over a year now and resigned my lease for another 18 months. I really really enjoy living here. My neighbors are friendly and mostly keep to themselves (which is how I like it/how I am) and knock on wood, I haven't had any issues. There are kids around the complex but I've never seen any do anything more than just be kids. The unit I moved into was clean and smoke free. Sometimes the breezeways and stairwells are a little dirty with dirt and bugs, but about twice a year they come through and power wash everything down which is really nice. Maintenance has always been really prompt and nice when I needed them and I've never had any issues with the office staff. I just wish I didn't have standard issue apartment carpet (laminate wood floors please!) because I have two cats who make it a little messy. Hopefully my deposits cover it all when I eventually move out. read more

My mother was hit by a drunk driver a few years ago, which left her unable to walk or sometimes stand without assistance. As a result my siblings and I found it necessary to make new living arrangements to assist her with living independently while we kept an eye on her. That's when I found the kindest agent i've ever had the pleasure of working with, Kelsey Savage. We toured the Fieldstone complex, had a pleasant and professional conversation about the grounds, and was motivated by Kelsey's honesty and energy. While going through apartment availability and selection process, Kelsey and the Fieldstone team were kind, patient, and accommodating. There is ample parking and the environment has been extremely peaceful. LOOK NO FURTHER, THIS IS THE PLACE TO CALL "HOME!!" If you want a complex that is safe, well kept, conveniently located and neighborly, this is the place!! All the amenities you are needing; alarms, 24 hour security, well lit parking, 2 dog parks, Luxor package retrieval (nothing left at your door), gym, laundromat-if you don't get washer/dryer, 2 car wash bays w/vacuums, pools, gas barbeque grills, movie theater, and the best looking apartments in the city!! If you like to walk or bike, this is a community of active tenants that likes to be out and about. Rachel and her staff, maintenance included, are the absolute best. I love living here (10+ years) because they take care of their tenants. No need to look any further, this is where you will want to be, so give them a call, and start packing. read more

I am going on 3 years as a resident at Fieldstone, and I am still happy with my choice. To start, I love the layout of my apartment and it is spacious. I enjoy my balcony and my garage, both allow pleasure and safety and are spacious too. I enjoy the pool area. We have many! I have not used all of the amenities Fieldstone offers, but it's great to know there is a fitness center I plan to use soon. The location is minutes from the expressway, making it easy to get to any part of town quickly. There are many restaurants in the area to satisfy your taste buds, as well as activities for you and your family. I will have to say, my only complaint is not having a clubhouse. I've asked and have been told they are working on it. Hopefully we will have one real soon read more

This has been the best living experience I've had in over 5 years of renting! I lived here once before, but now I believe they have new management and staff. I had the pleasure of working with the leasing agent Alandis ! They didn't have the floor plan that I wanted initially, but she didn't want to stop there. She was a sweetheart and she took me to a bigger, newer floor plan so that I could see something at least for waiting. She knew everything about the apartment, and it was gorgeous, and had a lake view. She sold it to my fiancé and I, and she just got me to renew my lease for another year! My apartment feels like home ! Keep Alandis around, everytime I go to the office I only wait for her to help me with anything ! read more

I have lived in a lot of apartments all over the place, Fieldstone is hands my favorite. They have great dog parks for my dog , they have a pond he likes to walk around and my favorite part is the gym and car charging station which I use often at no charge. On move my move in day the girls in the office were busy, but they still showed me around and treated me as if i wasn't just another number. I appreciated that and all of them seemed to be helping each other out. I worked with Kelsey and she is so nice and went out of her way to show me everything. I would recommend these apartments and i can't wait to hit up all the good food places near by and check out the pools when they open! read more

I have been living at Fieldstone for over 5 years now. There have been ups and downs along the way and there is always room for improvement, but overall it's a good apartment complex. Maintenance is consistent in timing and quality, the apartments themselves are good and don't have thin walls, and the facilities are great. One thing I would highlight is the location. Not too far from access to the city and stores but out of it enough that you get some tranquility and peace. I have researched other nearby apartments in the past to see if I was still getting a good deal and every time I decided I was in the best place I could be for the moment. Recommended. read more

The Fieldstone Apartments is a great apartment complex to reside in. I've been living here since 2020 and I have yet to have any complaints. Property is kept clean, when putting in tickets for maintenance the requests are handled quickly. I would recommend this complex to anyone looking to move. I've never had any issues with my rent. The apartment complex is very involved with that with their tenants. There's always an event majority of the holidays. The leasing office communicates well whenever there is an issue on site. Overall I give the Fieldstone apartments a 10 out of 10 if I could give them 1 million stars I would. read more

I am living in Phase 6. I have been living in Fieldstone Apartments since July 2019. For the most part, Fieldstone is good if you live phase 5 and above. They have got nice apartments, excellent maintenance team, gym, pools and dog-parks. My only complaint is the staff at the leasing office. Some of them are really nice and friendly, some others are extremely rude and disrespectful. During some days the wait-times are extremely long at the leasing office. While they have a gated community, its somehow still not safe at night to walk inside the gated area - there have been several mugging incidents in the past. read more

I am a current resident of Fieldstone Apartments and have enjoyed living here. It is in a great area, if you want to be away from the downtown area. The neighborhood is very quiet and the residents are friendly. The maintance staff has been helpful fixing a few small things in my apartment. I havent had much contact with the office staff other than my work orders. The last time I was in the office for a work order Kelsey Savage assisted me. Not only did she get someone to my apartment quickly she even followed up the next day to make sure the problem was corrected. read more

I've been living in Fieldstone about 2 years now, the community is great. The property is kept up very nicely, has a very clean and safe feel. The staff is also very nice and professional, on the few occasions I've gone and talked to them I dealt with Rasie Turner. She's very nice and welcoming, always smiling. She made sure the problems I had with my apartment were fixed with in 24 hours and I didn't have to remind them. Alandas was my leasing agent and she is phenomenal! I moved from NV to TN and was unable to tour in person prior to the move. She provided all the information I needed and was professional and went above and beyond my expectations. If I ever experience any issues, she is always making sure it gets handled in a timely manner. The location is beautiful and the amenities are great! My experience with Fieldstone Apartments has been wonderful. I love it here. The ladies, all of them, are friendly and courteous. I have always been treated with respect and kindness! Alicia has been a great person to help me out with everything. The apartments have been well maintained and the upgradations in Phase 1 and Phase 2 make them really appealing. The community feels super safe with the constant patrolling through the evening and night. The only areas they should concentrate is solving maintenance issues instead of just addressing them and also pest control for entire buildings. It would make the complex the best in the area. read more
