I would give this place less than 0 stars if I could. I lived in a renovated apt in Newburgh and it was a nightmare from start to finish. I had mice coming in from the improper insulation of the stove, cabinets, and kitchen sink. They only send maintenance over once a month so I had to wait until they were able to send someone out. When they did send someone they only put down traps and did not address the holes where the mice were coming in from. The heating/cooling elements were pretty but were junk and weren't effective often. The people in their office were slow to reply to any kind of issue and were often dismissive. Upon moving out I was given pictures of random things to justify why they weren't returning my full deposit and was given the run around for 2 months. They failed to itemize what repairs had to be made to justify taking $150 out of my deposit. I received my apartment with a dirty washing machine, stove, and cabinets, and have video of the mice running through my living room. I had numerous issues with this place which is why I only stayed one year. People should avoid this company at all cost! read more

They denied my application, we are in need of an apartment because my landlord is selling the building. Fidelity said there was inconsistency but sure had no problem keeping the fee I paid. Horrible business, I do not recommend because they just want your money and they want to gentrify this city. read more

Horrible Establishment .... they say they are all about the community and helping individuals finding a home ... dealt with them on separate occasions and had two horrible experiences .... the first time I applied for a apartment and was role I met all the requirement so I was ready to apply and sign the lease ... they wanted First months, last months and security.... once I told them that they cannot legally ask for last months rent anymore even though they did, all of a sudden they revoked the offer, and the apartment fell through. Upsetting, to say the least ... left them alone for a few months, once a apartment came on the market that I like it happened to be Fidelity Again , I figure hey maybe things changed, I'll give them another chance. Applied for another apartment. They called me saying that the maximum occupancy for the apartment (1BDR) did not fit our needs (I thought tenants made that decision) it was 2 adults and a 2 year old. My two year old doesn't need his own room at this time. They then recommended me to a property in a downtown area where the crime rate is pretty high. NO THANK YOU! after that I was sure I was done with this company ... once again I made the mistake of trying to give them another chance .. another apartment that was affordable and in a decent area became available... inquired-but heard nothing, reached out to them and was told my income did not qualify? I know my income could clearly Qualify me for this unit My total income did not qualify according to them ... which I know is a lie... just all negative experiences .... avoid this establishment at all cost!!!!! read more

Let's see where do I begin! Fidelity taken over a property that I have rented for the last 3 years from a previous, slap a bandaid on the problem company. I have nothing good to say about either. I asked for screens for my house windows..they refused to put REAL screens in my window because the previous manager had dropped off those cheap slider screens last year. My bathroom floor had water damage which caused them to have to rip the whole floor up. That was poorly done my toilet wasn't secured, my walls needed to be repainted where they moved the sink...when I complained, whoever they sent did a crappy paint job. You can see paint streaks all over my bathroom wall. It would have been better off if they just left it alone. The border/tile that was put around the bottom, poorly done! The caulk looks like my 4 year old applied it! Moving forward, a bird managed to get into my fireplace, you would think they would figure out how to cover the top or secure the faceplate on fireplace so that doesn't happen again, nope! My gutters are hanging by a hair if you ask me. The outside of my house needs to be power washed tremendously. The windows are from 1869 which causes us to freeze in the winter if we don't cover them with plastic. The structure of this house is just a piece of shit and they are doing nothing about it! Asked for my grass to be cut that took them a whole week to come do to where I just payed someone to cut it. Then the nerve of them to raise my rent!!! For what!!!!!!! They won't update not an inch of this crappy house as soon as my lease is up I'm out of here and I hope the next tenant they get tear this place to the ground!! When you have good tenants that aren't causing any damage or accruing legal fees, tickets, etc you treat them good!!! Update the freaking property already slumbags. I will be taking all of these concerns to the city! I'm sure not one person in that office has to leave uncomfortably why should I read more
