Fidelity is an honest, reputable company with hard working advisors that have educated me on the economy and investments. They have helped my investments to grow and provide security for me. My, advisor, Bradly McIntyre has returned phone calls promptly and has always made himself available to meet to reviews my portfolio. He has also advocated for me so that issues with an outside advisor group were resolved in my favor. I strongly recommend Brad and Fidelity. Please keep in mind that no investment advisor can accurately predict short term market success. However, corporate profits increase significantly over 10-15-20 year periods and stocks rise with them. If you invest for the long term you will build success and wealth. read more

I transferred $30K to Fidelity to begin trading stocks. After accepting my money, they put it on hold so that I couldn't invest it or pull it back out. They said they needed bank statements to prove the money was mine and not some kind of fraud. I sent them the bank statements, but they still refused to give me access to MY MONEY. They said, "Call back in 3 weeks", which I did. They still won't give me access to MY MONEY. I now realize that they have hundreds of complaints online for terrible service. I've been using Fidelity for about 30 years and have had very few issues with them. I use them primarily for stock executions and other similar account services. They've been pretty reliable. Every so often something takes longer than what I think it should, but I continue to use them and they are helpful and escalate appropriately. I've also use Vanguard, which is also a nice shop, but I don't like their limited hours of service, but they do have the lowest fees, so it's a trade off. I hate Vanguard's trading platform, but it's a preference. Now the Paramus office location makes it convenient to get some stuff done quickly if I cannot do it on the telephone. It's also a pleasure to avoid having to go to a bank to get the medallion certification that some transfers require. read more

Horrible customer Service, no one can help me in the Branch or at the 800#, my account has been "Restricted" for a year, unacceptable...

I have been trying to convert my account into my Trust since Feb 2021. Original documents were sent to Fidelity. I received no follow up. When I contacted Fidelity Customer Service, they could not locate my documents, even though I provided tracking information. It is now May 2021, the situation is not resolved and I have had no follow up from Fidelity Customer service. There are very long wait times on hold to speak to a representative. Very disappointed in this well known institution. read more

Fidelity Investments run away from them. Maybe I should clarify the Corp. level. Can you believe when I tried to rollover my IRA to another company too many phone calls, many reps and it still took over a week. You can't even get in touch with them via phone. Big runaround horrible experience. Take your $$$ and run. Other investment companies are much more knowledgeable, available via phone, and say the correct thing is to the client.
