Fidelity...what a lie of a name. Their service for wi fi sucks. Always buffering, sometimes cannot even get the main screen. Have called and service people, while courteous, blame it on Netflix, other channels, or apps, everything but themselves. When none of the TVs work in the house it is not the apps but Fidelity. I cannot say how badly Fidelity is for crap. You can count on them for nothing. Go with the new fiber optics providers if you can. Of course, this is Lawton and so services, restaurants and utilities are never on par with a real city but still you'd think the people that run this town would try their best to have good services and attract decent restaurants and decent utility companies. But they don't give a damn and offer contracts (in citizen's names) for garbage. If I wasn't a long time resident with roots here, just based on services I'd move. if you live here. long enough you just assume this is how life is everywhere. Avoid Fidelity at all costs, they have more excuses for their shoddy services than the US government. I'm embarrassed to host friends when visiting. Consistently a bad service provider, always buffering, rude employees I was told I could fix the problem on my own by the service people that came on a call...if I could have figured it out I would have done so. I don't pay money for lack of help or service. I will share this info with the employees of the company I direct and encourage them to check out new service providers that have just move to the area. Fidelity has had a monopoly on service providing in this area for far to long. Fidelity Communications also states on their website there is a local office, this is untrue as it is only for their trucks and storage. You cannot pay a bill there or directly speak to anyone. Have had good service for the past few years but recently I had to get new equipment because the old stopped working. The technician came out on time and did a great job except after they left I discovered that the brand new equipment was faulty. Called back and had to wait a week for the next available appointment. The technician came out before the scheduled appointment. He missed the appointment. I called back hoping to get him to come back later in the day but nope couldn't get anyone out for another week. We had a hold order put on a cable burial at my elderly parents house as some work was being done in their back yard. The burial team showed up and refused the hold order and did a half ass burial job. Literally buried half, ran it through the yard and outside their easement. Makes no sense what-so-ever. When I call, the Lawton supervisor will not return a call knowing that the contractor is supposed to resume work on Monday and that they need to remove the crap work before Monday, honor their hold order, and bury the cable correctly when the hold order is removed. Elderly parents with dementia in tears! Way to go Fidelity, especially the idiot that buried the cable and the superstar maintenance stupervisor that won't make it right. Poor value. The only reason why I haven't left them is because they have a monopoly. Some examples of the poor quality of cable and internet services: My tv tuner interrupts programs almost every day with an emergency test signal; Internet connection is through a supplied modem that loses it's connection and has to be reset every day. Service has really degraded in the past few years. To boot, prices have risen over $100/mo since I signed up. If we weren't surrounded by trees and other obstructions, I would have switched to StarLink -- which is very reliable and would be about $80-100 cheaper per month. read more

The service technician was quite competent and explained everything that he was doing to correct the problem that I was having. And with me being not very tech savvy, it was much appreciated. And this really made me feel that I was appreciated. My appointment was scheduled for between the hours of 10:00 am and 12:00 pm. I work from home and can't even get through the day without issues. They're the only option here in Marshall if you don't count satellite. Looking into 5G, I can't take any longer. Recently closed my fidelity account due to us moving, but over all the experience with fidelity throughout the entire process was nice and smooth. All through out the set-up process they were helpful and clear with their services, the set-up was fast and the service for our condo was reliable and fast. Through out the 3 months of service we didn't have any issues with large drops of speed or outages throughout a few major storms we had this past May-July timeframe. The cancelation of our service was easy, and I had a very pleasurable experience with the service members I came into contact with at their office. Finding good, consistent internet with friendly focus on customer service is hard to come by, and I'm glad to say I was pleasantly surprised with this branch. The only negative I will add is the set up crew was....odd....and having three guys inside our condo seemed a bit excessive and slightly uncomfortable, but they didn't go out of their way to make the experience awkward. Also wish the 100MB plan could be like $5-$10 cheaper but since the service was reliable that's not going to be a stain on this review. Overall I was satisfied with Fidelity and those representatives I came into contact with, and I will be recommending Fidelity to my fellow service members who come into town. Cheers! read more

The worse cable company in the US poor service subpar internet damaged modems they give out just all around poor. With how small of a customer base they have wait periods for service start ups-ridiculous. Constant mistakes in rescheduling. Pay for 1g service and get 700mb so 7/10 a C average speed when hard wired in with a cat 6 Ethernet I know what I'm talking about fix yourselves. I've had Cox, Comcast, Verizon Fios and AT&T U-Verse not one of these companies had these issues only thing that comes close is wait time in install service with AT&T but that's in California your in middle of bumville Oklahoma with 1/10th the population. Was great in the beginning. Cheap, reliable, fast. Now slow, constant outages, and high. Send your bill early, and if the mail happens to be slow they still charge a late fee. Fidelity has always had pretty quick turn arounds for techs to visit and help with issues. I just moved houses and within one day they sent a tech named damon who not only set up my new router but also added a wifi booster because the length of my house he also stayed and made sure it worked on all systems and that the wifi booster had enough range. I truly appreciate that level of care in the customer service industry you dont see that happen to much anymore. Thank you damon and fidelity for taking care of us. read more

Low-class company!!! Cable techs showed up soon after 9:00am and wanted access to our back yard for "repairs". We are not customers of FC!! Upshot, they blocked the trash can, the first pickup day after Thanksgiving!!! We got a red flag from the city. Very communicative and detailed on all the plans available and options. My set up appointment is rather quick as well and they worked with my busy schedule to get me set up when exactly I needed to. I have been using fidelity communications for a number of years now and they use to be well.....A lot better then what it is now . The speed, seems to get slower and slower or it just won't connect at all and have to unplug the router to reset it but it seems that even unplugging and doing reset isn't doing much good. So I called them up and had them cut off my wifi I mean I wasn't using it and I didn't even know what the password was for it so I had them cut the wifi off on the 30th of Jan 2022 it is now March 26 2022 and still works like a slug. I can't believe that they up the price on this from $48 at first then to $64 now it is $77 monthly and works worse the a slug. I still have to unplug it in hopes that would reset it but It is useless. I know that calling them now would be pointless They always come up with some Bullsh*t line in hopes that they can shut you up So I am just going to bring it here and let more people know how sh*ty this company has got I'm going to keep a copy of this here just incase it doesn't go through this time when I try to submit this here. I didn't think things could get worse after moving from Texas and having Time Warner cable & internet but Fidelity takes the cake. They offer zero support to streaming channels via Apple TV. I already pay for HBO and Showtime but Fidelity does not support these apps ( HBO Now, HBOGO, Showtime Anytime or ESPN 3). This company has inspired me to drop landline cable at my next duty station. When I first moved to New Haven, I had the total package- internet, phone and cable. A year later, I elected to cancel the cable as we stream and do not watch tv that often. I was then told that in order to have internet, I would have to have the landline too. I explained that I never use the landline and rely on my cell. They said I would have to have it anyway. I told them just to give me the cheapest plan. Well, then I noticed that I no longer had caller ID. Apparently that was their "punishment" for having me disconnect their cable and because I did not have the cable, they said I could not have call waiting. I was angry but okay. It is what it is. Anyway, fast forward a month. I had to go to a meeting and I left my teenager to babysit my youngest for a few hours. Well, they had an emergency and could not get a hold of me. Why? Because the home phone would not allow them to dial any number that was not local- that means they could not dial anything other than a 573 number, could not dial cell phones and could not dial 800 numbers. Everything turned out okay as thankfully the neighbor was home. Fidelity, because of their "wrath" for me disconnecting my cable, put my children in a very bad situation. I never heard of a phone company charging $25 for just a phone and neither providing caller ID not allowing the owner to dial any other number other than landlines with that particular area code. Well, I had the internet and I do the majority of work from home, utilizing the internet and my iphone. Because we are in a dead zone, I also have to rely on the internet so I can make phone calls as I need WiFi calling. Well, the internet goes out about 16 times a day, I have been dropped out of phone conferences, Skyping with clients and family. Also, I missed several phone calls from various jobs due to their sketchy internet and lost a ton of money. Yet still, every month I get that $90 phone bill. I wish I could go with another company but I live in an area where Fidelity has a contract- meaning no other companies can offer the same service. So ultimately, Fidelity fiendishly is screwing people over and taking advantage of them. We are looking to move and I most certainly will not move to an area that has a contract with Fidelity or restrictions causing Fidelity to be the only service. Fidelity is a horrible company. If you have a choice, definitely pass them up. Don't give Fidelity your business. read more

Aside from the occasional disconnects and throttle issues with my service that I pay for, that's not even the tip of the iceberg. My biggest complaint is how I only pay for internet but yet my bill gets increased every 6 months. I've had Fidelity internet for about 3 years now. Every so often I have to call and complain about my service to get them to "reset" it, in a sense. It's as if they slow down my connection and wait for me to complain in order to give me back the speeds I pay for. They also have increased the price EVERY year. But other providers aren't available to me, so they are just squeezing me for money. This company is terrible. I definitely do NOT recommend them at all. Even the people working at the local office are rude and not helpful. The only good thing I have to say about Fidelity is that the internet is usually consistent.
