Recently closed my fidelity account due to us moving, but over all the experience with fidelity throughout the entire process was nice and smooth. All through out the set-up process they were helpful and clear with their services, the set-up was fast and the service for our condo was reliable and fast. Through out the 3 months of service we didn't have any issues with large drops of speed or outages throughout a few major storms we had this past May-July timeframe. The cancelation of our service was easy, and I had a very pleasurable experience with the service members I came into contact with at their office. Finding good, consistent internet with friendly focus on customer service is hard to come by, and I'm glad to say I was pleasantly surprised with this branch. The only negative I will add is the set up crew was....odd....and having three guys inside our condo seemed a bit excessive and slightly uncomfortable, but they didn't go out of their way to make the experience awkward. Also wish the 100MB plan could be like $5-$10 cheaper but since the service was reliable that's not going to be a stain on this review. Overall I was satisfied with Fidelity and those representatives I came into contact with, and I will be recommending Fidelity to my fellow service members who come into town. Cheers! read more

Fidelity Communications - Internet Service Providers Near Me - Lawton, Oklahoma

Fidelity...what a lie of a name. Their service for wi fi sucks. Always buffering, sometimes cannot even get the main screen. Have called and service people, while courteous, blame it on Netflix, other channels, or apps, everything but themselves. When none of the TVs work in the house it is not the apps but Fidelity. I cannot say how badly Fidelity is for crap. You can count on them for nothing. Go with the new fiber optics providers if you can. Of course, this is Lawton and so services, restaurants and utilities are never on par with a real city but still you'd think the people that run this town would try their best to have good services and attract decent restaurants and decent utility companies. But they don't give a damn and offer contracts (in citizen's names) for garbage. If I wasn't a long time resident with roots here, just based on services I'd move. if you live here. long enough you just assume this is how life is everywhere. Avoid Fidelity at all costs, they have more excuses for their shoddy services than the US government. I'm embarrassed to host friends when visiting. No wonder our young people flee Lawton after college. read more

Consistently a bad service provider, always buffering, rude employees I was told I could fix the problem on my own by the service people that came on a call...if I could have figured it out I would have done so. I don't pay money for lack of help or service. I will share this info with the employees of the company I direct and encourage them to check out new service providers that have just move to the area. Fidelity has had a monopoly on service providing in this area for far to long. Fidelity Communications also states on their website there is a local office, this is untrue as it is only for their trucks and storage. You cannot pay a bill there or directly speak to anyone. I would not recommend Fidelity Communications to my worst enemy...is that strong enough? read more

Have had good service for the past few years but recently I had to get new equipment because the old stopped working. The technician came out on time and did a great job except after they left I discovered that the brand new equipment was faulty. Called back and had to wait a week for the next available appointment. The technician came out before the scheduled appointment. He missed the appointment. I called back hoping to get him to come back later in the day but nope couldn't get anyone out for another week. Still waiting for a technician.... read more

We had a hold order put on a cable burial at my elderly parents house as some work was being done in their back yard. The burial team showed up and refused the hold order and did a half ass burial job. Literally buried half, ran it through the yard and outside their easement. Makes no sense what-so-ever. When I call, the Lawton supervisor will not return a call knowing that the contractor is supposed to resume work on Monday and that they need to remove the crap work before Monday, honor their hold order, and bury the cable correctly when the hold order is removed. Elderly parents with dementia in tears! Way to go Fidelity, especially the idiot that buried the cable and the superstar maintenance stupervisor that won't make it right. No respect for you two jerks! read more

Poor value. The only reason why I haven't left them is because they have a monopoly. Some examples of the poor quality of cable and internet services: My tv tuner interrupts programs almost every day with an emergency test signal; Internet connection is through a supplied modem that loses it's connection and has to be reset every day. Service has really degraded in the past few years. To boot, prices have risen over $100/mo since I signed up. If we weren't surrounded by trees and other obstructions, I would have switched to StarLink -- which is very reliable and would be about $80-100 cheaper per month. read more

The service technician was quite competent and explained everything that he was doing to correct the problem that I was having. And with me being not very tech savvy, it was much appreciated. And this really made me feel that I was appreciated. My appointment was scheduled for between the hours of 10:00 am and 12:00 pm. My problem had been diagnosed and corrected before the scheduled time. Now that's customer service. A heartfelt thanks to technician Douglas Smith and Fidelity Communications. read more

I was unhappy with my present internet service, AT&T. I called yesterday to Fidelity communications, Spoke to a respectful representative, I liked their prices so I made an appointment for today. The installers were prompt, professional and communicative and cleaned up after themselves, my internet is working awesome. I was very impressed with them and would like to recommend their services if you are unhappy with your present internet service. read more

Dear Fidelity Communications, As a decades long user of your services, there is an issue I would like to bring to your attention. Sometimes in Oklahoma we have precipitation in the form of "rain." I know, it surprises most of us too. "Rain" is a pretty common occurrence in most of the country, so if you could maybe talk to another company in an industry similar to yours and see what THEY do to keep their services running during "rain" I'm not the only person that would appreciate this greatly. read more

They're the worst. Weekly outages. They charge you $87/mth for 100mb. I pay for 1GB which means nothing if it isn't up long enough to use it. I work from home and can't even get through the day without issues. They're the only option here in Marshall if you don't count satellite. Looking into 5G, I can't take any longer. If you have other options, use them. Be warned. read more

Just had a service call from Fidelity, kept dropping my signal. Such a nice technician, Damon "Apollo". Very knowledgeable and helpful. I know a lot of people have dropped Fidelity when other internet providers finally came here but I've never had a problem getting pretty quick response when I've had an issue. Thanks, Apollo!! read more

The worse cable company in the US poor service subpar internet damaged modems they give out just all around poor. With how small of a customer base they have wait periods for service start ups-ridiculous. Constant mistakes in rescheduling. Pay for 1g service and get 700mb so 7/10 a C average speed when hard wired in with a cat 6 Ethernet I know what I'm talking about fix yourselves. I've had Cox, Comcast, Verizon Fios and AT&T U-Verse not one of these companies had these issues only thing that comes close is wait time in install service with AT&T but that's in California your in middle of bumville Oklahoma with 1/10th the population. Get it together. read more

Pay for the best they offer and it can't even play Spotify. This is the worst internet I've ever had an I lived in Iraq, Afghanistan and Africa. read more

Was great in the beginning. Cheap, reliable, fast. Now slow, constant outages, and high. Send your bill early, and if the mail happens to be slow they still charge a late fee. What a horrable way to treat long time customers. Started out at 25 dollars a month 4 or 5 years ago, now up to 64 and its slower. Gonna start looking for better options if they can't treat loyal customers better. read more

Very poor quality of service for the price of premium service! internet comes and goes -tv service so overpriced! You pay for a lot more than you get ! read more

Absolute worst service ever!!! Terrible cable, internet and even worse customer service. I've been on hold 35 minutes listening to a recording telling me how great they are; that someone will be with me shortly; and that they're "dedicated to providing superior customer service". Smdh! Totally Worthless - and no other options for where I live. Can I give a negative 10 rating? Disgusted Customer read more

Low-class company!!! Cable techs showed up soon after 9:00am and wanted access to our back yard for "repairs". We are not customers of FC!! Upshot, they blocked the trash can, the first pickup day after Thanksgiving!!! We got a red flag from the city. I had to restrain my dog since they kept trying to enter the property before I could crate him!! And I'm still pissed. My dog is still pissed!!!! Low-class, inconsiderate clown show!!!! read more

Fidelity has always had pretty quick turn arounds for techs to visit and help with issues. I just moved houses and within one day they sent a tech named damon who not only set up my new router but also added a wifi booster because the length of my house he also stayed and made sure it worked on all systems and that the wifi booster had enough range. I truly appreciate that level of care in the customer service industry you dont see that happen to much anymore. Thank you damon and fidelity for taking care of us. read more

Still the worst cable ever - tonight I was trying to watch a show on Fox channel 412 and cable went out every 2 minutes. This happens often, glad I don't watch much tv. read more

The Internet and cable service is reliable. And I would recommend Fidelity to my friends.

would rate 0 stars. They teased me woth a promotion and then shot my bill from 120 for tv and internet to 180. They never mentioned i would loose my "new customer discount. i want to add an access point across my house( basically a small device that picks uo your wifi signal and turns it into an actual internet cord outlet), nope, not allowed. im not allowed to extend my own network, wtf!? A tech came out who had not idea how to accomplish my simple task amd then said "ohh no, that, no you cant do that, our routers wont let you" WOW, the absolute worst internet company ive ever had!! read more

I cannot even begin to express my disappointment in the internet service provided by Fidelity Communications. I pay over $80 a month and get the continuing circle searching for a internet connection at least 4-5 times a day. I received more bandwidth in a 1500 population small town in rural Idaho than less than 1 mile from downtown Marshall in Texas. East Texas hospitality my ***! read more

Just started my Fidelity WiFi journey again because I moved, and the person who set me up by the name of Dawn was absolutely amazing. Very communicative and detailed on all the plans available and options. My set up appointment is rather quick as well and they worked with my busy schedule to get me set up when exactly I needed to. I've had fidelity before and they are always good to me customer service wise and connection wise too. read more

Customer Service is the worst I've ever experienced. They have had long outage issues for 4 days with no communication to their customers. I have been hung up on for inquiring about and ETA due to everything we have running on their internet... called back and have been on hold for 5 hours while doing other stuff. Call never answered. read more

I have been using fidelity communications for a number of years now and they use to be well.....A lot better then what it is now . The speed, seems to get slower and slower or it just won't connect at all and have to unplug the router to reset it but it seems that even unplugging and doing reset isn't doing much good. So I called them up and had them cut off my wifi I mean I wasn't using it and I didn't even know what the password was for it so I had them cut the wifi off on the 30th of Jan 2022 it is now March 26 2022 and still works like a slug. I can't believe that they up the price on this from $48 at first then to $64 now it is $77 monthly and works worse the a slug. I still have to unplug it in hopes that would reset it but It is useless. I know that calling them now would be pointless They always come up with some Bullsh*t line in hopes that they can shut you up So I am just going to bring it here and let more people know how sh*ty this company has got I'm going to keep a copy of this here just incase it doesn't go through this time when I try to submit this here. That is just how bad the internet service has got with this company. This is not worth paying nearly $80 Fuqin dollars for only to have it work about 50% of the time THIS IS JUST BULLSH*T read more

Not liking how they have been running their business raising the internet speed without letting anyone know about it and when you ask about it and if this is going to effect my bill they tell you there is no extra charge and then a few months down the road suddenly the price starts hiking started at about $5 extra from an already $54 a mth and now at almost $60 a mth and now it's been going up like 50 cents a month for the past few months and there was no mention of this to happen WTF Fidelity you use to be reasonably price what's going on ? I didn't think things could get worse after moving from Texas and having Time Warner cable & internet but Fidelity takes the cake. They offer zero support to streaming channels via Apple TV. I already pay for HBO and Showtime but Fidelity does not support these apps ( HBO Now, HBOGO, Showtime Anytime or ESPN 3). This company has inspired me to drop landline cable at my next duty station. It's overpriced and the customer service is absent. read more

I am giving a 3 star for the quality of the service.. BUT...... I would NOT give even a 1 star for the people they have working in this office. 1. You pretty much ALWAYS get some type of hold with voice message to get a call back. 2. You ask a question and they are not able to answer your question! It seems as if the person answering the phone has no clue what customer service means! They have no idea how to answer billing questions! They have a hard time looking information up on the computer! Then you get put on hold to have them get back on the phone and tell you to come by the office to get your questions answered!!! Who has time for that?? Is this not why I called your office?? WOW!! The workers need more morning training sessions on how to answer billing questions.. How to look information up on the computer.. And most of all how to KEEP YOUR CURRENT CUSTOMERS!! THIS IS WHAT YOU DO 5 DAYS A WEEK PEOPLE!!!!!!!! GET IT TOGETHER!! read more

Said they were fixing internet on Sept 29 2018 at about 2200 hours said it would up and running at 0600 am here I'm writing a review at 2056 on Sept 30 2018 they said they were fixing internet so we wouldn't have an outage well........what do you call this and they don't know when it will be up and running I already left their cable service very close to cutting off my internet with them as well so trash......customer services was actually nice but cant do anything so kind of pointless read more

I'd give 0 stars but that's not possible! We have not had wifi for 2 weeks we have continuously called and got though 1 time! We have a service note and no one has called us back to make a date to set up to get it fixed. If you think were at all paying our December bill you sent us you have us all wrong. This used to be one of the best companies for service!!! However, it is now one of the worst!!! The staff is great and they try very hard to makeup for the fact that there is not enough of them. I wish that they would follow other medium to large corporation and do what is needed to hire more people; maybe give the new hires more money, bonuses, and or better benefits. To bad it is not like the company it was 28 years ago. read more

I've been a Fidelity customer for going on 13 months. They have been providing horrible service for the past month to six weeks. I don't know why, but we don't use Internet for just entertainment. If we had another choice, we would switch service. However, their service has not always been bad. Even during the worst weather over the last year, we never had more than a temporary outage. Our service has remained consistently as fast as it should be. I'm sure that whatever their current problem is, they will resolve it in time. Maybe the time it took to resolve it would be shorter if there was competition in the area. I cannot speak about their cable service. I only have Internet. read more

When I first moved to New Haven, I had the total package- internet, phone and cable. A year later, I elected to cancel the cable as we stream and do not watch tv that often. I was then told that in order to have internet, I would have to have the landline too. I explained that I never use the landline and rely on my cell. They said I would have to have it anyway. I told them just to give me the cheapest plan. Well, then I noticed that I no longer had caller ID. Apparently that was their "punishment" for having me disconnect their cable and because I did not have the cable, they said I could not have call waiting. I was angry but okay. It is what it is. Anyway, fast forward a month. I had to go to a meeting and I left my teenager to babysit my youngest for a few hours. Well, they had an emergency and could not get a hold of me. Why? Because the home phone would not allow them to dial any number that was not local- that means they could not dial anything other than a 573 number, could not dial cell phones and could not dial 800 numbers. Everything turned out okay as thankfully the neighbor was home. Fidelity, because of their "wrath" for me disconnecting my cable, put my children in a very bad situation. I never heard of a phone company charging $25 for just a phone and neither providing caller ID not allowing the owner to dial any other number other than landlines with that particular area code. Well, I had the internet and I do the majority of work from home, utilizing the internet and my iphone. Because we are in a dead zone, I also have to rely on the internet so I can make phone calls as I need WiFi calling. Well, the internet goes out about 16 times a day, I have been dropped out of phone conferences, Skyping with clients and family. Also, I missed several phone calls from various jobs due to their sketchy internet and lost a ton of money. Yet still, every month I get that $90 phone bill. I wish I could go with another company but I live in an area where Fidelity has a contract- meaning no other companies can offer the same service. So ultimately, Fidelity fiendishly is screwing people over and taking advantage of them. We are looking to move and I most certainly will not move to an area that has a contract with Fidelity or restrictions causing Fidelity to be the only service. Fidelity is a horrible company. If you have a choice, definitely pass them up. Don't give Fidelity your business. read more

Aside from the occasional disconnects and throttle issues with my service that I pay for, that's not even the tip of the iceberg. My biggest complaint is how I only pay for internet but yet my bill gets increased every 6 months. It won't be long and I'll be paying over $100 a month for something that doesn't always work when I need it. As soon as I find another provider, I'm switching. And I suggest you all do too. read more
