We met ahead of time and she was unbelievably helpful in not only planning how the photographs would go, but also the logistics of the proposal itself. I had planned on a beach proposal and I was able to give Julie a cooler with my now fiancée's favorite snacks and a bottle of champagne. Not only did Julie bring the cooler so that my fiancée had no idea, but she also brought a blanket for us! As much as I appreciated her being a great assistant in my proposal plans, it truly was her masterful photography skills that blew me away. Julie was able to capture our walk up the beach, the actual proposal, and then a number of photos afterwards. I'm not sure how, but Julie was able to get photographs of my fiancée and I on the beach in Saco on an August Saturday at noontime without anyone in the background!
