Lady was extremely rude on the phone, she was toxic enough to waste my time to give her a bad review. Karma's a bitch

I love the needles. I've been collecting one or two a year, and treasure them. However my last…read moreexperience left a lot to be desired. I'd ordered needles to start a special project. The size 8 needle arrived with a size 3 cable. When I called, the person who answered the phone obviously was more concerned about the incorrect cable getting back to them. I spoke to a couple other in my knitting group who said they'd had similar experiences. In a return call to the first representative, I told her of other knitters telling me they'd had similar issues, she said she'd never heard such a thing. Based on these Yelp reviews, I think that was less than an honest answer. When I spend this kind of money for the Cadillac of needles, I think there needs to be some customer service included. IN THE END, when pressed to speak to a supervisor (and I mean pressed), I did receive a return call. This woman rectified the situation immediately. No questions asked. She was very kind, apologized for any confusion. I received the correct cable within a day and all is right with the world. Too bad I had to fight for it!

But when I ordered a pair of circulars for a project, I called to ask about how quickly things ship, and I was told that if I ordered before Noon, the needles would ship same day. AND I paid a huge premium for overnight delivery. (Anyone who has purchased Signaure needles will be shocked to learn that I paid nearly as much for shipping as I did for the needles.) When I didn't get a shipping email, I called today - they day they were supposed to be delivered - to get the tracking number, and I discovered that "for some reason, those were not shipped out. I will see if I can get those out to you today." From reading the reviews here, it is clear that, while they make wonderful needles, their customer service is a huge weakness, and I am very disappointed.

After some research, she found Sew and Save in Racine, WI. She called the store while we were on the way for directions which helped us a great deal. When we arrived, we were welcomed by a kind staff. One of the women came out an carried the machine from my car. Mom and I walked around the store for a few minutes and she loved the place. For $119, they cleaned it up. When we went to pick it up, Jim, the owner was there. He took the cover off the threading mechanism and demonstrated to us exactly how to thread the machine and what he did to clean it up. He explained to us how good thread worked better because it did not deteriorate like the cheap stuff. He gave my mother a couple rolls of the good stuff as we left. He also invited her to come to the store and use their machines free to do some quilting work, then loaded the machine in my car. We had a great experience every minute we were in the store and they did quality work for a reasonable price. For all your sewing needs, Jim's store is a good choice.

My favorites are Isager, Sandnes Garn, Rauma, Hillesvag, and Jamieson's of Shetland. These are top tier yarn companies that are not the easiest to find online, and I have been so happy they are always in stock at this store. -The shop images are clear and easy to see, and I always find it very smooth and pleasant to shop online. I find myself using their site to compare yarn colors and get complete yarn information all the time since they list everything out & their images are high resolution. -They usually process my order quickly, and a huge bonus that they offer 10% certain brands and free ball winding. - I always get free shipping, and my order is easy to track and usually arrives within the work week. Overall I highly recommend them!

Seated around the tables, it always looks like a group of friends have gathered to share time, stories, and craft--yet these are classes. Yes, you can sign up and join the party! And I have. Not only are there classes for specific projects, there are also classes where everyone is working on their own individual projects. Oh, how I love being able to have expert advice on how to read my patterns, fix my mistakes, and finish my projects. I love Three Bags Full, and the passionate, talented people who work there with my whole heart, and I invite you to visit. Support a local, woman-owned business. I sent a text as requested from their website to make an appointment for a tour and while it took a few days to respond back to me, we were able to book on a convenient day for us. In addition to the alpacas, there are rabbits, pot bellied pigs, horses, ducks, cows, and goats just to name a few of the farm folk that live here. The two young assistants that gave us the tour were very experienced and mature beyond their years. They had a lot of knowledge about each animal. If you wish to browse at the gift store, there's a lot of alpaca wool clothing, accessories, and stuffies for sale. They also sell their wares at local farmer's markets so check them out if you are interested in alpaca wool items. The cost of admission is very reasonable at $10 per person.
