We had Scott Donovan from Fibrenew come to our office to clean/repair some leather office chairs that had scuffs from hitting the bottom of the conference room table, blue pen stains and big dark marks where dye from people's clothes had transferred onto the pale beige leather. It took Scott most of the day to clean/repair the 9 chairs, but we are thrilled with the results. The chairs look almost as good as new. I'm happy, my boss is happy, and we'll be calling Scott the next time we have chairs that need attention. In addition, Scott was nice and easy to work with. He had everything he needed and was ready to get started right away. One note - the machinery he uses to fix the chairs is a little noisy so I would recommend doing this on a day when you don't have a lot of people in the office, or in a conference room or something. Had Scott out the other day to repair a leather cushion that had some of its finish removed. It was a fairly expensive piece of a much larger sectional and the scar that was left was really noticeable. I was beside myself for awhile not having any knowledge that something like that could even be repaired. I had tried some dyes that I got from Amazon, but the dye just made the scar even more noticeable to me. So Scott dropped by after I sent him the photos in the original quote request and went to work. He brought everything he needed and was very professional and meticulous. I couldn't be happier. It came out great. I can tell something was done, but the average guest in my home probably wouldn't be able to. At the end of the session I asked him for a referral for some stitching that had pulled out on an ottoman. Again, it was unsightly and I was concerned that the stitching could get pulled or ripped out further, ruining the cushion. He said that he had his sewing supplies with him in his car and that he could take care of it! Awesome! I had searched and searched on line for someone to address these repairs, and I check things like Yelp reviews to see how others' experiences were. Never had I come across Fibrenew, let alone someone who could restitch/repair leather furniture like this! Thank you Scott!! Your great reviews are well earned!! Highly recommended!! We had some mystery streaks pop up on our expensive beige leather couch, and we made it much worse by trying to get them out ourselves. Not only were the streaks still there after countless cleaning products, but we managed to rub of part of the leather on the cushion. I emailed Fibrenew on Thursday and Scott was able to come out the following Tuesday. I am so glad we hired him because the couch looks brand new. Although i sent detailed photos, Scott said he could not give me an estimate without coming to my home, which is the opposite of what is advertised. I had to take half a day from work to meet him. After all that, he did not show up. Stay away unless you like to waste time. Followed up with them. They said I was wrong, so I sent them the email from Scott confrming the appointment. I have a brand new Ford, and was very upset when a dog seat cover that I bought online transferred black dye onto my new caramel-colored leather rear bench seats. Wow, all I can say is that Scott saved the day! After a vintage leather chair (that had been recently restored) was deeply scratched by fingernails, I was unsure if I would have to reupholster the entire chair (very expensive) to get it back into good condition again. I called Fibrenew out of desperation. I initially sent in some photos through the website, and they responded within a day with a quote. Pretty much the next day, Scott popped in just to look at the damage to see how long it might take him to fix. (he squeezed me in between clients) He then came back later that week and spent 3-4 hours getting that chair back to perfection! I have been meaning to write this review for some time. Last year I was having Fibrenew repair a leather item that was under warranty. The technician was on time I was satisfied with the work that was preformed. During the same service call I asked about having repair work done on my vinyl car seat. I had the seat repaired but a short time after I noticed that the product was peeling off. When I contacted Fibrenew I was informed that there was "no guarantee" for the work I had completed. I took my car to a company in the area that repaired car seats and was informed that the material used to repair the seat earlier would have to be completely removed as it was inferior. I had the seat repaired and I am very pleased with the work. Bottom line - Fibrenew was fine for the leather repair but stay away with them on vinyl car seats. read more

We recently had Mario Santos to repair our 10-year old leather couch. The couch is of a mix colors of ivory greenish and light grey. It took Mario quite some time to find the right match. When it was done, we were happy with the "face lift". However, one area started to peel off after a day or two. We called Mario again, he said it must be the grease.
