I was told we were number 22 on their list, they were currently working on number 6, and that they expected to be at our property within two days. On the second day, I received a call saying they were running behind and would be out within the next couple of days. That was the last I ever heard from them. No call. No text. No follow-up. Nothing. Obviously, when you have a tree sitting on your house, you can't wait around indefinitely wondering whether a company is actually going to show up, so I had no choice but to find someone else to handle the cleanup. I completely understand being overwhelmed after a major storm. What I don't understand is telling a homeowner they are on your schedule, giving them a timeframe, and then simply disappearing. At the very least, a quick phone call asking whether we still needed service would have taken a couple of minutes. When someone is dealing with damage to their home, communication matters. Unfortunately, based on my experience, Ellis Tree Service completely dropped the ball on that.

Bryant Lake and Lawn Services put a pier in for me last August 17th. I had them install 7 Lakelite…read morepier lights. All seven failed with a few days. I spent the next 6 months calling them once sometimes twice a month asking them to repair/replace the pier lights. Each time I called I got the same answer; "We'll take care of you. We have to order parts for another guy." I put that in quotes because that's exactly the response when I called. I found out from the company that manufacturers the lights Bryant Lake and Lawn used lights that were over a year old in the original install. I became frustrated because they ignored me for 6 months without the problem being resolved. I contacted my lawyer and ask a lawsuit be started. My lawyer sent letters to them in early February stating a lawsuit would be started on the 1st of March if the problem was not resolved. Bryant Lake and Lawn came out on February 25th and replaced the lights. I will never use them again. I would suggest you be cautious if you engage them for a project. Your mileage may vary.
