Just days after moving in, one of them clogged in our kids' bathroom. We searched Yelp and reached out to a few plumbers--Mike's Plumbing was by far the most responsive and was able to come out right away. Mike was professional, friendly, and got the toilet unclogged quickly. He also explained why the issue was likely to happen again due to the poor quality of the fixture. A few months later, we came home to find our hot water heater leaking--a stressful situation right before a busy weekend. We called Mike around 9pm on a Thursday, and by 10am Friday morning he was at our door with a new water heater in hand. Since he was already here, we also asked if he could replace the toilets. Without hesitation, he ran out to pick up three high-quality units, came back, and installed them--along with the new water heater and prep for a leak detection system--all before 2pm. Considering the quality of "service" and the sheer rudeness I experienced, I am certain they are ripping people off. They claimed they tested everything before leaving, but just 20 minutes later, water started leaking from the supply line. The next day, they returned to "fix" the leak with some blue glue. I wanted to wait a few hours to ensure the leak was truly resolved this time, but the owner, "Mikey," spoke to me incredibly disrespectfully, saying, "if I am done with my crap he needs the money." Literally this is what was said to me. This experience clearly highlights how money-oriented and completely lacking in customer service these people are. The way they talk to and treat customers is absolutely unacceptable. They have lost my business permanently. My rating with this experience is 1 star. I started Googling and called the usual suspects Mr. Rooter and Roto-Rooter.. Both companies were closed and forwarded our calls to their AI agents (which were useless). Not long after, Mark arrived onsite to help snake our line. They got the line cleared and told us that we'd likely continue having issues (spoiler alert, we did). The pipe from our house to the street was badly deteriorated and needed to be replaced. Pretty sure it was the original from when the house was built 60 or 70 years ago. With scheduling, it took some time to get a new pipe in via pipe burst (trench-less installation. Saved our front yard!).
