Cool retro diner that only takes cash or checks. The friendly staff knows all the locals. It becomes quite busy around noon. Their breakfast food is typical diner food. Decent bagels. I would skip the home fries and get their French fries instead. They only have cheesecake for dessert, and they close at 3pm.

We stayed at Coudersport for Juneteenth weekend and went for brunch after following Yelp's reviews. I must say that the reviews didn't disappoint and we had a great time. I like diners for the way they look, but the interior of Fezz's diner is even beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The walls are decked with cult favorites, photos of musicians, etc. It was a Sunday and the place was busier compared to the number of waitresses. We were lucky to get a place for four. Our waitress wasn't that chatty, else I wanted to know more about the place. The menus are printed on paper and not laminated. We ordered the meat lover's sandwich, Fezz's big breakfast, pancake sandwich, and steak and eggs. The prices were reasonable. The food took a little longer to prepare but they were fresh and tasty. We wanted the steak to be medium rare but it was more on the medium side. I feel that there is a usual crowd that visits the diner regularly. This place is cash only and the nearest ATM is not really nearby. You don't really get to know it unless you find a table to sit at because the servers don't tell you so.

The hours are limited, but I'm glad we got to stop in. I had a breakfast sandwich on an English muffin and it was delicious. Service was excellent. The place is a time warp. It was the old 1954 Silk City Diner from Bethlehem PA. Stop by if you're in the area.

Absolutely loved the decor at this diner, from the funky exterior to all the groovy decorations inside, we felt like we had entered a time machine from decades ago. You really can't go wrong with classic diner food and they had all the traditional dishes you would expect. The prices were extremely affordable and the servings were hearty. I had the biscuits and gravy which were good. I was not a big fan of the home fries which had a slightly cheesy aftertaste. In terms of COVID precautions, this restaurant did a good job, the employees all wore masks and certain booths and barstools were taped off to make sure people could eat physically distanced. Also make a note that this diner only accepts cash or check, but there is an ATM next door. Overall, it was a cute place to get breakfast and we really enjoyed the funky vibe.

    Bar seating

First and foremost, they DO NOT take cards, cash or check only. There are signs on the door that state that they are short staffed. We saw 4 people, but there were probably a couple more in the kitchen. The feel was nice, we ate in the old side, where it was just the diner originally, but could see in the back for the other seating and it was a nice time. We waited maybe 15 minutes from ordering to getting our food(there weren't very many people here when we came in). Food was good, the biscuit and gravy meal was a lot, but the gravy didn't have a ton of taste, it was still good though and the corned beef hash was also good. All in all, it wasn't amazing food, but was good, but also, it was still worth it for the amount of food.

We stopped at this spot for breakfast and absolutely enjoyed our meal. The servers were very kind and welcoming and the food was top notch. They only accept cash however there is an atm near by.

From the side, this is not the diners most flattering angle...

This place is absolutely terrific, the menu is vast and the food is very high-quality. My favorite thing to get there is breakfast but I'm sure every meal is fantastic. Truthfully whenever I go to work for "diner" I expect the food to be very substandard but that is not the case here at all. You can tell that they really care about the ingredients they use. I'm not saying it's super gourmet but it's definitely not the cheapest stuff they can find, (if it is then they are terrific bargain hunters). Anyway, we all know what a diner is so there's really not much more I can say other than you should go it's really nice. By the way get the home fries they are really good, I like them well done/ crispy, you will as well.

    Fezz Diner after hours

Was in the northern tier and stopped her for breakfast on a dreary rainy sunday AM. What a nice surprise this turned out to be. The food was GREAT, the ambiance was nice as well. Will most certainly be stopping here again in future trips to the area.

Fantastic bacon and bleu cheese burger on a brioche bun with a side of garlic fries

Note: "Cash Only!" I had a great meal here on a Saturday night when I was up to visit Cherry Springs State Park. It wasn't too crowded and the food came right away. We ordered 2 burgers and a side of garlic fries and everything was delicious! Lots of 50's kitsch hanging on the walls, so that was fun to look at while you waited for your food. Glad we dropped in!

Best place for breakfast in the area, especially after a long night under the stars at Cherry Springs State Park.

A different waitress came with the menu and took our drink orders; reasonably friendly. A group of farmer looking folks walked in (classic overalls, fishing caps etc) and looked at us like we just stole their spot or something- guy even pointed at us when talking to the person behind the counter then the waitress returns to take our orders and I asked her why they were looking at us that way and she said she really didn't know but they stopped after we ordered *shrug* My son said his burger was exceptionally delicious and my Philly Steak sandwich was very good, French fries were exceptional for a diner. Clean and reasonably comfortable; they only had a single bathroom so I guess you can call it gender neutral. Place is retro; modern by mid-twentyish century standards. Service was very good overall, She served out food promptly / hot and out glasses were never empty I didn't have enough cash but they accepted a (good) check. (No credit/debit card service or ATM)

Their menu has what you'd expect from a classic diner, prices are cheap, and service is quick! We got the Country Style Eggs and Patty Melt. Both lacked basic seasonings like salt & pepper. If I was rating off the food alone, I'd give it a 3/5. The home fries in the Country Style Eggs could've been crispier and adding hot sauce definitely saved this a bit. The biscuit we got with it was homemade and so delicious. It was warm, buttery, and satisfying. The Patty Melt was a bit dry and desperately needed a sauce. I used ketchup and asked for pickles which helped. The rye bread was surprisingly not dry and grilled nicely with butter. It was definitely a heavy meal but we needed it after a long drive. It's not the kind of place where you'll have an amazing meal but it'll do the job at a super affordable price.
