When I die, I hope this is what heaven is like. That was my thought the first time we walked in. My dog absolutely loves this place and has the best time ever. I see dogs that have been shy at other parks learn to play and come out of their shells here. I think it's because there are so many more people and they can sense that the truly aggessive dogs are not allowed. Fetch is a life saver when the days start to get short. Since everything is lit I don't have to worry about rushing home to get to the park before it gets dark. Restrooms are always clean and climate controlled. My baby can play in the water and not get filthly because there's no mud. There are fans in the summer and outdoor heaters in the winter. Honestly, the bar is just the cherry on top. The only food available is Beyond Berry which has Acai bowls and Brazilian cheese balls. The cheese balls are awesome, but I do wish there was more savory food available. On the other hand, it is a dog park, not a restaurant. In all honesty, this place is the best dog park around. It's an idea whose time has come.

Fetch Park has become our new home away from home. Mind you we do live only .5 miles away... but even if we didn't, I would still be giving this place a 5 star review. If you have not been to a fetch park yet, I do advise you look up the requirements that are asked from the friendly staff. There is not a way around getting your dog in WITHOUT having their proper vaccines UP TO DATE! I have seen some people get upset about this but if you do not understand/ see the good behind that requirement... then this is prob not the place for you. My husband and I joke that this is our dogs country club. She has such excitement when she is here, as do we! While she is running through the clean turf, or splashing in water tubs, my husband and I grab coffee or cocktails at the bar inside the park. Both our dog and my husband have made friends here and everyone here is pro dogs! The staff is also what makes this place fabulous. Whether you are greeted by Sydney in the front when you check in, to grabbing a perfect coffee made by Shelby, and lastly knowing your dog is in good hands by one of their top dog rangers Sadie ! We bought our dog the year membership due to how much we come. Again if you love dogs, and your dog loves dogs... fetch is where you need to be !

This place is Amazing. Cheddar has the best time! The people who work here love the dogs and are always on the watch to make sure the pups are having fun and being safe. We've been coming almost daily since we found it in the beginning of July. No other dog park compares!

Wonderful place to allow your dog to run off energy and you take a break with a drink.

Does this place play the NFL games at the bar?

Yes! They have a jumbo screen and several smaller ones. They always have the game on, and if you don’t see the one you want you can ask and they will gladly put it on for you.

Whenever a dog might have acted out the owner immediately stepped in, which was good to see. The area itself looked to be well maintained and had a wiring fountain for the dogs. There were also a few benches for seating.

You pull up to the building and from the parking lot, you have no idea where it actually is. You just have to get out and start exploring and hope that GPS has actually landed you in the right place. You are indeed there. Walk around the community building and follow the path off to the right. There are three enclosures: big, little, and ?? I didn't walk that far because I always stop for my pup to play with the bigs. There is fresh water at the entrance, and when it's hot, there are plastic pools you can fill and mud for your dog to play in. There is some shade, but it's not every where, and the grass (as you'd probably expect) is non-existent, but it's a fun time, especially when people actually get off their phones (AND THE BENCHES) and play with their dogs.

Our hike was both fun and refreshing, and it gave us a glimpse of just how much this park has to offer. One of the highlights was discovering the variety of trails--each one winding through different landscapes and offering unique perspectives of the river and surrounding forest. That said, we've only scratched the surface. With so many trails still left to explore, it feels like we've only had a taste of the adventure waiting here. We also had the chance to tour the lodge, which was a fascinating stop. It shared the history of the site in an engaging way and offered interactive exhibits that were perfect for kids. It added an extra layer of fun and learning to our visit, making the experience even more memorable. Overall, it's a fantastic spot for hiking, family outings, and reconnecting with nature. We're already looking forward to coming back and experiencing more of the trails and activities we didn't get to this time.

Dog friendly and great for hiking alone or in a group, I highly recommend visiting the park in the evening. Trail #1 goes under Highway 400, so does get a bit noisy. Trail #2 goes through the Hewlett Lodge Visitor Center and is a good spot to picnic and take breaks. Each trail is about 3 miles to & fro and take roughly an hour or so each to complete them. There are no restrooms in the Island Ford Unit entrance so plan accordingly if you enter from that entrance. Parking is $5/day or free with the Annual pass or America the beautiful pass. Amenities: Wheelchair accessible entrance and parking, pet waste stations & picnic tables
