This practice has some of the best doctors and nurses. I was very nervous about going through ivf and everyone was helpful. Julie in Providence helped me get over my fear of blood work. She is always so kind and can answer so many of my questions. The communication was next level. If I called with a question within an hour or so a nurse or a doctor was calling me back with an answer. I'm sad to graduate to GYNO. I have never felt compelled to write a review for a doctor or a medical clinic before, but my time at Fertility Solutions was so terrible that I felt the need to share my experience. For any woman, having trouble conceiving is a agonizing, scary and confusing time. Like many women in this situation, I had no idea what to expect while going through the IVF process and was hoping for personal support, helpful guidance, and compassionate care throughout the process, which is absolutely NOT what I found at Fertility Solutions. I felt rushed through the whole plan and was only given information on what to do next at the very last minute. I was even told "most women are too scared to know what the next step is, so we like to just do everything as it comes" after I complained for the 3rd time that I had NO IDEA what was going on and would like to know what the plan was. I was told on 2 separate occasions that I needed a prescription at such a last minute, that I was told that if it was too late for the pharmacy to fill the Rx, I would just have to be off schedule with the medication. I had to look up so much information on my own that I now feel like I could teach a class on the IVF process. Communication was very poor. I had trouble speaking to someone on the phone every single time I called. The patient portal only lets you contact doctors or nurses on call, so you can't always send a message to your own personal doctor or even someone that you know there. Fertility Solutions took the already difficult process of IVF and made it even more emotionally, mentally and physically daunting. read more

I can't recommend Fertility Solutions enough! I found out about them and my doctor (Dr. Ania Kowalik) though the website https://www.fertilityiq.com/ (like Yelp for fertility clinics) and chose the clinic and my doctor because they were local and had received the highest rating. I couldn't agree more. Dr. Huang was scheduled to perform my egg-retrieval and embryo transfer and she was amazing too, extremely kind, patient and hopeful. My husband and I were diagnosed with unexplained infertility, and had been trying naturally for 3.5 years. After 1 failed IUI treatment and 1 successful round of IVF, we are now expecting a baby girl in May 2017. I am still in shock! With their many locations and very efficient practice, they made it as easy as possible to pursue fertility treatments without sacrificing humanity. For every single interaction I had, from calling to reset my password for the online portal to getting blood drawn to the egg retrieval and transfer I was treated with great empathy, care and kindness. I was terrified to purse fertility treatments, and while I know I was very lucky because it worked quickly, it wasn't half as bad as I had made it out to be. I was proud to support a practice that is striving to provide affordable fertility solutions for all types of families. By far the best fertility clinic. Extremely professional, clean, on time. It's a women run clinic which is amazing. Each time you have bloodwork and ultrasound it's the actual doctors doing it not tech assistants. I can't recommend them enough. read more

The only positive interaction we actually had was with the Dr. We had Dr. Huang and she was great! She made us comfortable and was straight down to business and didn't waste our time. Other than her and actually having a successful pregnancy, we've had an awful time. Their billing department is a complete mess. Our daughter is now 3 years old and we are still dealing with their billing department. I gave them payment info a month ago and they never ran it. Who does that? Then when I wanted to move out stored items, the embriologist accused me of lying and was so rude to me! I've never been so angry at someone I didn't know before. The reason I am giving 2 stars is because Dr. Huang really was great. And it was a nice facility. read more

I had a great experience here! All the staff and doctors were very knowledgable and took the time to read your chart BEFORE they met with you, so that even if they were new to you, you were not new to them. I did IVF for several years at another well-known IVF clinic and found them to be absolutely the worse, especially when/if you need a little senstitive handling and/or you main problem is male factor infertility. At least twice I sat in the waiting room crying because the receptionst was late..and one time they were talking about me and wanting to know if I was late and talkd about moving me to the end of the line, when I had been sitting right there in the office all along! After years of no success at the other clinc, to come to this place and have my concerns not only heard, but also take seriously and addressed, I have to say, after my very first cycle here, I am pregnant. Its very early and I'm still nervous - especially after so many bad experiences (aka miscarriages) through the other place. I feel good that even if I do have another miscarriage I can walk away and prepare for another cycle knowing that me, my doctors, the nurses, the staff..EVERYONE,did everything they possibly could to get my pregnant. And to be quite honest, I didn't feel that way at all about BIVF. read more

Dr. Ania Kowalik was the worst fertility doctor that I had ever been to. My first appointment I left there in tears. She informed me that I would never get pregnant because I was over weight. It was explained to her that I had a weight loss surgery that failed because my body rejected it and a reversal weight loss surgery had to be done to remove the band. She did not care and spent 45 minutes stressing my weight problem. I left there and went to Woman And Infants fertility center. They welcomed me with open arms and only mentioned once about my weight problem and than moved on to how they were going to help me get pregnant. I am now two months pregnant with their help. I would never recommend anyone see Dr. Ania Kowalik. She needs to work on her bed side manner and realize that her patient's are people instead of instantly judging them without knowing them. read more

I went to Fertility Solutions for about a year before deciding to stop using their care. They failed to properly inform me of most things. They will watch you fail and fail without telling you "it is time to try another option" until you literally call and message saying it's not working, what else can i do? What should I do? They will say "we can't tell you what to do, it's up to you to decide". Ok, but you are the specialist, I am there for YOU to tell me what is my best option, what is my best chance.  The give you such hope in thinking success and then act like you are stupid (for lack of better phrasing) for asking questions and not understanding what changes you should make or things you should do different. I actually once even told a doctor "How do we know these things if you don't tell us?" We go there for them to guide us, not to watch us fail over and over and have to dig up all this info on our own because they are not giving us any. They ignored my multiple request of saying I wasn't comfortable in self monitoring and would tell me I was "probably doing it right" and to keep trying until multiple failed cycles. When I did proceed finally with monitored cycles and during an IUI the doctor actually used these very words "I THINK it's in" because the kept flubbing and struggling to properly inset the tube. The last thing any patient ever wants to hear is "I THINK it's in". The billing was a headache. I would have to call and message multiple times to get them to take payment. I should not have to chase them to take my payment on time seeing as if you're not paid on time, you don't get treatment. My only positive is I loved the nurses. They were always kind and understanding and while drawing blood or just talking to you, you could tell they wanted you to succeed and were as kind hearted as anyone I have ever known. read more

I don't really give reviews but I had to do this for future clients notice who cares to know. I engaged with this service because there where affordable compared to other private clinic but unknowingly to me it was the biggest mistake I made. I booked an appointment online and was told to pay before I could come in on the 6th Nov, I arrived for the appointment but with the stress of even locating the place in the hospital I now had to produce the sample in the next 30mins . The Sample could not be produced and I was told to bring it from home . Which I was annoyed if that was the case y did you not offer that in the first place like every other practice: in that period I had to relocate homes from London and I asked for a refund as no sample had been produced or consultation received in less that 14 days which covers your consumer right but they refused. The customer service was very poor which felt like there where all about the money and not the test or your well being. I informed them I had relocated to Nottingham and can't make the journey back for a second appointment to London to drop of the sample which was not possible because the sample has a life span of 1hr and they should refund me with was left of my money after there administration charge as been taking out yet again I was refused saying I signed a no refund policy. For a health care service that's unfair From my experience with them the Costumer service was very poor as well and there were all about the money don't care about you or your well-being . In summary avoid if you can and don't want stress. I booked with another service for an appointment for semen analysis which said I should come pick the contain up and I only pay when the sample is produced. That's a clinic that cares. read more

Good luck trying to get an appointment at this place. You would think they would be extremely responsive as these services are extremely expensive, and there are many fertility specialists in the area. My OB highly recommended Dr. Huang, so I was eager to get in to see her. I leave a voicemail to set up an appointment, no call back. Send an email through their website, no response. Call again, hey transfer me and put me on hold for 7 minutes, then hang up on me. I call back (this is at about 11am on a Wednesday), and they have turned on their 'outside of office hours' answering service. Insurance billing was not done correctly. Accounting department would not call back for weeks. Too much stress dealing with infertility as it is. Did not need to add stress of billing issues that was due to their mistakes. Went to another fertility center. Fertility Solutions did cleared up billing issue two years later. I had the experience of going to Boston IVF Quincy/Waltham and then Fertility Solutions in Dedham and they almost can't be compared. Fertility Solutions in Dedham gets a gold star PLUS from me in every aspect. In comparing the two experiences, I am AMAZED at how much better this experience has been with Dr. Carol Anania and the entire staff in Dedham. Only women work there and the Dr. is 100x more involved - including doing the ultrasounds herself. Actually she did every procedure herself except draw blood. Which is another area where this place excels - one of the nurses there is literally the "vein whisperer" and is the best ever. My veins are hard to access, and in my previous experience, others have had to take it out of my hand and not here. She is terrific! At Boston IVF, I met with my doctor on intake with my husband to discuss our initial options - we started the IVF process and never saw him again - literally met him once for 30 minutes - not through egg retrieval, any ultrasounds, consultations in between, or at the embryo transfer - literally nothing. When the cycle didn't work out, we spoke by phone. that is it. This experience at Dedham Fertility really gives you the impression that they care about you and the outcome and it's a comfortable, smaller environment. I recommend this place highly!
