if you need a survey for your property, big or small, Ron Ferris is an honest surveyor. We already had an idea where our property lines were. The situation that happened was we had trouble with our next door neighbor who removed our previous survey marker to have her driveway installed along with a new garage, plumbing work and electrical work. These neighbors did all of their work without permits from the city and got away with the crime. The man who moved in with the woman, wanted to doc his big boat at their residency without checking with local county laws. in smaller neighborhoods like ours, anything industrial sizes or large boats are prohibited. And it's common sense that there is not enough room. But these neighbors thought we were stupid and tried to take advantage of our kindness when we were willing to give a little extra room. Turned out we made a big mistake thinking our neighbors were decent people. They disrespected us and tore up our grass and tried to say they owned more space on our side. I've even caught them stealing satellite cable from us. They installed a shadowbox fence on our side that we never agreed to and we were told it was only their fence. The fence closed in crookedly at the corner of our home which is a hazard to our safety because we plan to build a new back porch that would be bigger than our current one. Underneath the porch is our second emergency water spigot that is suppose to be accessible in case of outdoor fires which is disturbingly possible in our neighborhood due to sever storms that have caught on fire, electrical wires on the phone poles, before. Those water spigots are not just for gardening and cleaning. We could not do any improvements to our home because their fence took up all the space. We tolerated them for 4 years of constant barking dogs that we believe they brought there on purpose to punish us for not moving over enough for their boat that they ended up getting rid of. We tolerated their bright light trespassing deliberately pointed our direction just to annoy us. We had difficulty finding the right surveyor out of our area whom we could trust that was not a friend of theirs and try to illegally favor part of our plot over to them. These neighbors are suspects of fraud and they hate the law. Well we have laws to keep civil matters fair.
It wasn't until around mid October of 2024 when my husband was cutting our grass and trimming down vines growing through our side of my neighbors encroached fence, when I finally had enough of the bullying after my neighbor got really bold and hit the side of our house with her garbage bin, making a very loud bang sound and my whole house shook. She was mad that my husband cut down her vines that were growing on our property. That's when I said enough is enough. I don't have to take this abuse. I called Ron and he put them back in their place where they belong. He put the survey markers in the exact places they were and they even match up to our mortgage survey from 2004. Now we are able to begin our home improvements to order professionally licensed contractors to install a high quality, PRIVATE vinyl fence we have been wanting and to make our plans of what kind of deck or screened in back porch we will decide on WITH city permits!
