Friends gave me names of handymen who could do the job for cheap, and I also researched it online, identifying local hardscaping and concrete companies who might be good fits. Of the companies I researched, one stood out above the rest, and I could see through the many pictures of impressive past projects that they would do excellent work for us! We are so glad we decided to go with Buckeye Concrete! If you choose Buckeye Concrete, you will have hired the dream team for your concrete project. The entire crew are expert in each aspect of bringing your concrete project to life. This was truly the best team, with artists who were able to translate my hand-drawn sketch into a beautiful and impressive new front patio, steps, and walkways that flow through my front yard gardens! The team communicated consistently with us about our project and helped us to iron out the details of our design, which was not a simple or easy one. The crew worked efficiently to bring our dream patio to life, and now we are stunned with the beauty of this new outdoor space they have realized for us - we keep going outside to enjoy it because it's just that beautiful! We thank the entire team for their excellent work, and we recommend Buckeye Concrete to anyone who wants concrete outdoor spaces that will turn heads (this is no exaggeration, as passing cars have slowed as people look at this beautiful new patio and steps)! We highly recommend this company!

What was supposed to be a 1 week project turned into 3 weeks by the time it was finished. The finished product is pretty decent quality, although the double gate isn't quite right. The only reason they got 3 stars is because my wife wanted that high, but I personally lean towards 2 stars. I would never recommend this company strictly because of being strung along through the process. As for value, I could have probably gotten the same price elsewhere, but erroneously just went with these guys based on previous experience. But, like I said, it's not remotely the same company. I found out after they started that the business was sold by the previous owner and the new owner is running it into the ground for profit.

We are now the envy of our neighbors, many of whom have gone out of their way to tell us how nice the driveway and walk now look. Joe was great about assessing what had happened to our concrete and came up with a solid plan for remediation and improvement. One of the issues we had was a poorly cut curb when the city put in the curbs years ago--it never aligned well with our apron, creating an awkward and bumpy approach into our driveway. Joe knew just what to do, fixing it so we now could enter the driveway smoothly. Our new front walk no longer is a hazard and Joe put a graceful, gradual rise from the drive to the front door that eliminated the need for a step. The patio is no longer sunken and is now where it should be in height from the back door. I couldn't say enough about the work and integrity of Joe Miceli. He stuck to the contract and did some beautiful work at what we feel was an incredibly fair price.
