Their maintenance is even terrible they do half-assed work, also their maintenance either takes too long to come, or they don't come at all. My last complaint is with the utility company they merged with for the water bill, called conservice, they didn't notify anyone of this might i add. I just started randomly having bills from months ago (that i already paid) added to my rent. What conservice does is combine 3 months worth of water bills and add them to your rent last minute so then you're fucked paying the rent and then an additional $250-$300 from a water bills. Save yourself time, and do not even think about applying for anything they have. Spread the word to others to avoid them at all costs.

Before I found Darwin I was working with two different property management companies and it was quite difficult keeping track of what I had told each company. We have had the pleasure of living in East End for 2 months…read more We loved it. Jacqueline, the property manager, is great. Always friendly and prepared to help. For example, when we were having problems with our WiFi, she offered office space on the 2nd floor, with WiFi, so I could take my work calls. The apartment we rented was not, originally, furnished but we needed furnished, so Jacqui organized a designer and furnished it for us, with very pleasant furnishings. The apartment we have rented is great. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fairly spacious, well maintained, good kitchen, HVAC and decent internet/Wifi. The facilities are great - good parking, restaurant, bar, gym, easy access to the Goodyear Theatre and in a good location, with Starbucks next door and easy access to downtown Akron nearby. It is worth mentioning the building is an excellent example of solid, brick-based construction. We have really enjoyed our stay here and will miss it.

My experience dealing with this company has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Communication has been practically non-existent, and getting someone to take accountability for an issue has been unnecessarily difficult. I left over dozen voicemails trying to speak with the appropriate person, only to be repeatedly redirected without receiving a response from the individual actually responsible. When customers have to repeatedly chase management just to get a basic communication, something is seriously wrong with how that company operates. What should be a simple, professional conversation has turned into an exhausting experience. I believe tenants deserve better communication, accountability, and respect from the people managing their homes.
