A week goes by, no hearing back. I called on July 22 and the lady said "oh yeah, Ron stopped by your properties and he thinks it is a waste of money to do the coat of sealant". What? do I deserve to know???? what about the other property? Had I not called again after 2 weeks, would they have called? It was very unprofessional without the courtesy to call me and give me insight about what is needed, or to say we cant do this service or anything. I asked if he could call me so I learn what is needed. some days pass by and no call till finally I received a call from Ron who made things too much worse by saying on the phone "I called you but you did not pick up", which was very unprofessional and childish since people leave voice messages. I am not a guy who has full mailbox or a vm that is not setup yet; and it was very low because he lied as he never called me....well, unless he called from a spam number. The quality of this company's work seems to be good from what I see in town, so my review here is about professionalism in communication (or lack thereof) and the honesty of words.

What was supposed to be a 1 week project turned into 3 weeks by the time it was finished. The finished product is pretty decent quality, although the double gate isn't quite right. The only reason they got 3 stars is because my wife wanted that high, but I personally lean towards 2 stars. I would never recommend this company strictly because of being strung along through the process. As for value, I could have probably gotten the same price elsewhere, but erroneously just went with these guys based on previous experience. But, like I said, it's not remotely the same company. I found out after they started that the business was sold by the previous owner and the new owner is running it into the ground for profit.

They had exactly what I needed, so I called to place an order. I received their voicemail box, and left a message. Within 15 minutes, they called me back to fill my order. They stated they were a bit backed up at the moment, so we settled on a day and time. They went over my order with me, and even explained that what they were delivering, fill dirt, was not suitable for growing grass or plants, that it had lots of sand and rock in it, which is what I needed for drainage. They went on to tell me that their fill dirt was not covered, and that it was projected to rain before delivery, and asked if I'd like to move out delivery so I didn't have to work with a wet product, something I've not had other companies offer in the past. I explained my timeframe, and we agreed on the date and time. So the day comes for delivery, and it was supposed to be delivered at 9:00 am. At 8:45, I received a phone call explaining that their driver had been delayed, and they would get it here as soon as they could, unless I needed to reschedule. I said that was fine, and by 9:30, they delivered. I can't tell you how many times I've waited on a delivery, and the person or service are hours behind the scheduled time, with no phone call or explanation. I was thoroughly impressed with their professionalism, customer service, and the product I received too. I would highly recommend them for any Akron area landscape needs you may have.
