But as a loyal Yelper, I always feel compelled to write something about a business that I patronize. As far as gas stations go, they fit the bill as being a good, solid filling station. There is the expected convenience store within, car wash, restrooms and lottery tickets. They even go one step further by displaying a kiosk featuring Red Box DVD rentals near the entrance! You can't go wrong with a well rounded filling station that is available when you need not only gas, but food and drinks to take along on your trip! Prices are good too!

The lines are a bit long if you don't get here super early or late like 30 minutes before closing. The gas stations all close 1 hr after the store closes and open at 6am. I like that they have those green or red indicators on the gas islands that tell you what pumps are occupied. I like that the hoses are long enough that it doesn't matter what side of the car your fuel filler side is on, the hose will stretch across to the opposite side. I just wish there were stuff to clean your windshield, but I guess they don't put that stuff out so people don't take longer to fill up and hold up the line. The best thing besides the price, is if you have one of the Costco Citi credit cards, (they're free), when you buy gas at Costco, you get 5% back rebate, that's like if gas is $5.00 a gal, you get 25 cents off per gallon! This time I decided to also include a car wash, since my vehicle was covered in dust from a long dry summer. I received my secret PIN number printed on my gas receipt, and headed to the car wash drive through. I have used this service before, and wasn't expecting any additional frills, but the standard wash and dry. But to my pleasant surprise, this Chevron had an employee on standby ready to help me if I had questions or needed further instructions on how to use the wash station. I was able to figure out how to use the kiosk with little help, but it was nice to have someone there just in case. I hadn't used the car wash kiosk in quite sometime and it did have a lot of upgrades on it that I was worried I would press a wrong button or something! LOL! Anyway, the best part of this experience was that the young woman was very nice and helpful. She guided me into the stall correctly and then after the washing process, she guided me out, followed by some additional hand drying and making sure anything still stuck on my car was gently removed by hand. She even offered to vacuum the interior, but it wasn't necessary for me at the time. I was very satisfied with my experience. I was a little nervous about using this car wash when I realized at the last minute, that it doesn't have a brushless washing system. But my brand new vehicle emerged unscathed from any noticeable scratches. I feel comfortable enough to use their services again.
