I kept being told this was a "small job" and there would not be any issues. They set only a few of my chain link fence posts in concrete. Most of the posts were left loose. All the post caps were loose and some were missing. Fence was not installed in straight lines. I got the feeling that my fence project was a learning tool for a crew of inexperienced installers to learn on. James had come back to my house to tell me that everything was going to be made right. Since that meeting it has been like pulling teeth to get them to come back to my house to complete the project. I had made the mistake of paying the whole price before the job was done. Personally, Miron is trustworthy, hardworking and does not waste your time and gets right to the job. Miron helped us remodel many things in our house and he worked painstakingly to make sure it is done to perfection. He is intelligent, honest and does not cut corners. I had a very disappointing experience with North Shore Exterior Experts while trying to obtain an…read moreestimate for a siding project. I scheduled an appointment with their sales representative, Brian Kelly, and set aside time to meet with him at my home. One of the first things he wanted to discuss was replacing my roof, even though I had contacted the company specifically about siding. When I explained that I wanted to focus on the siding project, his demeanor noticeably changed. He became very quiet, and the remainder of the appointment felt uncomfortable. Brian told me I would receive the siding estimate by Friday. Friday came and I received nothing. I followed up by text and received no response. After spending additional time following up with the company, I was finally told they would not be providing an estimate at all because they cannot fit the project into their schedule this year. During that conversation, I was also told that I apparently wanted the siding done "yesterday." I found that comment unnecessarily rude and dismissive. I never asked for the project to be completed immediately. I simply expected the estimate I was told I would receive. I completely understand a contractor being booked for the season. What I don't understand is why the company accepted the appointment, sent a representative to my home, spent time discussing the project, promised an estimate by Friday, and then had me spend the following week trying to obtain it--only to ultimately tell me they had no intention of quoting the project because they couldn't schedule it this year. If the company did not have capacity for additional siding projects this year, that should have been communicated before scheduling the appointment. A simple conversation about availability would have saved everyone's time. Between the uncomfortable sales appointment, the attempt to shift the conversation toward a roof replacement, the lack of follow-through, the unanswered message, the dismissive comment when I followed up, and ultimately refusing to provide the promised estimate, the entire experience was unpleasant and unprofessional. Based on my experience, I would not recommend North Shore Exterior Experts.

We recently had our deck completely rebuilt by Boston Framers and we couldn't be happier with how…read moreit came out. We actually got their name directly from the deck manufacturer, who told us Boston Framers was excellent and highly recommended them. After working with them, I can see why. They started exactly when they said they would and showed up every day to keep the job moving. They even worked some weekends to get everything completed, which we really appreciated. Their carpenters were excellent. The workmanship was meticulous, the materials were all top quality, and you could tell they really cared about doing the job right. The price was very competitive, especially for the quality of work we received. I also made a few minor changes along the way, and they were very easy to work with and accommodated the changes without adding extra charges. It's not easy to find a contractor that is reliable, fairly priced, uses quality materials, and takes this much pride in their work. Boston Framers checked all those boxes for us. We're extremely happy with our new deck and would absolutely recommend Boston Framers to anyone considering a deck or other construction project. Five stars without hesitation.

Brutal experience with them back in 2022-2024. Would take weeks and, more than once, even months…read moreto get them to come back and do any work (see screenshots of my text interactions with them -- note the dates). They were supposed to build a new rubber roof. It started leaking on 3 separate occasions (which btw was never fully fixed -- we moved on to different contractors who did address the issues). And like I said, it would take months for them to actually come back and attempt to fix anything. Often they'd come by, look at the damage, then I wouldn't hear from them for multiple weeks. Meanwhile, more damage continues to accrue to the walls and ceilings. The internal fixes they applied for the water damage were just patch jobs. They just plastered and painted over. Meanwhile, the insulation behind the wall was soaked and accrued black mold that we had to address later. Also worth pointing out a major blunder at the beginning of the project (see attached videos and pics). They opened up the roof, and left it open for multiple days without doing any work. Well of course a major rainstorm came by (which was on the weather forecast well in advance). Alll that water poured into the house in the middle of the night setting off fire alarms. It was a nightmare to deal with on my end.
