I have only got services to upkeep my Balayage, so I am prepared to pay. I like that they greet you (a front-desk area with things to purchase), offer you a beverage (champagne or beer), hot coffee, tea, juice or water. They have great stylists, and a room in the back for hair washing, drying and just spa-like relaxation. Make your appointment on their website and get ready to be pampered!

At scheduling time, the receptionist was very nice and worked with me to find a time that fits schedules well. I was scheduled with Michaela for a Halo face framing type situation and was greeted very kindly by her and everyone else at the front desk. They offer you water and other beverages there as you arrive. There is also local crafted jewelry in the sitting area to browse. Getting back to hair, Michaela was very personable, funny, nice, and professional. The experience was nice and it feels like you're just chatting with an old friend. Honestly I probably chat too much but the story of my life LOL. They take you back to the hair washing area which is quiet and Serene, ready for relaxation. They also offer you and I mask type essential oil situation where you can pick different scents. After your hair is done washing you get processed and then you go back to your sitting area. It took a little bit to get my hair to the desired look but Michaela and the salon made it very easy to work with and get the results we were hoping for. I appreciate them for being so accommodating and ease of everything. Michaela is a great stylist and I would recommend booking with her anytime! Not only will she make your hair look better but just speaking with her makes your day better too.

The stylist took the time to listen to what I was looking for instead of rushing through the consultation. I got a short haircut and that cut requires precision and attention to detail. You can tell they really care about getting it right and making sure you leave happy. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quality haircut and attentive service.

First thing out of my mouth was please keep the length. I'm tired of the short military haircut. Well.... That didn't last long at all! He went straight to the #4 for the sides and started cutting. I was hoping he was just trimming the side and making me have ears again which is why I needed it trimmed. Then he started with the back and just cut off all the length. I DO NOT mind the different cultures in America as it is what makes America great. But please, if you are in business or do business with a multicultural group of people, learn the base language! If I go to Brazil, I would not expect them to learn my language. I am the guest in a foreign country and would and have learned different languages. I would NOT recommend this place if you want something more than a regular haircut.

Scissorhands is my family's favorite with my two younger brothers regularly getting haircuts here. Andy is not as friendly as Miss Kim in Morrisville, but we recently had a nice conversation about the Korean language since I just started studying it. The cut was masterful, for sure, and followed the example I showed in a photo saved in my phone. Shampoo was included at no additional cost and I did not have to wait in my latest visit around Friday noon. I used to pay around $30 to $35 for a regular men's cut but the latest service, Andy charged me $40 (not including tips). As for the atmosphere, it's more spacious than their old location (where they shared space with other salons) but it's not as spacious as Hair News. Nonetheless, it's in a good location by High House Road, close to Cici's Pizza, a small Walmart market, and just less than 5 minutes drive away from HMart.

Came in 10 mins before my appointment and got seated right away. The lady who cut my hair was so sweet and precise, and she asked me a bunch of questions about what I wanted. I let her have a lot of freedom, and it looked great in the end! It was a longer appointment than I expected, but she was very detailed. It ended up being $70 which is pretty expensive in my opinion for just a woman's haircut. If you don't mind paying a hefty price, you should come here.

I absolutely loved my initial experience with Twisted Scizzors!…read more They have a email option on their website, and someone either calls or emails you back within like 15 minutes! When I called to select a new stylist, they explained all about their salon, and the levels and pricing and worked to match me with a stylist. Jessica was fantastic, really listening to me, and giving me exactly what I asked for with my short haircut. It was the best shampoo of my life, with fragrance free shampoo, and the best, most thorough haircut, where she shaped and cleaned up a recent haircut. She chatted at all the right times, and focused on the cutting at all the right times. Truly The best customer service and the best experience with a stylist I've had!

I was going to this salon for a simple haircut, with the same stylist for over 11 years. When they…read morewere allowed to open after the Covid pandemic, they forced everyone to wear masks during their haircuts. I struggle with masks as I have asthma and I feel like I am suffocating while wearing one. I asked my stylist why we had to wear masks when just about every other business was wide open and mask-free. I was told "to make our customers FEEL safe." Personally, I found the mask wearing extremely uncomfortable. That being said, I typically would joke around my stylist but the mask wearing made me more of a quiet person. She asked me if all was ok, to which I replied yes...All is cool, but the mask made me feel like I was suffocating. After about the 6th haircut since reopening. I was told by the stylist (who is also general manager) not to worry about paying and took me outside to discuss how she felt uncomfortable that I was less talkative and what we're going to do about it. I sternly told her to just cancel all my future appointments (I was scheduled for every three weeks for years down the road). I was so pissed that now I needed to worry about her feelings, when she needed to simply cut my hair....That's it. So, this is how I was treated when she had cut my hair for so long. Believe me, she is obviously a liberal mind set and here she was telling me how to act to make her comfortable with me. The whole place is a liberal bastion...The owner is also very liberal. This business is a liberal shit hole. And on top of that, my stylist was not very good and very inconsistent....Often I would ask her to fix something that was wrong with my cut and it was very expensive for a men's haircut. I would not recommend this place, at all, to anyone. I now get my hair cut at a Great Clips down the road from my house for half the price and the lady that I always get is very good and very consistent. I can't believe I spent so much time and money getting my haircuts at Twisted Scissors.
