Probably the most consequential vehicle purchase since our adult Son Tyler was a child. Our relationship with Mini of Tampa Bay started well over 10 years ago. Ryan, Santos, & Jeff did it again. This is our fifth vehicle purchase from Ferman Mini. Did you know they can sell any car in Ferman Inventory? In fact this is the 2nd purchase of ours from them that was not a Mini Cooper. How, you ask? People trade in all manner of vehicles, from Porsche, McLaren, Alfa Romeo's to Honda Civics. Fords and Chevys. Some are nearly brand new like ours. A 2025 Chevy RS, AWD Twin Motor, All Electric Vehicle with less than 16,000 miles on it. How it started. We recently received news our family would be increasing, and we are becoming grandparents. To accommodate this one of our 5 Mini Coopers had to become a safe baby capable SUV. We wanted a hybrid or electric. The conversation started with an Alfa Remeo, it was low mileage and a Hybrid. Carly found it on their website & thought it was pretty. Ryan pulled the car fax, he was very honest with us that's not the car you want. I have a lower mileage 2025 Chevy Blazer we took in on trade. He welcomed us to test drive both vehicles. We have traveled the country in vehicles Ryan has sold us. So when he said I have a better option, we took him at his word. We came in test drove the Chevy, I didn't even look at the Alfa. Ryan went as far as giving Carly great information on cost of ownership, maintaining charge, and 220 vs 110 charging. I am a paramedic by career and mechanic by curiosity. I do 90% of all our vehicle maintenance. I wasn't thrilled with the prospect of an Italian car, Italian parts, Italian specialty tools and new diagnostic computers. Thank you Ryan for knowing this about me. I didn't have to say anything, no winks, nods, or hey Bro conversations. The all wheel drive, twin motor, all electric vehicle has nothing for me to do, No oil changes, Likely brakes and rotors will never need changed. Rotating tires is about all I will have to do, Jeff from finance made sure we are covered bumper to bumper with the Factory and Extended Warranty. A Great experience with the Finance office, he used our file from our 4 previous purchases, to streamline the process. No sales pitches, no fluff just the necessities. Just things we have used in the past such as Gap protection. Jeff, even applied a credit from previous Gap product. Got us a great interest rate. No pressure sales. Gratefully, Jacob & Carly Cvetan

A $2,626 total for AC work on this vehicle, after being told the compressor was fine, feels excessive and poorly handled. I would not recommend this shop for AC or major repairs.

I bought a Vehicle from a private seller for $4,900 (I used all of my savings and have been…read moreunemployed for several months with an older vehicle that is having issues), on the drive home the newly purchased vehicle started having a jumping/stalling issue and the engine light went on. I went to Auto Zone and was told it was Ignition Coils, spark plugs and a Cylinder 3 Misfire. Found a slider door malfunction was under warranty, contacted Dealership and asked about that repair and the new issue. They told me it would be $600 for a diagnosis and they couldn't tell me any type of estimate. I contacted another local mechanic, they said they would look at it the next morning if I left it there. I got a ride home from a friend. They ended up keeping it for a week with them trying to figure out what was wrong. They at the end charged me $350 gave me an estimate of $4,000 and told me they didn't do the type of service repair it needed! I was devastated. I decided to put the vehicle up for sale listing the possible issues and facing the fact that I will be losing a lot of money on this purchase. Thankfully I hadn't sold my original vehicle yet and it is still drivable. Out of no where Jason messaged me on my Marketplace listing, "I'm a mobile mechanic. I'd be willing to come check the van out for you for free and give you a proper diagnosis for the engine issues you're having." I was shocked and leery about someone especially a mechanic offering this and also thinking what a blessing and answered prayer. As a woman on my own it's very hard to get honest affordable work on a vehicle. Jason scheduled an appt with me the next morning 7:30am. He told me he would message me when he was on his way and he did and then told me he would message when he was 5 minutes away and he did and he showed up as he said he would! Amazing service now days. He looked at my vehicle ran the diagnosis and explained everything in a very easy to understand way. He is such a breath of fresh air. Honest, punctual, courteous, knowledgeable, patient in taking the time to go over everything and explain in detail so you understand. He gave me price WAY under what I was quoted and also recommended that I may want to sell the vehicle as there may be future issues with it due to the issue with it. I had my original vehicle there as well and he took a look at it, told me he could fix the issues with it no problem and to send him all the information and he would get back to me with an estimate asap as he was on his way to another appt. He indeed did not charge me anything for this visit! What Mobile Mechanic, next day appt person would ever do this for someone now days! I was blown away at his kindness and honesty. I have finally found my mechanic! I sent him all the information on my old vehicle and I look forward to having him repair it. I will be letting my friends know about him. Thank you again Jason! Abundant Blessings over you and your business!

03/16/26 - Knorr's Car Care Center Saves the Day!…read more We had a horrible experience with the Walmart Auto Center in New Port Richey and hope to save others from the same. Three weeks ago, we had an oil change done at the Walmart Auto Center on 54 in New Port Richey. Before having the oil changed, our car didn't leak oil, at all. After the oil change, we noticed that it was leaking oil a lot. We took it back, they looked at it and they said they couldn't tell where the oil was leaking from, even after cleaning it off and checking the plug and oil filter. The Manager claimed that she had run it for about an hour while watching it on camera and saw no leaking. She also said the oil level was fine. Today we noticed it was leaking even more and when we checked the oil, it was low about a quart. We took the car to Knorr Car Care Center to have them check it out. They were able to get to the car today and immediately identified that the oil filter was not installed tightly and wasn't sealed, AND the oil drain plug wasn't in all the way. They were able to immediately resolve the issue and said that the diagnostic cost they quoted us covered the cost of taking care of the problem! We have found our new local auto center and will be recommending them to others as well!
