Our first few…read moreinteraction were fine, the problems come when we receive our vehicle back not in "pre-accident" condition. Debris and tires were left in our truck bed, the cover on bed was improperly installed, and our vehicle continues to have driving concerns. When this was brought up to the garage, Mike immediately shut us down and became defensive. He was rude, ignored my concerns, and told me "after an accident you worry about every little thing." My husband called the garage and Mike continued to be rude and defensive regarding our concerns. Absolutely would not recommend due to the lack of professionalism and the disrespect both my husband and I experienced. Mike do better.

If I could give this place negative 5 stars I would. I never leave reviews but I felt this one was…read moreabsolutely necessary. I would never wish for anyone to have to experience the service I received at this repair center. If having an accident isn't bad enough but to have your insurance refer you to this hack shack was beyond the extent of my patience. My vehicle was hit on for the drivers right fender and it took a week for the repair to be completed. I was phoned and texted that the car was ready for pickup. After though inspection of the repair I noticed parts were misaligned and could visibly see the brackets holding the parts together. The progressive rep said she would have the technician inspect it to see if they could make a quick adjustment. Unfortunately, he couldn't. The old part was worn so a new part had to be ordered. You're kidding me right. You attempted to install new parts on an already damaged assembly. Unreal!! Yes order me the new parts. I left the lot only to find additional issues with the repair. The paint looked like orange peel and the pin stripping was wavy and misaligned. I said who installed that a blind person. Helen Keller could've done a better job than that! I then realized the wheel well liner was not fastened properly, the trim along the bottom of the frame looked like some took a flat head screwdriver to it to pry the parts away from the body of the car. Now I reached my tipping point, I opened the drivers door to find the missing parts. The door gasket covering the hinge point of drivers door was not installed. I could clearly see the white liner behind the hinge. I thought I was loosing my mind. Black on black car and a white piece inside the hinge location. Hmmm. Intuition said check the other side. Yep. Missing the gasket!! I don't know who performs their quality control but they certainly don't know what they are looking at or inspecting. I then checked the repair quote and found they used aftermarket parts!!! I contacted Progressive Insurance and took my car back for the manager to see the poor workmanship and he said "don't people make mistakes?" Seriously. Yes, but not this many in a row!!! He had excuses for every deficiency. I was livid. He offered me a rental car since I had already returned the rental I had based on the assumption my car was "repaired and ready for pick up". Once again, I depart the facility and waited for them to contact me when they completed the necessary repairs. A week goes by and late Friday afternoon I'm told once again my car is "ready for pickup". I couldn't make it that afternoon so we arranged to pick up my car and return the rental car for 10am Saturday. The manager didn't meet me. He sent the parts manager out to transfer my keys. Upon driving up to my vehicle I could clearly see where the paint shop took the cutting compound and wheel to my drivers door. It visibly left wheel marks all the way down the drivers door into the passengers door. I refused to take possession of my vehicle and told him I expected my car to be returned to me in perfect condition because that's why I brought it there. He agreed. I then waited another 3 days to get another call that my car was ready again. I figured third times the charm. No way. I argued with the Progressive rep about the paint and repair and she said there was nothing wrong with my car. She " took pictures of before and after". Well so did I. My vehicle is a leased car and I is expected to be returned at the end of this year. The last thing I need is to pay for this poor workmanship again. I took my car to the dealership to inspect the wheel alignment that they supposedly performed and it was misaligned. I provided documentation to Progressive Insurance and I'm still waiting on reimbursement. I also have to take it to the dealerships repair center to ensure the repair was performed satisfactorily, at my expense. Hopefully, Progressive will reimburse me considering they are the ones who referred me to this "Hack Shack" in the first place. I hope whomever reads this will be able make an educated decision to stay away from this business. They lack the ability to perform certified quality service and professionalism. They lack customer service and refuse to take ownership for their mistakes. Pictures speak a 1000 words.

I have never written a Google review before, and I have never felt so compelled to do so until now…read more I waited several weeks before posting this because I wanted to calm down, be fair, and make sure I was sharing my experience accurately. Unfortunately, my experience with Econo Auto Painting & Body Works in New Port Richey was one of the most stressful and disappointing customer service experiences I have ever had. I paid $600 to have the hood and two doors on my 2010 Scion xB repainted. They only accept cash and for a repair of this size, I expected a more professional process and clear documentation. Before approving the work, I specifically asked the manager, Justin, whether the repairs would improve the overall appearance of my car. I was relying on his professional opinion and trusted his recommendation about whether this would be a worthwhile investment. What was not explained to me beforehand was that other areas of my vehicle had existing clear coat issues that would affect the overall appearance after the repair. Had I been told that repainting only these areas would still leave the car with a mismatched appearance, I would have reconsidered spending the money. From the moment I picked up my car, problems began. The hood had visible defects and had to be repainted multiple times. One of the doors also had to be repainted more than once. Although the shop states they honor their warranty until the work is done right, my experience was that every return visit resulted in another issue that was just as bad or worse than the one I originally brought the car in for. During the repair process, my driver's side mirror was broken while my vehicle was in the shop. When I reported it, Justin told me it had already been cracked underneath the base. I disagreed because the mirror had never been loose, damaged, or hanging before I brought my car in. I asked the shop to review their security camera footage to determine what happened and to verify the claim that I had damaged it myself. To my knowledge, no camera footage was ever reviewed or shown to me. Instead, I was told an employee claimed they saw me leaning on the mirror, which I completely dispute. I repeatedly asked to speak with the owner but was never given that opportunity. The shop eventually agreed to replace the mirror, but the replacement they obtained was used, the wrong color, and had faded trim, causing even more delays. After multiple visits and attempts to correct the issues, I later discovered additional damage that was not present when I dropped my car off, including scratches and chips on another panel and a gouge inside the freshly painted door panel. I have photographs documenting these issues. I understand mistakes can happen, but what was most disappointing was how poor the quality of workmanship is and how difficult it was to get my concerns acknowledged and corrected. What should have been a straightforward paint repair turned into months of stress, repeated trips, and frustration. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE !!!!!!!!!
