Autozone offers a free code scanning service but this location wouldn't do it. My wife went in to ask and the woman told her, "It's not going to tell you anything different than what your dashboard is telling you. Just take it to a mechanic." UM....the point of getting the scan done is to be a little more knowledgeable so either a) You can purchase a part from Autozone and DIY or b) Be more informed when/if you need to go to a mechanic. We totally understand that AutoZone doesn't do full diagnostics, but we've always taken our vehicle to at least get a scan. It's fine if they stop providing the service but tell us instead of providing a condescending response. read more

My experience here was excellent. I was driving down the road noticing my AC wasn't cold, just cool enough not to be warm. I got a wild hair and thought, "I wonder if I can pick something up at Autozone to fix that...add some Freon or whatever." I looked up a video on YouTube and found what I should get and pulled up here. The older guy helped me out, suggesting an analog gauge over the more expensive digital one, and made sure I bought the correct coolant, and looked up my cabin air filter. More than that, he explained how to do all of it. His instructions made me more confident I could do it. But then a young guy came in and he had the young guy go out with me to the car to replace the air filter for me. Turned out not to need the new filter. Anyway, this is the kind of service and help you can expect here. For me it was above and beyond, and highly appreciated. read more

Karen was AMAZING!! My car wouldn't start at a market down the street from Auto Zone and she personally went back and forth (between Auto Zone and the market) to help me and get it fixed. It ended up needing a new battery and starter. She saved me so much money and drove to a different location to get my part, all within a few hours. Highly recommend!! read more

Battery died. Had gotten the battery at an AutoZone in Atlanta. I'm in Florida now in Clearwater. Got a friend to jump off the car and drove up to this close AutoZone. They looked at the battery and tested it. They said it died because one of the terminal clamps was loose and had drained the battery. After driving the car for 1/2 hour it should be fine. Charged $4.59 for a battery post shim and that was it. Great bunch of people here. Would highly, highly recommend them. read more

Everything is great here. The staff is extremely friendly, even under the pressure of a long line. And if there is no line, the reps are eager to assist with the basic tasks that do not require assistance. Need a part they don't have in stock? No problem. Pay for it, and it can usually be delivered the same day by 6 or 7 PM. This Autozone is located in a plaza that could use a facelift, but I find the store itself to be immaculate. The employees here obviously take great price in keeping their stock well-organized. They have a rewards program, but make sure you sign up BEFORE you spend your first $20. There is an "add a receipt" option online, but it will not accept purchases prior to your sign up date!!! Don't make the same mistake I did. read more

Getting ready to go grocery shopping and ... guess what? Dead battery. Dead. Dead. Dead. Started calling around to find a new battery (as this one was near or just past its warranty period) and it seems some places have not yet reopened for business, as I ran into a few message recorders. Or, perhaps they were open and too busy. Fortunately, this AutoZone, actually fairly close by my home, was open, and had plenty of my needed battery in stock. Called a friend for a lift. Took the old one there, got the new one, and replaced it. Started right up. So, a five for a great new battery. And a five for customer service, both on the phone when I called to see if they had my battery and for in store, where I got signed up for their rewards program prior to my purchase, and got in and out in a matter of minutes. I'm currently in the store listening to employees talk. One man and woman while they greeted us right away and asked if we need help ended up talking behind the front desk about how the employees working for this company for 18 years or more were miserable bastards and he would be looking for a new job in five years if he was still here.. and yes there were plenty of other people shopping and in ears shot. The women who checked us out was wonderful. The man ended up helping us with a computer problem but I'm still disappointed in what I heard as I'm in the retail business and I know what customer service looks like. read more
